Nowadays economy has developed very fast, along with the rapid development of science and technology which is increasingly modern makes the competition between companies become more intense. With the intense competition between companies encouraging each company to do a good inventory control in supporting and expediting the production activities. According to Assauri (2008:176) Inventory control is one of the activities of the activities sequence that are closely related to each other in the entire company's production operations in accordance with what has been planned both time, quantity, quality, and cost. In an effort to control inventory one of the methods that can be used is the "Economic Order Quality” (EOQ) analysis. EOQ is the most economical volume or amount of purchases to be made at each time of purchase. In addition to determining EOQ, companies also need to determine the point of order for raw materials to be used or reorder point (ROP) and determine the amount of safety stock. Data sourced from Mie Sinar Sulawesi Cap Dua Angsa Company. It can be seen the results of research conducted show that the difference in quantity and frequency of purchases that are more efficient with a total quantity of 10.910 kg in one order and frequency of 5 orders and reorder point is 2.212 kg while the amount of safety stock is 1.892 kg. By applying the EOQ method, it can make a company able to create economical inventory costs. However, before implementing this method the company must also calculate the important aspects such as capacity, warehouse, capital costs, and the risks of damage that the company must avoid.

Inventory control is one of the important things of working capital in a company. Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) could be decided from the safety stock, maximum inventory, and reorder point in a company. The aim of the research was to know the number of stock and inventory cost savings. The research used EOQ method on controlling the packaging cup 240 ml and carton box to know the amount of safety stock, maximum inventory, and reorder point in PT. XYZ. The result showed that the sum of buying the material based on EOQ method in the 2015, 2016 and 2017.In the 2015 the amount f packaging cup 240ml were 1.492.031 cups, the amount f carton box were 25.164 cartons, in the 2016 the sum of packaging cup 240 ml were 1.492.084 cups, the sum of cartoon box were 24.697 cartons, while in the 2017 the sum of packaging cup were 240 cups. Using the EOQ method can be known that inventory cost savings as the result of the decreasing of the order. Safety stock were around 447.406 for a 240ml cups and 9.319 for cartons box. Maximum inventory based on EOQ method were around 992.445 for 240 ml cups and 20.549 for cartons. Reorder point based on EOQ method were around 860.066 for a 240ml cups and 17.918 for cartons. The purpose of the implementation of this research is to find the effectiveness of supplies raw materials, the method of analysis data used in the square is the smallest trend for planning raw materials and controling supplies use method of economic order quantity (EOQ) analyze reorder point. Analysis reorder point and safety stock. And analyzes efficiency cost of raw materials. Forecasting raw materials years 20x7 according to the smallest trend, cloth and dakron happened the difference is greater than of the target needed (according to a company); controling supplies raw materials with the methods eoq in 20x7 more effective than reservations raw materials cloth and dakron and more efficient than cost raw materials. The company should review the policy of forecasting raw material supplies that had been undertaken and make planning supplies the raw material that more accurate using the firm’s historical data and not only targeting the output production next year, so that machines production can be optimized. Considering the use of control supplies with the methods economic order quantity to companies, so this analysis can determine material reservations, supplies safety, maximum supplies to avoid the risk of running out of raw materials, because the companies often happened less dressed up a result of reservations that time is inaccurate, the lack of safety stock and the deferred the delivery of goods which often disturb the production process, by this method can prevent these things, so that the production process can run smoothly and minimize the cost of raw materials supplies.

            The cost of raw material inventory is a sacrifice of economic resources, measured in units of money, which have occurred or are likely to occur for raw material inventory, consisting of purchase costs, storage costs, and inventory shortage. This study aims to determine (1) Total Inventory Cost (TIC) based on RM policy. Kinamang Fuel Fish and Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method during 2017 (2) Frequency of ordering of efficient fish raw material during 2017 (3) Quantity of safety stock and when to reorder point of raw materials fish in RM. Ikan Bakar Kinamang during 2017. This research is a descriptive research with qualitative approach. And use case study method. The result of the research shows that the Cost of Fish Raw Material Supplies at Kinamang Fuel Fish Restaurant is still not economical because the purchase (order) is only based on the previous sales estimate, and does not take into account economically the expenses incurred for the purchase and storage of fish raw materials the. Precisely with the calculation of Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), the cost of raw materials inventory of fish is much less, and can determine properly and correctly about the safety stock (safety stock), and reorder (reorder point).Keywords: Inventory Cost, EOQ, Frequency, Safety Stock, ROP

