The research aims to analyze the financial conditions to assess financial health at a manufacturing company in Indonesia Stock Exchange Listings. The benefits of the research is to provide material information to management and stakeholders regarding financial health as a material consideration for management or other parties, such as investors and potential investors, creditors and other parties for decision making. The population of the research was the financial report of a manufacturing company in Indonesia stock exchange listing as many as 140 companies. Sample research is as many as 30 companies. Opersionalisasi research is variable: the ratio of working capital to Total Assets, the ratio of net income to Total Assets was detained, the ratio of EBIT to Total Assets, and the ratio of the value of the capital markets themselves by taking action against Total Debt in 2009-2011. The required data are secondary data collected through technical documentation, data analysis techniques used are descriptive method. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that corporate financial kondish manufacturing Indonesia stock exchange listings are rated from financial ratios, that ratio analysis is not membarikan a clear picture to stakeholders about health conditions and symptoms of the bankruptcy of the company. The listhne manufacturing company in BEI has not used the Z-Score model to know their financial health. Sporting results results of the discriminant equation obtained data 0, 553X1 0, 507X2 0, 409X3 0, 009X4. The value of the discriminant tells us that the ratio of working capital to Total Assets, the ratio of net income to Total Assets was detained, the ratio of EBIT to Total Assets and the ratio of the value of Own capital market Debt to Total positive effect of bankruptcy prediction manufacturing company listed in the stock exchange Inonesia. Wilks Lambda test results show that the ratio of working capital to Total Assets Ratio Return on hold, with a Total Assets, the ratio of EBIT to Total assets and market value of private equity with Total debt, significant positive effect on the symptoms of a manufacturing company in bankruptcy listings in Indonesia stock exchange. The z-score of 2009 indicates that its financial condition healthy companies as much as 22 companies and there are 8 companies in financial distress, indicating conditions are forecast to be bankrupt. In 2010, there were 21 companies that have a healthy financial condition while nine companies in In 2011, there are 24 companies that have a healthy financial condition while 6 company again in conditions of financial distress which indicates the forecast will go bankrupt. The advice given as consideration to the company is the company should implement a Z-Score method for knowing the financial condition, whether in financial distress or in kodisi healthy so that management and the users of the financial statements and other information to assess and predict the likelihood of the presence of symptoms of the bankruptcy of the company

This study was conducted to investigate Financial Distress in mining companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) during the 2011-2014 period using the Altman Z-Score Modification. Total sample that gathered from mining companies is 119 companies, analytical techniques used in this study is the Altman Z-score that consists of four ratios, which are the Net Working Capital to Total Assets (X1), Retained Earnings to Total Assets (X2), Earnings Before Interest and Tax to Total asset (X3), Market Value of Equity to Book Value of Debt (X4.). This test used SPSS 22 to test the hypothesis, the hypothesis testing results are: Net Working Capital to Total Assets has a positive effect on Financial Distress, Retained Earnings to Total Assets has a positive effect on Financial Distress, Earnings Before Interest and Tax to Total Assets has a positive effect on Financial Distress, Book Value of Equity to Total Liabilities has a positive effect on Financial Distress. This study only used mining companies sector, the further research is recommended to use the other sector companies that have larger numbers of samples.

This study aims to analyze the Level of Financial Soundness on Financial Performance in Cement Companies that are Go Public Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). Analysis of the level of financial health using the Altman Z-Score with several ratios, namely the ratio of Working Capital to Total Assets (X1), the ratio of retained earnings to total assets (X2), the ratio of EBIT to Total Assets (X3), the ratio of stock market value to book value ofabilities (X4), the ratio of Sales to Total Assets (X5) to the dependent variable on Financial Performance (Return on Assets). The data analysis technique used in this research is the Altman Z-Score with the criteria for bankruptcy and to find its effect with the panel data regression model assisted by E-Views software. The results of the calculation and analysis of the Z-Score criteria in cement companies in Indonesia, it is known that there is no cement company whose company finances are stated in a healthy condition. One company is prone to bankruptcy (gray zone) while the rest according to the Z-Score criteria are bankrupt. Furthermore, based on the panel data regression examiner simultaneously the five independent variables on financial performance (Y), while partially the working capital ratio to total assets (X1) affects financial performance (Y), the retained earnings ratio to total assets (X2) has no effect on Financial performance (Y), EBIT ratio to total assets (X3) affects financial performance (Y), stock market value ratio to book value of liabilities (X4) has no effect on financial performance (Y), Sales to Total Assets ratio (X5) affect financial performance.

