This study examined the impact of Deceptive Advertising on Customer Loyalty in the telecommunication industry of Karachi, Pakistan. This research was quantitative in nature. The sample size was 250; questionnaires were distributed electronically and manually. Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) was used to analyze the data with the help of SPSS. Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using AMOS, conducted to ensure the model and testing the hypothesis. The outcome of the present study verifies that word of mouth has a strong significant influence on customer loyalty. Hence customer satisfaction and customer trust are causing word of mouth in a positive and significant way. So it shows that there is a positive and strongly significant influence of customer satisfaction and trust on customer loyalty with the mediation of word of mouth. On the other hand, deceptive ads are causing word of mouth in a negative way. Hence it is concluded that deceptive ads have a negative influence on customer loyalty with the mediation of word of mouth. This study suggested that in order to increase customer loyalty and build a long-term relationship with the customer’s telecom companies should focus on accurate information and rendering the level of competitive services to their customers.

CSR has become one of the imperative implements in satisfying customers. The impartial of this research is to calculate CSR, relationship marketing, and customer satisfaction. There is no more study accompanied in Pakistan to quantify the effect of CSR and relationship marketing on the relationship maintainer and customer loyalty. To find out deductive approach and survey method is used as research approach and research strategy respectively. This research design is descriptive and quantitative study. For data, collection questionnaire method with semantic differential scale and seven point scales are adopted. Data has been collected by adopting the non-probability convenience technique as sampling technique and the sample size is 400. For factor confirmatory factor analysis, structure equation modeling and medication analysis, regression analysis Amos software were used. Strong empirical evidence supports that the customer’s perception of CSR performance is highly influenced by the values

The aim of this study was to determine the relationship of the features of the value, satisfaction, and customer loyalty; the effect on the value of customer satisfaction and loyalty; influence of satisfaction on customer loyalty. A total of 200 merchant PT. BANK XYZ as respondents was selected randomly. Analyses were performed using structural equation modeling (SEM). The analysis showed that the feature has a significant influence on customer value, but not for customer satisfaction and loyalty. The values has a significant influence on satisfaction, but not on customer loyalty. Satisfaction has a significant influence on customer loyalty. Discussion and conclusions described in the article. This study was aimed at investigating three factors (service quality, brand image and price perception) and assessed the degree of the impact of each factor on customer satisfaction, especially the relationship between customer satisfaction and customer loyalty in Vietnamese mobile telecom sector where there have been the existence of the fierce competition, mature market and internationally integrated economy, ultimately struggling for market share and survival. The results indicated that each factor (service quality, brand image, price perception) has a positive impact on customer satisfaction at the different level as well as a significantly positive relationship between customer satisfaction and customer loyalty in mobile telecommunication industry in Vietnam. The results of this study are consistent with the findings and evidence in the extant literature. The study provides the important feedback from customers to mobile telecom suppliers. Research findings are expected to be marketing insights for Vietnamese mobile telecom managers so that they can develop the sound marketing strategies in today’s competitive and costly market.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to investigate if retail services have a transformative potential to improve the well-being of customers in a Latin American market. Transformative studies have been conducted mostly in developed countries, and consumer well-being in a Latin American supermarket context has not been addressed previously. Specifically, this study aims to understand if customer satisfaction with a supermarket experience in Chile leads to positive customer well-being. Additionally, it is examined if customer well-being influences firm outcomes, such as customer loyalty, word-of-mouth (WOM) communication or retailer equity. Design/methodology/approach A conceptual model was developed, and data was collected through an online survey from 866 customers of a large supermarket chain in Chile. Hypotheses were tested with structural equation modeling. Findings The findings of this study support all the hypotheses of the model and confirm that customer satisfaction has direct and indirect effects on customer loyalty and other firm outcomes through customer well-being. Research limitations/implications This research is among the few studies in the academic literature that considers retail experience and well-being outcomes for supermarket customers in a Latin American context. Limitations derive from the cross-sectional nature of this study. Practical implications There are implications from this study contributing to the literature on customer retail experience, in terms of the potential to transform supermarket shopping in a Latin American country. This is particularly relevant in Latin America as the extent to which for-profit organizations acknowledge their relevancy of the individuals’ well-being is still at its infancy. Social implications This research provides empirical support to the importance of not only looking at traditional measures such as WOM, equity and loyalty but looking into the impact services have for customers’ life and well-being. Originality/value This study contributes to the services literature and addresses a gap in it by exploring the transformative potential of supermarket shopping on customer well-being and in turn the role of customer well-being in retail firm outcomes. The findings also contribute in considering Chile, a Latin American context that has been overlooked in the transformative services studies. This provides managerial implications for domestic and global companies that offer grocery retailing for consumers in this region.

