The article proves that the need for the development of intercultural communication skills in the learning process is due to external causes of globalization and internal requirements of the modern ethnocultural situation in Ukraine, as well as the needs of pedagogical science, which takes into account global development trends: anthropocentrism, search for value orientations and new worldview, the need for acquisition of intercultural interaction skills that ensure competitiveness in the global community. According to the author, the skills of intercultural communication of future specialists are characterized by the integrity of formation of personal qualities and abilities, the ability to switch from one culture-specific code to another, taking into account their differences, flexibly vary communication strategies and tactics, maintain a positive attitude; choice of verbal and non-verbal means. In this regard, the author proposed the idea of using Web 2.0 in the formation of intercultural communication skills. Experimental application of a special method of working with educational Internet resources based on Web 2.0 technologies was tested in the Practical English academic course. It was found that the use of Web 2.0 in the development of intercultural communication skills in the process of studying at higher educational institutions opens up a wide range of opportunities for educational practice: the use of free electronic resources used for educational purposes; independent creation of network content; interpersonal interactions of the subjects of the educational process. To analyse the results obtained and objectively consider the dynamics of changes in the level of development of intercultural communication skills, control and measuring materials selected were the assignments of the Level 6 Certificate of General Language Proficiency (CAE Advanced) and a test to determine the level of development of learning strategies - the Strategy Inventory for Language Learning (SILL) Version 7.0. It was found that the use of educational Internet resources based on Web 2.0 technologies activates the professionally significant qualities of future specialists, the ability to carry out intercultural communication, expands the horizons of the worldview and the sphere of professional activity to the maximum possible extent, professional mobility, which is a condition and basis of professionalism and mastery. The proposed methods, techniques and technologies can be used regardless of the foreign language and have transnational significance.

Teaching foreign languages takes one of the most important places in educational process in Kazakhstan. Nowadays learning foreign language in higher educational institutions is connected with educational aims and wide range of business and cultural communication with foreign countries. Communication in foreign language using appropriate style in definite fields or various situations may vary according to the time and may be considered as an object in scientific project. It is necessary to mention that results of such research are extremely important for development of relations, effectiveness of communication, and achievement of communication goals in professional activity by modern learners. The purpose of study is the selection of educational materials and using them in teaching foreign language, taking into account verbal and non-verbal communicative means which have effect on communication process. Methods used in this study are studying psychological basis of the processes which take place in foreign language communication; eliciting methodically relevant similarities and differences in verbal and non-verbal means of native and foreign languages. Our study has found out that it is very important to create new behavioral ways and eliminate discrepancy of existing behavioral norms by using elicited methodically relevant similarities and differences in verbal and non-verbal means in native and foreign languages. We have been selecting verbal and non-verbal communication means. Then we contrasted them in different situations using various types of means in dialogues and monologues performed by students of our university. We have divided students into two groups: treatment and control. In the result of practical study, the researchers could found out that students who are less aware of using and expressing communication means, make more common mistakes in speech or can even offend other speaker unwillingly. This study could be used in development of communicative competences by using non-verbal means. It will help people to avoid the situations like culture clash or misunderstanding between specific cultural behaviour. Scientific outcomes are good practical examples for teaching foreign language in linguistic institutions. Keywords: Development of communicative competence; ; Higher educational institutions; Teaching foreign language; Verbal and non-verbal communication mean

Abstract The paper deals with one of modern effective pedagogical technologies in relation to management of the educational process with students of higher educational institutions. The authors discuss the concept of virtual excursion, formulate its advantages over traditional technologies, clarify the principles of modern pedagogical activity through a virtual excursion for the teachers and students. The paper presents one of the lecture plans devoted to a virtual tour using Internet resources. Relying on live resources, the authors argue that a virtual excursion brings students closer to their professional tasks, teach them to associate theoretical material with practice. As for an instructor, the effective use of modern innovative, computer training technology can improve the efficiency of teaching different subjects, streamline learning activities, optimize the processes of understanding and memorizing learning material.

Purpose: to reveal the peculiarities of teaching students of higher educational institutions of specializations of sports games and martial arts ski training. Material and methods. To solve the set tasks, we conducted a study in the 2020/2021 academic year with students of the Kharkiv State Academy of Physical Culture in the amount of 45 people, aged 18-20 years, for three weeks. Students were taught skiing techniques both according to the traditional system (control group) and according to the methodology developed by us (experimental groups). The time for learning the technique of skiing in both groups was the same 15 classes of classical style and 15 classes of skating style for 90 minutes each (according to the work program of the discipline), but the teaching methods in the experimental groups differed. The following methods were used during the research: theoretical analysis and generalization of scientific and methodological literature sources, working curricula and practical experience of teachers; analysis of information on the Internet; pedagogical observations; method of expert assessments; pedagogical experiment; methods of mathematical statistics. Results: as a result of the study, it was found that students of the experimental group (E1) received significantly better scores than the control group for performing the technique of movement in the classical style, the average score - 6.30, and the control group - 5.68 points (t=3,6; p<0,01), for performing the technique of skating style score (E1) was 6.18 points, and the control group – 5,25 points (t=5,2; p<0,01). Students of the experimental group (E2) for performing the technique of classical movement style received an average score of 5.93, compared with the control group - 5.68 points, no significant difference was found (p>0,05), the average score of the group (E2) for performing skating style was 5.90 points, and the control group – 5,25 points, which is significantly better (t=3,8; p<0,01). Conclusions. The use of different teaching methods, taking into account sports specializations, as well as the development of leading motor skills, has improved the learning outcomes of students of higher education specializations in sports games and martial arts ski training. As a result of the use of simulation and special training exercises without skis and on skis at the beginning of classes on the technique of classical and skating skiing, students of the group significantly improved the mastery of ski training on all indicators (p<0,01–0,05). One of the modern trends in both formal and corporate education is microlearning which involves using short videos in educational process. Microlearning has a variety of advantages including that this approach is more student-oriented, aimed at increasing the level of mastering knowledge, requires less time spent by students for learning, gives a possibility to study at any time and anywhere using own devices, increases motivation etc. The article deals with methodological aspects of creating educational video materials taking into account psychological peculiarities and learning habits of modern students. Video materials belong to the most powerful tools in educational process as they provide students with the possibility of simultaneous perception of auditory and visual information. Video materials must be strictly structured and involve students into learning process, in particular they could be included into different sources of electronic learning courses (ELC). There are different types of videos that are used in ELC such as introductory video, video lectures, video tutorials, additional video materials, interactive video. In spite of content variety all video materials undergo the same procedure of creation including dividing material into logically finished parts, notions definition, writing content questions, components structuring etc. Recording of a video must be a thoroughly planned process to ensure high quality of outcoming product. The article also deals with peculiarities of webinars as one of the possibilities of using video materials in educational process of higher educational institutions. Different types of webinars are analysed including tutorial webinar, lecture webinar, practical webinar. The article also deals with peculiarities of webinars as one of the possibilities of using video materials in educational process of higher educational institutions. Different types of webinars are analysed including tutorial webinar, lecture webinar, practical webinar. A comparative analysis of different webinar-oriented platforms has also been made.