This research aims to figure out the level of companies bankruptcy by applying Altman Z-Score at the manufacturing companies registered in the Indonesia Stocks Exchange. The result of the research has indicated that ZScore model is applicable to detect the company’s potential bankruptcy issues, especially manufacturing company subsectors of cosmetics and houseappliances. Altman Z-Score model has classified the companies into three categories; safe, grey area and distress. Based on the result of the research, for the companies which are in the grey area category are suggested to improve their financial performance and to use the benefit of all the assets properly to get the revenue as much as possible. However, for the companies which are in the safe category are suggested to increase their performance, especially marketing performance so that they will receive bigger amount of the revenue, nevertheless, the potential of financial distress can be minimized accordingly. Some cases of financial fraud invite inquiries about the effectiveness of corporategovernance mechanism in financial distress companies. This study empiricallyexamines whether the financial distress moderate the impact of corporate governancemechanism to earnings management. The sample of this study is manufacturingcompanies listed at Indonesia Stock Exchange for period 2010 -2012. Discretionaryaccruals are used as a proxy for earnings management, while financially distressed andnon-distressed firms are identified based on Altman Z-score test. Corporate governancemechanism is measured by four characteristics of the audit committee, i.e. size (totalnumber of audit committee members), independence (audit committee composition),activity(frequency of audit committee meeting), and expertise (the number of auditcommittee have finance or accounting background).This study finds that (1) financialdistress does not moderate the impact of total members of audit committee to earningsmanagement; (2) financial distress does not moderate the impact of frequency of auditcommittee meeting to earnings management; (3) financial distress does not moderatethe impact of audit committee composition to earnings management; (4)financialdistress moderates the impact of audit committee finance/accounting knowledge toearnings management. These results suggestthat the effectiveness corporate governanceis low, and finance/accounting literacy of audit committee should be alert.Beberapa kasus manipulasi keuangan pada perusahaan yang mengalami kesulitankeuangan mengundang pertanyaan terkait efektifitas mekanisme tata kelola perusahaan.Penelitian ini secara empiris menguji apakah kondisi kesulitan keuangan dapatmemoderasi pengaruh mekanisme tata kelola perusahaan terhadap manajemen laba.Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah perusahaan sektor manufaktur yang terdaftar di BursaEfek Indonesia periode 2010-2012.Discretionary accruals digunakan sebagai proksiuntuk manajemen laba, sedangkan kondisi kesulitan keuangan diidentifikasimenggunakan uji Altman Z-score. Mekanisme tata kelola perusahaan diukur dengan 4karakteristik komite audit, yaitu ukuran (jumlah anggota komite audit), independensi(komposisi komite audit), aktivitas (frekuensi pertemuan komite audit), dan keahlian(jumlah anggota komite audit yang memiliki latar belakang keuangan atau akuntansi).Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa (1) kondisi kesulitan keuangan tidak memoderasipengaruh jumlah anggota komite audit terhadap manajemen laba; (2) kondisi kesulitankeuangan tidak memoderasi pengaruh frekuensi pertemuan komite audit terhadapmanajemen laba; (3) kondisi kesulitan keuangan tidak memoderasi pengaruh komposisikomite audit terhadap manajemen laba; (4) kondisi kesulitan keuangan memoderasi pengaruh jumlah anggota komite audit yang memiliki latar belakang keuangan atauakuntansi terhadap manajemen laba. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa efektifitas tatakelola perusahaan masih rendah dan anggota komite audit yang memiliki latar belakangkeuangan atau akuntansi harus mewaspadainya.

ABSTRACTOil palm companies are one of the sectors that have an impact on the economy. Indonesia has a climate that is very suitable for planting oil palm. The company's goal is to make a profit. Then the company will improve its financial performance in order to achieve its goals. Basically, the goal of the company is to be able to increase the company's profitability. The company's profitability will reflect a company's financial condition, and illustrate the effectiveness and efficiency of the company in managing its operations. The purpose of this study is to determine the significant effect of leverage, liquidity, working capital turnover, and inflation that affect the profitability of oil palm companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2015-2018 period with a large sample of 11 companies. The results of the study with panel data analysis using the E-views 9 application. The data collection method used a secondary data source in the form of an annual financial report document. Based on the research results, it is found that simultaneously leverage, liquidity, working capital turnover, inflation have an effect on profitability. Partially leverage, liquidity has a positive effect on profitability, and working capital turnover, inflation has no effect on profitability.