During the last decade, the Indian banking sector has shown a remarkable advancement in terms of innovation, growth, and value creation. Behind this development of the Indian banking sector, several factors like customer satisfaction and word-of-mouth (WOM) are responsible. Literature has reported that pleasure and arousal play an important role in customer satisfaction. Investigations have been carried out on the influence of pleasure and arousal on behavioural intentions including satisfaction and WOM. However, there has been no such study for the banking sector. This gap in research has motivated this study. This paper suggests a conceptual model in which pleasure and arousal directly influence satisfaction and WOM. It also tests the impact of satisfaction on WOM. Based on prior literature, several hypotheses stating the linkages among pleasure, arousal, satisfaction, and word-of-mouth were developed. Russell�s framework for pleasure and arousal (emotion) formed the basis of the model. For the purpose of the study, face-to-face interviews with a structured questionnaire were conducted to collect data. Participants included customers above 18 years from both public and private sector banks in three cities namely, Kolkata, Durgapur, and Haldia of West Bengal, India. Data collection was done with the use of area sampling procedure. Out of 500 questionnaires administered, about 310 questionnaires were useable for analysis. The data analysis was done with SPSS 19 and AMOS 18. Structural equation modeling (SEM) using AMOS 18 was applied to explore the links between the constructs in the conceptual model. The overall fit of the conceptual model was assessed using several indices furnished in the AMOS output. The fit index results suggested model fitness with the data. The results of the study indicate that: Pleasure has significant positive and negative impacts on satisfaction and WOM respectively. Arousal has significant negative and positive impact on satisfaction and WOM. Satisfaction has positive significant impact on WOM.

<p><em>The objective of this study is to investigate the impact of price and service quality on customer satisfaction to increase words of mouth. Data were collected by distributes questionnaires to 110 patient of Bhayangkara Polda DIY Hospital. Then, data was analyzed using structural equation modeling. The result showed that service quality, price and image have positive effect on patient satisfaction and patient satisfaction has a positive effect on words of mouth. The results also shows that image have the highest effect in creating the satisfaction. Therefore, the models of words of mouth have acceptable.</em></p>

This research aims to investigate the impact of customer satisfaction, experience, and loyalty on brand power in the Hotel industry. This study used a descriptive-survey research design based on the correlation method. The selected populations were Pars Hotels’ customers. Sample size was 384, based on Krejcie and Morgan’s sampling table. The structural equation modeling was used to evaluate the causal simulation and to examine the reliability and validity of the measuring model. The research results showed that customer expectation has the most impact on customer satisfaction with path coefficient of 0.74. On the other hand, customer loyalty, with path coefficient of 0.65, is known as an influential factor. This study helps to understand that customer satisfaction and customer expectations are positive drivers of customer loyalty. Customer loyalty also is a strong predictor of brand power in hoteling and tourism industry. By strengthening that part, which you have better resources, you can have a better supply and thus, there would be more opportunities in establishing reputation and increasing visibility.

This study investigates how assortment satisfaction is predicted for purchase of online footwear and its consequences. This research is interplay of product display, customer loyalty, perceived risk and price comparison to ascertain their relationships. It examines the association between intrinsic cues and assortment satisfaction. This article also probes the well-established relationship between satisfaction and loyalty by way of assortment satisfaction and customer loyalty. The impact of product display, customer loyalty and price comparison on assortment satisfaction has been empirically verified by exploratory factor analysis and tested by structural equation modeling. The findings prove that price comparison is the most important factor influencing assortment satisfaction. Assortment satisfaction leads to customer loyalty. The authors develop a model that jointly optimizes assortment satisfaction for product display and price comparison and builds customer loyalty.

As Word of Mouth (WOM) progress as one of the most potent marketing instruments, millennials are a vital contributor to the growth of eWOM. Considering how powerful eWOM is and the significance of millennials as the generation that derives the transformation of eWOM as the primary source of information for the customer, it is important to know the variables that drive millennial customers desire to provide information about product and service through their own social media account. This study then employed structural equation modeling to analyze the data. This study finds that out of the two, cool factors only hedonic cool is proven to have a positive and significant influence on customer satisfaction. The other finding is that active Visual eWOM activity of customer are positively influenced by customer satisfaction.

Purpose As the concept of corporate sustainable management activities (CSMA) has become an increasingly important element of corporate management, much attention has been paid to its impact on customer relationship. Although there exists many studies concentrating mainly on the environment aspect of CSMA, only a few address the three dimensions of CSMA (environmental, social and economic) and examine their comprehensive impact on relationship marketing. In an attempt to fill this gap, the purpose of this paper is to empirically investigate the influence of CSMA on customer satisfaction (CS), word of mouth intention (WOMI) and repurchase intention (RI). Design/methodology/approach The data come from 214 shipping industry practitioners (shippers, freight forwarders and third party logistics service providers in South Korea). Structural equation modeling (SEM) is employed to test the impact of CSMA on CS, WOMI and RI. Findings Based on a survey conducted in South Korea, the findings indicate that environmental and economic aspects of CSMA play a significant role in enhancing CS and the enhanced CS positively affects WOMI and RI. Research limitations/implications As the field data were obtained from only one industry, future replication of the findings to other industries should consider industry-specific factors, if applicable. Practical implications The results highlight several implications for shipping industry practitioners to consider when establishing the strategy for effective corporate sustainable management to enhance CS. Originality/value This study is one of the first empirical attempts to explore how CSMA affects CS in the shipping industry. In addition, this paper empirically investigates the influence of CS on WOMI and RI.
