This article studies the influence of entrepreneurial spirit on college students’ entrepreneurial ability and entrepreneurial values. Firstly, the impact of entrepreneurial psychology and entrepreneurial spirit on entrepreneurial values is analyzed. Secondly, the role of entrepreneurial values in innovation and entrepreneurship education is analyzed and summarized under new media. Then, based on entrepreneurial psychology and entrepreneurial spirit, a Questionnaire Survey (QS) is designed to investigate the entrepreneurial values of students in one university in Shaanxi Province, China. The QS analysis suggests that most respondents hold a positive attitude, and their attitude is on the rise. The QS results of “Reasons for entrepreneurial failure” show that 40.37, 31.9, 25.98, and 11.75% of respondents think they lack financial support, business skills, ability, and understanding of policies and laws, respectively. The QS results of “What factors influence entrepreneurial values?” reveal that 39.43% of the respondents chose the “Models of successful entrepreneurs,” successful entrepreneur models can effectively encourage students to receive entrepreneurship education, followed by 28.94% who choose “Achieve their own life goals.” In terms of “Solutions against entrepreneurial risks,” nearly 70% of the students have chosen the negative options. In terms of “Which is the most important entrepreneurial quality?” more students choose entrepreneurial values rather than entrepreneurial quality, proving that students generally lack entrepreneurial values. Given these problems, corresponding countermeasures are put forward to strengthen entrepreneurial psychology and entrepreneurship education, in an attempt to cultivate college students’ entrepreneurial values and entrepreneurial ability under the new media. The results provide some data support for the impact of college students’ entrepreneurial values and entrepreneurial ability.

In recent years, innovation and entrepreneurship education is one of the hot spots of higher education research and practice in China. Innovation and entrepreneurship education can be taken as a new direction. Despite the commonly held view that entrepreneurship education drive the promotion of entrepreneurial intention, little is known about the mechanism through which this intervention impacts on entrepreneurial intention. Based on the assimilation learning theory of cognitive structure and the planned behavior theory, the purpose of this work is to analyze the relationship between innovation and entrepreneurship education (IEE) and entrepreneurial intention from the perspective of educational psychology, to explore the influence mechanism of IEE on entrepreneurial intention, and to promote the success of college students in entrepreneurship. In this study, questionnaires were conducted among college students of different colleges, majors, and grades in Anhui province, with the aid of multiple linear regression analysis and mediating effect model analysis. The results show that IEE has positive effect on entrepreneurial intention. In addition, entrepreneurial knowledge plays a mediating role in the relationship between IEE and entrepreneurial intention. And the mediating effect of innovation behavior and entrepreneurial attitude is not obvious. These results are expected to provide evidence for understanding the relationship between IEE and entrepreneurial intention under the background of Chinese education, to enrich and expand the theoretical basis of IEE, and to possess theoretical, empirical, and practical significance for the design and implementation of innovation and entrepreneurship education for college students.

The increasing competition in today’s market is becoming more and more intense, and the rapid process of developing a knowledge-based economy is making a start-up extremely effective for the future building of the nation. As an innovative economy, it strongly promotes social and economic development and it is more conducive and beneficial to building an innovative country. Therefore, it is of practical significance to study the impact of university innovation and entrepreneurship education (UIAEE) based on virtual reality (VR) technology on college students’ entrepreneurial willingness. In the process of researching the impact of UIAEE based on VR on college students’ entrepreneurial willingness, the present study collects and consults a large number of documents to obtain knowledge that is helpful for research. This research work is based on the premise of UIAEE based on VR, researching its influence on the entrepreneurial willingness of students who have received this education. It is guided by the theory of planned behavior and takes 400 students from our school as the research object. Testing the results of the impact of innovation and entrepreneurship education (IAEE) on college students’ entrepreneurial willingness was carried out through the establishment of models. The research results show that the impact of UIAEE based on VR activities on college students’ entrepreneurial willingness is answered in the affirmative. It can be better to sort out the relationship through the results, and the results are basically consistent with the assumptions of the theoretical model.

Entrepreneurship education for college students increasingly attracts extensive attention of both government and universities in China. However, few studies focus on the effectiveness of this external “input” learning for Chinese college students, and whether entrepreneurship education can be expected to increase college students' intention of starting a business. Based on cognitive perspective, the authors collected 327 valid questionnaires from college students in China to explore the impact mechanism of entrepreneurship education on entrepreneurial intention. Results shows that entrepreneurship education has a positive effect on risk perception capability and entrepreneurial intention. Risk perception capability positively affects entrepreneurial intention and plays an intermediary role in the relationship of entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial intention. Then the authors put forward suggestions and strategies for the implementation and popularization of entrepreneurship education for domestic universities in China.

Abstract Entrepreneurial intention has been found to be fundamental to decision-making and behavior to become entrepreneurs, with consequent effects on economic development. However, the COVID-19 pandemic calls for a novel approach to teaching entrepreneurship owing to the shift to online learning. The current study explores entrepreneurial intention derived from the entrepreneurship education program (EEP) using an online group-based learning approach. In particular, we examine satisfaction with an online group-based learning approach by integrating the theory of planned behavior with design thinking-based entrepreneurship course, peer interactions, and speaker interactions. The entrepreneurship education program (EEP) in this research was for vocational college students located in Southeast Asia. The online questionnaire was distributed to participants (N = 263, MAGE = 18.64) at the end of the online entrepreneurship education program. The model was tested using a structural equation model analysis. Attitude, subject norm, and satisfaction were found to predict higher entrepreneurial intention among vocational college students. Moreover, design thinking-based entrepreneurship course, peer interaction, and speaker interaction have indirect effects on entrepreneurial intention through satisfaction. This research extends the literature on entrepreneurship education by proposing a novel learning approach, that is, the online groupbased learning approach, which could be applied to entrepreneurship education programs to enhance students’ entrepreneurial intention.