Corona Virus Pandemic affected the world economy, including Indonesia. Many companies are out of business due to this pandemic.With the background of the conditions mentioned above, the researchers are interested in examining more deeply the variables that determine the level of financial distress and at the same time the financial health of the company. Furthermore, the variables that are used as independent variables and are thought to affect the company's financial performance are capital structure, ownership structure and company characteristics. In assessing financial performance, the Altman Z Score model is used and then to see the impact of the variables that are thought to affect the company's financial performance.The research model used is the Logistic Regression equation.Population and sample are taken from financial data of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Data is taken manually on the website: www.idx.co.id. And the period in this study was taken from 2015-2019. The test results prove that the Capital Structure and Ownership Structure are factors that have a significant influence on the Company's Financial Distress and Financial Health. ABSTRAK Pandemi Virus Corona berimbas pada perekonomian dunia tidak terkecuali pada perekonomian di Indonesia. Banyak perusahaan yang gulung tikar akibat pandemik ini. Dengan berlatar belakang kondisi tersebut diatas maka peneliti tertarik untuk mengkaji lebih dalam menentukkan variabel yang sangat menentukan tingkat Financial Distress dan sekaligus financial health (Kinerja Keuangan) perusahaan. Selanjutnya variabel yang di jadikan variabel independen dan di duga berpengaruh terhadap kinerja keuangan perusahaan adalah struktur modal, struktur kepemilikkan dan Kharakteristik Perusahaan. Dalam menilai kinerja keuangan maka digunakan model Altman Z Score dan selanjutnya untuk melihat dampak variabel yang di duga berpengaruh terhadap kinerja keuangan perusahaan. Model penelitian yang di pakai adalah persamaan Logistic Regression. Model ini kemudian akan di lakukan uji T , Uji F dan Uji Asumsi Klasik sebelum di gunakan dalam melihat signifikasi variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen. Populasi dan sampel diambil dari data keuangan perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Data diambil secara manual di website: www.idx.co.id. Periode pada penelitian ini diambilkan data dari tahun 2015-2019. Hasil Pengujian membuktikan bahwa Struktur Modal dan Struktur Kepemilikkan adalah faktor yang sangat berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Financial Distress dan Financial Health Perusahaan.

This study examined the effect leverage on corporate financial distress of quoted manufacturing firms in Nigeria. The objective is to examine if financial leverage have any effect on financial distress of the Nigeria firms. Cross sectional data was sourced from financial statement of ten quoted manufacturing firms. Z-Score and Changes in operating profits was proxy for corporate financial distress while debt equity ratio, short, long term debt and total debt to total assets were proxy for leverage. After cross examination of the validity of the pooled effect, fixed effect and the random effect, the study accepts the fixed effect model.  Findings reveal that financial leverage have positive effect on financial distress measured by the z-score while total debt ratio and debt equity ratio have positive effect on financial distress measured by changes on operating profits while  short term debt and long term debt have negative effect on operating profits. From the regression summary, the study concludes that leverage have significant effect on corporate financial distress. We recommend that Financial structure of the manufacturing firms ought to be adequately planned to safeguard the interest of the equity holders, shareholders and financial requirements of the firm and the firms should formulate policies of increasing its equity capital as oppose to debt and that Implementable investment policies should be formulated and the business environment should be well examined. Recognizing faults of investment might be paramount to develop the business’s financial performance, since it specifies the loopholes which corrective decision can be applied.

This study aims to observe the financial distress assessment for pharmaceutical companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange using the Altman Z-Score model. The sample is selected using purposive sampling method. Ten pharmaceutical companies were selected with the criteria listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) and regularly published financial reports in 2013 until 2015. Secondary data was derived from www.idx.co.id site.  The results indicate that the Altman Z-Score model can be implemented in detecting the possibility of financial distress in the pharmaceutical company. Working capital to total assets and book value equity to book value of total debt are two determinant variables which is determining the decrease in Z-score value in this research.  One from ten companies have the lowest value of the Z-Score and experiencing financial distress. For two years, the company is in distress zones but in the third year, the company is managed to increase the value of the company and included in the gray zones. This company must continue to strive in order to stabilize the company's financial and asset utilization to obtain maximum profit, and until it was declared as a healthy company.

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of total debt, working capital, and sales on net income. The object of this study is a company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2013-2017 period. The data retrieval technique used in this study is the purpose sampling method, which is based on the specified criteria. Data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression analysis method with analysis software Eviews 8.0. The findings are: (1) F test (simultaneous) in this study shows that total debt, working capital, and sales have a significant effect on net income, (2) T (partial) test in this study shows that total debt and sales have no effect significant to net income, while working capital has a significant effect on firm value. In the activities of a company, the main problem is working capital. Working capital is the capital used to run a company’s operations. Because without sufficient working capital, the company will experience a financial crisis and the most worrying is bankruptcy. This research aims to knowing the effect of working capital on sales and net income in the Food and Beverages sub-sector companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange 2013-2017. The type of data used is secondary data, that is about financial statements. Sampling technique used purposive sampling as much 12 company’s. All data analyzed with classic assumption test, simple linear regression analysis, t test, determination coefficient. Research result indicate with significant level 0.05 that working capital has a positive effect on sales and net income.   Keyword : Working Capital, Sales, Net Income
