Aim: The aim of this survey study was to assess the level of awareness amongst Indian population regarding the COVID-19. Method: A survey was conducted amongst 745 individuals to assess their level of awareness regarding COVID-19 and steps to be taken for its prevention. Result: The results revealed that a considerable percentage of individuals learned about the pandemic through social media and news and were aware of the mode of spread of the virus and also steps to be taken to prevent it from spreading. But considerable percentage of people was also not fully aware regarding the age groups this virus will be affecting. Conclusion: Upon understanding the percentage of people not aware about the age groups this virus will be affecting, keeping in mind good amount of knowledge amongst individuals about maintaining hygiene and social distancing, this survey would help the health care workers to create awareness regarding the effect of this virus on different age groups to help prevent carelessness amongst youth in following the regime.

During this pandemic, social media has become a major need as a means of communication. One of the social medias used is Twitter by using messages referred to as tweets. Indonesia currently undergoing mass social distancing. During this time most people use social media in order to spend their idle time However, sometimes, this result in negative sentiment that used to insult and aimed at an individual or group. To filter that kind of tweets, a sentiment analysis was performed with SVM and 3 different kernel method. Tweets are labelled into 3 classes of positive, neutral, and negative. The experiments are conducted to determine which kernel is better. From the sentiment analysis that has been performed, SVM linear kernel yield the best score Some experiments show that the precision of linear kernel is 57%, recall is 50%, and f-measure is 44%

This study examined E-marketing strategies and performance of small and medium-sized enterprises: A new-normal agenda. It aimed to explore the effects of social media marketing, online advertising, and email marketing on the performance of SMEs in the new-normal era. The study adopted a cross-sectional survey research design. It used a structured questionnaire to obtain primary data from 295 operators of SMEs. The hypotheses developed for the study were statistically tested using multiple linear regression with the aid of the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS 23). The findings of the study revealed that social media marketing, online advertising, and email marketing had significant positive effects on the performance of SMEs in the new-normal era. Therefore, the study recommended that SMEs adopt social media platforms (such as Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp); online advertising tools (such as search engine, display, and website advertising); and email marketing tools (such as welcome email, email newsletters, and dedicated email promotions) to promote their products and services in order to enhance sales and marketing performance. Suggestions for further studies are also made as a guide for intending researchers.

The Covid 19 pandemic has had a major impact on Indonesia's tourism sector, including Hulu Sungai Selatan (HSS) Regency in South Kalimantan Province. HSS Regency has a potential tourist attraction that is a mainstay of South Kalimantan, namely the Bamboo Rafting Loksado tour. After having stopped operating due to the pandemic for 8 months, this tour was reopened by making changes to its operational system. This study aims to describe the tourism promotion strategy carried out by DISPORAPAR HSS in maintaining Bamboo Rafting tourism objects during the pandemic using descriptive qualitative research methods. DISPORAPAR HSS, which houses this tourist attraction, has compiled strategic steps to promote safe tourism for visitors by socializing the implementation of national health protocol standards and health protocol standards based on the Indonesian Rafting Federation using educational videos on new normal tours, inviting local people to participate in supporting new normal tourism, using social media facilities as an effective and efficient means of promotion, and continuing to carry out evaluation stages to realize Bamboo Rafting tourism objects to attract visitors again.

Social media is popular with all ages, people in young and old age groups can access social media. Social media is a place for information and opinion exchange. Twitter is one of the social media that is actively used in Indonesia. The new normal phenomenon that is currently being applied is wanted to be further known by researchers by referring to the hashtag #newnormalindonesia on Twitter. Researchers want to find out how public opinion is formed based on the hashtag #newnormalindonesia on Twitter. This research uses the concept of public opinion which is categorized into positive, negative, and neutral. In the research method, researchers use quantitative content analysis, the analysis unit uses thematic analysis units with the operationalization of concepts using the concept of public opinion. Coding sheets are used as instruments in data collection techniques, then in testing the validity and reliability using inter-coder reliability. The results showed that the twitter posts with the #newnormalindonesia hashtag tendto be negative by not supporting the implementation of new normal.

Pembatasan sosial efektif dalam mencegah transmisi Covid-19 tetapi berpotensi merugikan perekonomian. Bisnis yang bergantung pada pelayanan dan komunikasi tatap muka menjadi sangat rentan. Bali, salah satu provinsi yang 80 persen masyarakatnya menggantungkan hidup pada pariwisata, mengalami dampak signifikan pada okupansi penginapan yang menurun dari 60,37 persen pada Juli 2019 menjadi 2,07 persen pada  Juli 2020. Penurunan ini disebabkan oleh kecemasan tertular Covid-19, keraguan akan jaminan keamanan penginapan, serta lockdown yang dilakukan oleh berbagai negara. Menanggapi hal ini, pemerintah menerbitkan istilah new normal. Berdasarkan penelitian, terdapat dua perlakuan yang dapat dilakukan  oleh pemilik usaha penginapan yaitu Lecit (let’s complete it together)  dan Lesy (let us serve you). Lecit ditujukan untuk konsumen yang menginginkan harga murah (penurunan harga drastis) dengan fasilitas protokol kesehatan standar (social distancing, sanitasi yang memadai, dan disinfektan) dan lebih cocok untuk penginapan yang bersifat privat. Lesy ditujukan untuk konsumen yang bersedia membayar harga normal atau penurunan harga wajar dengan fasilitas kesehatan yang maksimal dan lebih cocok untuk penginapan yang memiliki beberapa ruangan penginapan dalam satu lokasi. Kedua solusi tersebut dapat dipertimbangkan karena berdasarkan penelitian, sebanyak 71 persen responden enggan menyewa penginapan karena cemas tertular Covid-19.