Artikel membahas pengendalian persediaan crude oil di sebuah perusahaan yang mengolah crude oil menjadi produk bahan bakar minyak, non-bahan bakar minyak, dan bahan bakar khusus. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengendalikan pasokan bahan baku yang terdiri dari heavy crude dan super heavy crude guna mempertahankan kelangsungan proses pengolahan perusahaan. Metode yang digunakan adalah Economic Order Quantity (EOQ). Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan disimpulkan pemesanan bahan baku berupa crude oil yang ekonomis bagi perusahaan yaitu heavy crude sebesar 183.366 barrel dengan jumlah pemesanan dalam satu tahun sebanyak 76 kali, sehingga interval pemesanannya adalah setiap 5 hari. Super heavy crude sebesar 251.719 barrel dengan jumlah pemesanan dalam satu tahun sebanyak 104 kali, sehingga interval pemesanannya adalah setiap 4 hari. Jumlah safety stock dari heavy crude adalah sebesar 259.713 barrel, sehingga Reorder Point (ROP) dari heavy crude adalah sebesar 528.392 barrel. Super heavy crude sebesar 429.065 barrel, sehinnga Reorder Point (ROP) super heavy crude adalah sebesar 929.449 barrel.   The article discusses controlling crude oil inventories in a company that processes crude oil into fuel products, non-fuel oil, and special fuels. The purpose of this study is to control the supply of raw materials consisting of heavy crude and super heavy crude in order to maintain the continuity of the company's processing. The method used is Economic Order Quantity (EOQ). Based on the calculation results, it is concluded that the ordering of raw materials in the form of crude oil which is economical for the company is heavy crude of 183,366 barrels with the number of orders in one year as much as 76 times, so the order interval is every 5 days. Super heavy crude amounted to 251,719 barrels with the number of orders in one year as many as 104 times, so the order interval is every 4 days. The total safety stock of heavy crude is 259,713 barrels, so the Reorder Point (ROP) of heavy crude is 528,392 barrels. Super heavy crude is 429,065 barrels, so the super heavy crude Reorder Point (ROP) is 929,449 barrels.

<p><em>Inventories of raw materials are the company's current assets used for production activities at the company. Companies need to do the inventory control because it affects the smooth production process. A shortage can lead to disruption of the production process. While excess inventory can lead to waste because companies need to spend more capital for inventory costs. The purpose of this study to determine whether the PT. Djitoe Indonesia Tobacco has made raw material inventory control appropriately. Raw material inventory control methods used in this study are a min-max stock. This method determines the amount of safety stock, minimum stock, maximum stock and order quantity. After doing research, PT. Djitoe Indonesia Tobacco excess raw material inventory. Total inventories are controlled using the min-max stock produces more efficient results when compared to the amount of the final inventory of the company. With min-max method the company is able to economize IDR 700,000 for each period.</em></p>

This study aims to analyze the availability of raw materials at PT. Akasha Wira Internasional Tbk, analyzes the total cost of raw material inventories, analyzes to reorder point raw materials, analyzes the amount of safety stock of raw materials, analyzes raw material inventory control. The analytical method used is the Economic Order Quantity method, which is to find out the optimal order or purchase quantity with the aim of minimizing inventory costs consisting of ordering costs and storage costs. The results showed that the purchase of optimal ades 1500 ML label raw materials according to the Economic Order Quantity method during the 2017 period for each message was greater than what the company did. The optimal purchase of raw materials that must be done by the company in 2017 is 397 m with the frequency of ordering that must be done as much as 2 times. The safety stock quantity that must be available in the warehouse is 480.15 m and the Re Order Point according to the Economic Order Quantity is at the time of the inventory in the warehouse is 512.91 m. The total inventory cost for the production process incurred according to the Economic Order Quantity method is smaller than the total inventory cost incurred by the company. Keywords: Inventory, Raw Materials, Economic Order Quantity  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis ketersediaan bahan baku di PT. Pembelian bahan baku optimal yang harus dilakukan perusahaan pada tahun 2017 adalah sebesar 397 m dengan frekuensi pemesanan yang harus dilakukan adalah sebanyak 2 kali. Kuantitas persediaan pengaman yang harus tersedia digudang adalah sebesar 480,15 m dan titik pemesanan kembali menurut Economic Order Quantity yaitu saat persediaan digudang tinggal 512,91 m. Maka dalam proses produksi menurut EOQ lebih kecil diabnding dengan total pembiayaan dari perusahaan.  Kata Kunci :  Persediaan , Bahan Baku, Economic Order Quantity

