The paper discusses hardware and software for creating a unified software and hardware platform for a situation center as a heterogeneous environment - an environment whose computing nodes are controlled by incompatible software that supports the possibility of organizing interaction. The method of organizing the interaction of the subsystems of the situation center through a universal list of requests is also considered.

Combining Popular Game Consoles and OSGi to Investigate Autonomous In-The-Field Biomedical Data Acquisition and ManagementThe need and interest in conducting biomedical research outside the traditional laboratory is increasing. In the field testing such as in the participant's home or work environment is a growing consideration when undertaking biomedical investigation. This type of research requires at a minimum semi-autonomous computer systems that collect such data and send it back to the laboratory for processing and dissemination with the smallest amount of attendance by the participant or even the experimenter. A key aspect of supporting this type of research is the selection of the appropriate software and hardware components. These supporting systems need to be reliable, allow considerable customizability and be readily accessible but also able to be locked down. In this paper we report a set of requirements for the hardware and software for such a system. We then utilise these requirements to evaluate the use of game consoles as a hardware platform in comparison to other hardware choices. We finish by outline one particular aspect of the supporting software used to support the chosen hardware platform based on the OSGi framework.

To realize the design of mobile 4G gateway of ZigBee wireless sensor network (WSN), a scheme of wireless remote monitoring based on ZigBee and general packet radio service (GPRS) WSN gateway system is proposed. The scheme combines the advantages of short distance, low power consumption, low cost and long distance popular communication of ZigBee technology, and uses the system architecture of ZigBee + GPRS + Android. On this hardware platform, the transplantation of Android system and the development of related hardware device drivers are designed and implemented, so as to build the software platform of the system. Based on the software and hardware platform of the system, the related applications are designed and realized according to the function requirements of the system, and the software and hardware platform and the application program are tested and analyzed. The test results show that the system runs steadily and has good performance. To sum up, the hardware platform has the advantages of low energy consumption, high performance and scalability.

Putting forward a kind of parameters monitor management solutions of electric vehicle charging pile based on ARM-Linux embedded software and hardware platform. This system regarded embedded processing chip S3C2440A as the core of data collection, management and control, completed the design of function interface of charging pile, and developed touch interface of charging pile in QT/Embeded environment. The system realized such functions, for instance, charging identification, the account balance recognition, charging qualification discriminant, charging rev. Stop control etc. Experiments show that this scheme can meet the monitoring management system requirements of the electric vehicle charging pile , and has certain practical value

UNSTRUCTURED The increased availability of devices that can record every aspect of a person’s life will allow the recording of a large amount of data that will be primarily useful for that particular user. These devices and their data will place each and every one of us at the doorstep of the era of personal big data. Using this data, in a not so distant future, we will be able to set a personal digital life coach, a digital platform that will act at an individual level, but also considering a global interaction, not only as a social networking tool, but as a platform that will profit from the individual experiences of its users. This position paper focuses on the identification of the milestones that will mark the creation of such a software and hardware platform, by exploring the opportunities and challenges that it poses to the computer science researchers, and how such a solution can be designed to be a user-adoptable lifestyles monitoring and training tool.

For development of a high-performance grinding initiative Meter, this paper proposes an approach based on embedded system. The initiative Meter uses ARM9 microprocessor as hardware-platform and Windows CE 5.0 as operating system. It mainly describes the working principle and software and hardware design program in this article. It accelerates the speed of operation, enhances the real-time of measurement control, improves the measurement accuracy of initiative Meter through the adoption of high-performance microprocessor and multithreaded programming technology, and at the same time has good man-machine interface. The initiative Meter adopts touch screen operation, parameters of it can easily adjusted and set. According to the test, the embedded initiative Meter has a high performance in various aspects, it will have abroad market prospects for its higher ratio of performance to price.
