The study aimed to evaluate the perception of employees on both intrinsic and extrinsic reward system and whether reward system impact their performance and the organization performance at large. To achieve the objective, the study employed Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) approach to test six hypothesis. The study sampled 400 employee of Zenith Bank Plc using questionnaire send to the respondent emails. PLS-SEM result revealed that both extrinsic and intrinsic rewards have positive and significant impact on employee performance, although, extrinsic appear more potent than intrinsic rewards. It was further revealed that three of the four measure of employee performance; quality job, effective service delivery, customer rating has positive significant with organization performance while time management was unable to explain organization performance. We discovered also that gender does not play any significant role on employee performance, but age does. The study therefore concluded that rewards play an important role in both employee performance and organization performance.

Purpose This study aims to examine the relationship between environmental cost (EC) on organisational performance (OPM) through an environmental management system (EMS) as the mediating variable. Design/methodology/approach A total of 2,600 manufacturers were identified and consequently selected as the entire study population. Additionally, this study used the structural equation modelling technique to identify the mediator effects of EMS between EC and OPM. Findings The EC and EMS relationship on OPM produced direct and indirect consequences. Hence, it is concluded that manufacturing industry in Malaysia are focused on the OPM when implementing EC and EMS. Originality/value The model would incorporate EC and EMS implementation on OPM in the Malaysian manufacturing industry. This study could also be advantageous to the industry in improving EC, EMS and OPM.

Several studies on social media from a users' perspective have been conducted. However, less attention has been paid to the effect of social media on organization performance, particularly among hotels. The aim of the study is to investigate the effect of social media on hotels' business performance as well as assessing the moderating effect of the hotel classification. In this study, a structural equation modelling method has been used for data analysis. The survey data was gathered from a sample of 146 hotels in Lebanon. Data analysis results demonstrate a positive and significant relationship between social media characteristics (visibility and association but not editability) on hotel business performance. The findings present valuable implications for hotel managers to direct their social media strategy and to capitalize on the possible benefits of social media to increase the business performance of hotels. In addition, the findings could also provide useful insights into other business sectors that have the intention to invest in social media.

The decline in employee performance at UP PTSP Makasar District is characterized by a decreased level of service time efficiency in the area of KRK and IMB licensing. In addition, the cause of the decline in employee performance is due to the behavior of employees who like to postpone work and come late to work intentionally, and also employees lack the determination of high morale at work. The achievement of the duties of UP PTSP employees in Makasar Sub-District was not in accordance with the determined time standard. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the work environment and workload on the performance of UP PTSP Makasar District employees and to know the factors that had to be prioritized to become better. The data used for research is questionnaire data which is processed by the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method. This study analyzes the factors of work environment and workload using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS applications. Based on SEM output regression weights value states that there is no significant effect between work environment on employee performance. While there is a significant effect between workload on employee performance. The main priority in improving employee performance through the work environment is cleanliness in the workplace. The main priority in improving employee performance through better workloads is with work conditions at the workplace.