Pizzahut Setiabudi Semarang is a middle class restaurant in Indonesia that serves pizza, pasta and also various kinds of food. The process of recording stock inventories at Pizzahut Setiabudi currently still uses manual recording on books, both incoming and outgoing materials. In addition, the procurement process for raw material stock only uses estimates, this can lead to excess stock in the warehouse or actually experience a stock shortage which can later hamper the operational process of the business. In this research, we build a raw material inventory control system to help restaurants manage material stock data using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. EOQ is a method used to optimize the purchase of raw materials that can reduce inventory costs so that the efficiency of material inventory in the company can run well.

This study aims to apply the EOQ method for planning Chitato product orders at PT. Kembar Putra Makmur. Data collection is done by interviewing. The results showed that the highest supply of Chitato 15 grams of Chitato Beef Barbeque with a purchase frequency of 20 orders in one year, with the number of orders was 4,928 boxes, the amount of Safety Stock was 3,364 boxes, and the company retured to oder (Reorder Point) when inventory reaches 4,676 boxes. Companies should use the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method, Safety Stock, and Reorder Points in processing and controlling inventory to avoid stock out. Inventories have an important role in business operations. In fact, problems in controlling inventory is the most important thing we've come across in any company. Inventories have enormous influence for a smooth production process. PT Ima Montaz Sejahtera (PT IMS) is one of the companies engaged in the manufacture beverage Bottled Drinking Water. PT IMS is distributes its products throughout NAD. The main raw material used was water purchased from PT. PIM. The company ordered a bottle of the product medium, glass cup on products, lids, labels and cartons were booked from Medan which become relationship with them. But in reality, the bottle material is not always available because raw material ordering is not efficient, thus inhibiting the production process and increase the use of cost. In the years 2015-2016 from September to August happens 18 times a monthly ordered are ordering frequency from 1 to 2 orders with the amount of raw materials that different every month. Based on preliminary research shows that ordered data in September, October, November, December, January and February each performed two times ordered, while March, April, May, June, July and August each time is 1 ordered. Additionally in 2015 there were eight times the idle time in the production department Bottleline due to the absence of Safety Stock thus automatically no production activities in the production department Bottleline to incur losses for the company. Based on this it needs to be analyzed at the company's inventory control. The results showed that the frequency of the purchasing of raw materials by using the EOQ method which is 3 times the total cost of supply of raw materials companies amounted to Rp12,041,404. Where the company must hold safety stock to expedite the process of production by the number of 407.685 bottles, with reorder point of 362.961 bottles.Keywords: Inventory, Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), Reorder Point, Safety stock

Bahan baku adalah salah satu faktor penting yang mempengaruhi keberlangsungan proses produksi. pengendalian persediaan bahan baku juga perlu dilakukan agar terhindar dari kondisi kekurangan bahan baku dan juga bahan-bahan baku yang sudah dibeli dapat dimanfaatkan semaksimal mungkin. Maka dari itu, penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu usaha-usaha terkait agar dapat menentukan persediaan bahan baku yang efektif, sehingga proses produksi dapat terus berjalan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pelaksanaan pengendalian persediaan bahan baku di PO Rosyada, menganalisis pengendalian persediaan bahan baku dengan menggunakan metode Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), menganalisis perbandingan total biaya yang dikeluarkan untuk persediaan bahan baku yang sudah dilaksanakan (sebelum metode EOQ) dan setelah menggunakan metode Economic Order Quantity (EOQ). Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Economic Order Quantity, Reorder Point, Safety Stock, dan Total Inventory Costs. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah PO Rosyada masih menggunakan metode konvensional dalam melakukan pengendalian persediaan bahan baku. Setelah melakukan pengendalian bahan baku menggunakan metode EOQ, kuantitas bahan baku yang harus dipesan yaitu 92,98 kg dengan frekuensi pemesanan sebanyak 15 kali dalam setahun. Titik pemesanan kembali yaitu ketika bahan baku tersisa 32,7 kg dengan persediaan pengamanan sebanyak 23,82 kg. Biaya yang dikeluarkan sebelum menggunakan EOQ adalah Rp 588.514, sedangkan setelah menggunakan EOQ adalah Rp 267.982. Hal ini dapat menghemat biaya persediaan hingga 54,46%.
