Banyaknya penderita TB ini sebagian besar disebabkan karena adanya ketidakpatuhan dalam melakukan pengobatan Obat Anti Tuberkulosis (OAT) sehingga bakteri TB menjadi kebal atau penderita menjadi resisten terhadap OAT. Kepatuhan penderita TB tuberkulosis dalam menjalani pengobatan merupakan hal utama dalam keberhasilan pengobatan. Dukungan sosial dari keluarga dan teman-teman kelompok pendukung dapat dibentuk untuk membantu kepatuhan pasien dalam menjalani pengobatan. Ketika mendapatkan dukungan, seseorang akan merasa dicintai, dihargai, dan diakui serta membuat dirinya lebih berarti. Adapun bentuk dukungan yang dapat diberikan kepada penderita TB penderita tuberkulosis paru adalah dalam bentuk peer group support yang dapat berupa dukungan positif pada setiap kegiatan yang dilakukan. Pengabdian dilaksanakan di Puskesmas Rumbai Pesisir yang terdiri dari 20 Kader Kesehatan pada tahun 2020. Metode dalam melaksanakan kegiatan ini melalui pelatihan yakni dengan memberikan pengetahuan melalui ceramah interaktif kemudian diberikan keterampilan mengenai bagaimana kader kesehatan melakukan peer group support terhadap pasien TB. Adapun manfaat yang dihasilkan dari kegiatan ini adalah Kader kesehatan TB memiliki perubahan pada pengetahuan, pemahaman, dan keterampilan Kader Kesehatan dalam menangani pasien TB. Peer group support seharusnya dilakukan secara keberlanjutan sehingga meningkatkan motivasi pasien TB dalam kepatuhan minum obat agar sembuh. Dengan adanya peer group support ini pasien TB tidak akan merasa sendiri dan depresi karena bisa berbagi cerita dalam menghadapi penyakit TB.

Introduction: Diabetes Mellitus is a chronic disease that cannot be cured so that compliance is required to manage the disease. Patient compliance is in accordance with the provisions of the behavior of health workers. The aimed of this study was to analyze the effect of peer group support on the compliance of type 2 Diabetes mellitus disease management.Methods: This research was used a quasy experiment pre post test designed. The selection of sample using a purposive sampling and was obtained 16 respondents from 77 population. The independent variable was a peer group support that carried out for two weeks while dependent variable was dietary compliance, exercise and drugs consumption which data was collected by observation sheet. The data were analyzed using Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test and Mann Whitney U Test with significantvalue of ≤α 0.05.Result: The results showed that there was increase of dietary compliance (p=0.012) but there was no effect of peer group support for dietary compliance (p=0.14), the increase of exercise compliance (p=0.012) and there was effect of peer group support for exercisecompliance (p=0.004), and the increase of drugs consumption compliance (p=0.027) and there was effect of peer group support for drugs consumption compliance (p=0.048).Discussion: It can be concluded that peer group support had good effect to improve dietary compliance, exercise, and drugs consumption so that blood sugar could be controlled. Larger respondents, more proper instruments and longer duration of study will be needed to get a better result of the further research.

Introduction: Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) is a retrovirus that infects cells of the immune system, destroying or damaging the function of cells of the immune system. This makes the immune system becomes weaker, and people become more liable to infection. A lot of new detected HIV transmission source comes from former workers who work abroad. The challenge in dealing the number of transmission performed comprehensive care of patients and their family empowerment and peer support groups. The aimed of this study was to develop the ability of a family of Indonesian Workers who are infected with HIV and Peer Support Group in independence of care. Methods: This study was used an explanatory design and quasy-experimental. Population in this study were the closest family who care for patients infected with HIV during work abroad as migrant workers in East Java. Samples were selected using simple random sampling technique. The independent variable was the peer group and family support, the dependent variable is the level of independence of care on the respondent. Data were collected using a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability and results were tested using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test with alpha ≤0.05. Results: The results showed that this method can improve the independence of the family of the HIV-infected client care during labor as migrant workers abroad with a significance value of p=0.004. Conclusion: Empowerment of family and peer group support can be used to increase the independence of families and patients in the treatment of HIV-infected patients during work abroad as migrant workers. The development of nursing, especially related to the nursing intervention approach, is running so fast. This can be seen from the use of peer group support in nursing interventions in individual humans. The purpose of this literature is to find the impact of implementing nursing interventions using a peer group support approach. This literature review method uses JBI and Prisma on 120 articles taken from journal databases, namely Scopus, PubMed and ScienceDirect. From the articles analyzed, it was found that the application of peer groups can improve individual abilities both in psychological and behavioral aspects. The application of the peer group approach is able to be one of the approaches in the world of nursing in carrying out nursing actions today.

Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease which is the leading cause of ill health, one of the top 10 causes of death worldwide and the leading cause of death from a single infectious agent (ranking above HIV / AIDS). WHO estimates that there are 23,000 cases of MDR / RR in Indonesia. In 2017 there were 442,000 TB cases recorded in the program, of which an estimated 8,600-15,000 MDR / RR TB, (estimated 2.4% of new cases and 13% of previously treated TB patients), but only 27.36% treated. The aim of this literature is to evaluate peer group support and family support on treatment adherence to pulmonary tuberculosis patients. This study used a systematic literature review design. Articles were collected through the PubMed and Google Scholar databases published from 2016-2020 using the keywords peer group support, family support, medication adherence, pulmonary tuberculosis. The results of the literature review showed that providing peer group support or family support can have an impact positive for pulmonary tuberculosis patients. The conclusion in this study is that patients who get support from either peer group support or family support can significantly improve compliance with pulmonary tuberculosis treatment so that it can increase the success rate of pulmonary tuberculosis treatment. Keywords: peer group support; family support; treatment compliance; pulmonary tuberculosis ABSTRAK Tuberkulosis (TB) adalah penyakit menular yang merupakan penyebab utama masalah kesehatan yang buruk, salah satu dari 10 penyebab utama kematian di seluruh dunia dan penyebab utama kematian dari satu agen infeksi tunggal (peringkat di atas HIV / AIDS). WHO memperkirakan ada 23.000 kasus MDR/RR di Indonesia. Pada tahun 2017 kasus TB yang tercatat di program ada sejumlah 442.000 kasus yang mana dari kasus tersebut diperkirakan ada 8.600-15.000 MDR/RR TB, (perkiraan 2,4% dari kasus baru dan 13% dari pasien TB yang diobati sebelumnya), tetapi cakupan yang diobati baru sekitar 27,36%. Tujuan Literatur ini untuk mengevaluasi peer group support dan family support terhadap kepatuhan pengobatan pasien tuberkulosis paru. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain systematic literature review. Artikel dikumpulkan melalui database PubMed dan Google Scholar yang dipublikasikan dari tahun 2016-2020 dengan menggunakan kata kunci peer group support, family support, kepatuhan pengobatan, tuberkulosis paru. Hasil literature review menunjukkan bahwa pemberian peer group support atau family support dapat memberikan dampak yang positif kepada pasien tuberkulosis paru. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini bahwa pasien yang mendapatkan dukungan baik peer group support atau family support secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan kepatuhan pengobatan tuberkulosis paru sehingga dapat meningkatkan tingkat keberhasilan pengobatan tuberkulosis paru Kata kunci: peer group support; family support; kepatuhan pengobatan; tuberkulosis paru

<p>Masa remaja merupakan masa transisi perkembangan antara masa kanak-kanak dan masa dewasa yang mengandung perubahan besar baik fisik, kognitif, dan psikososial yang saling bertautan dalam semua ranah perkembangan. Sebagai remaja, peserta didik pada jenjang sekolah menengah pertama (SMP) sudah sewajarnya memiliki berbagai macam keinginan dan cita-cita setelah lulus. Mereka dihadapkan pada berbagai alternatif pilihan yang perlu dilakukan untuk mengantisipasi program yang harus ditempuh selanjutnya setelah menyelesaikan pendidikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dukungan keluarga dan <em>peer group support </em>dengan pemilihan sekolah menengah atas sederajatpada peserta didik SMP Negeri di kabupaten Luwu. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Instrumen (alat ukur) dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner yang merupakan hasil pengembangan dari teori dan disusun pada operasionalisasi konsep. Pertanyaan dalam kuesioner menggunakan <em>skala likert. </em>Berdasarkan tujuannya, penelitian ini adalah <em>penelitian korelasional</em>. Sampel sebanyak 60 orang yang akan diambil dari 6 (enam) sekolah menengah pertama negeri. Data tersebut diolah dan dianalisa sesuai dengan yang diperlukan. Prinsip dasarnya adalah menggunakan analisis stastistik karena data yang dapatkan berjumlah besar dan dapat diklasifikasikan dalam berbagai kategori yang ditentukan. Analisis statistik yang digunakan adalah statistik inferensial karena tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah melihat apakah ada hubungan korelasi antar variabel. Oleh karena itu dilakukan uji hipotesis dan uji korelasi antar variabel. Tingkat signifikansi yang digunakan adalah 5 %.</p>

The challenge is how to improve the psychological response of people living with HIV (PLWHA) to be able to socialize confident and not worry about the stigma. The purpose of this study is to implement the model of family support Indonesian Workers who are infected with HIV and Peer Support Group through modules implemented by families and peer groups.  Methods: This study was used a quasy-experimental. Population in this study were the PLWHA who contracted during work abroad as migrant workers in East Java. Samples were selected using simple random sampling technique. The independent variable were the family and peer group support, the dependent variable was the psychological response of respondents. Data were collected using a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability and results were tested using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test with alpha ≤0.05 and supported by the implementation of the focus group respondents as a reinforcement of the qualitative results. Results: The results showed that this method can improve psychological response of the PLWHA during labor as migrant workers abroad with a significance value of p=0.040. Qualitative results stated that the majority of respondents found the meaning of life that is surrendered to God Almighty. Conclusion: Family and peer group support can be used to increase the psychological response of the PLWHA during work abroad as migrant workers.
