<p class="apa">This research aims to 1) study the present conditions and desirable condition of the motivation systems as well as how to find methods for motivating the performance of teachers in primary schools, 2) develop a motivation system for the performance of teachers in primary schools, 3) study the effects of using the motivation system for compliance with work of the teachers in primary schools by using research and development process. The research was consisted of three phases: Phase 1 the study of current conditions and desirable conditions of motivation system and methods for motivating the performance of teachers in the schools under the Office of Basic Education. Questionnaires were used to collect data from the sample which was consisted of 1,016 school administrators and teachers. Phase 2 development of motivation system for the performance of teachers in primary schools. The system was later validated by nine experts. Phase 3 results of the study on motivation system after implementation in a primary school. Data was collected from eight school administrators and teachers. Instruments in collecting data were: 1) questionnaire, 2) semi-structured interviews,3) evaluate form of operational level, 4) evaluation form of satisfaction. Statistical used in data analysis were percentage and standard deviation.</p><p class="apa">The results showed that: 1) the current conditions of the motivation system for the performance of teachers by the input factor was at a moderate level, by the process factor was at a high level, and by the output factor was at a moderate level. As the desirable conditions, all three factors were at the highest level. 2) The motivation system for the performance of teachers in primary schools that the researchers have developed consists of six sub-systems, including: work-based motivation, award-based motivation, good communication, creating organizational relationship, environment in the workplace, workplace fairness. The input factors included: administrators, teachers, materials, and technology. Output included work performance standard and personal performance standard. 3) Results after the implementation of the system revealed that the teachers were motivated to perform at a high level and their preference for a motivation system was also at a high level.</p>

The number of workloads borne by the teacher will result a negative impact. An organizational climate is crucial because it can generate a comfortable working condition for teachers. Otherwise, an unfavorable organizational climate can impact poor working conditions that affect teachers to experience job Anxiety. This study aimed to determine the effect of workload and organizational climate on the work Anxiety of primary school teachers in Coimbatore. In this study an attempts has been made to find out the relationship between organizational climate and job anxiety of primary school teachers. The sample consisted of 60 teachers selected randomly from various public and private primary schools. A set of tools containing organizational climate and job anxiety was used to gather information. The data were analyzed by t-test and person’s coefficient correlation. The results revealed that (43.3%) of the respondents are moderate level of organizational climate, (40%) of the respondents are good level of organizational climate and (16.7%) of the respondents are poor level of organizational climate and (43.3%) of the respondents are low level of job anxiety, (40%) of the respondents are moderate level of job anxiety and (17%) of the respondents are high level of job anxiety.

This study was conducted to examine the work motivation levels of primary school teachers working in primary school institutions located in Istanbul province, Kucukcekmece district. The descriptive survey model was used in this study. The population of the study consists of primary school teachers and primary school administrators working in state primary school institutions that are affiliated to the Ministry of National Education in Kucukcekmece district. The sample of the study consisted of 343 primary school teachers and 28 primary school administrators that were selected using the disproportionate element sampling method from 14 state primary schools among the primary school institutions located in Kucukcekmece district. The “Work Motivation Scale” was used in order to collect data in the study. The Cronbach’s alpha reliability coefficient of the work motivation scale was calculated as 0.897 in this study. SPSS 20.0 package software was used in the study. The average of the scores obtained by primary school teachers from the work motivation scale is = 41.84, and the standard deviation is 10.32. The scores that can be obtained from the scale are between 18 and 90. Accordingly, scores between 18 and 42 were interpreted as the low level of motivation, scores between 43 and 66 were interpreted as the intermediate level of motivation, and scores between 67 and 90 were interpreted as the high level of motivation. In general, it can be said that the work motivation of primary school teachers is low. The average work motivation scores do not vary by gender, age and marital status.

The purpose of this research was to propose a model of activity development to promote students’ morality in primary schools under the Office of Primary Education Service Areas. Mixed methods research was used for the research design. The target group were 17 key informants and 24 school administrators whereas 400 school teachers were used for data collection. Content analysis was used for qualitative analysis, and quantitative data were analyzed by using percentage statistics, frequency, mean, and standard deviation. Results showed that students’ morality was developed through 5 aspects consisted of 1) Sufficiency, 2) Gratitude, 3) Integrity, 4) Responsibility, and 5) Moral ideology, and analyzed results were shown at a high level in all aspects. A model of activity development to promote students’ morality in primary schools composed of 1) Curriculum, 2) Learning objectives, 3) Teaching plan preparation, 4) Teaching and learning activities, and 5) Assessment. The developed model focused on 4 important aspects which were 1) Ethic, promote 5 virtues for students, which are sufficiency, gratitude, integrity, accountability, and moral ideology by using the model to develop activities to promote morality of students. 2) Activity Development, it was focused on teaching and learning activities, including curriculum, learning objectives, teaching plans, teaching and learning activities, and assessment. 3) Support, support the development of activities to promote morality of students under cooperation between administrators, teachers, school board members, monks, parents, and communities. 4) Students, students will receive the most from the activity development promote the morality.

The main purpose of this study is to examine the effect of emotional quotient on work performance, and the effect of spiritual quotient on work performance at BPMPPT of Jambi City. Using 68 employees as respondent, the data were collected by distributing questionnaire and analyzed by using partial least squares path modeling (PLS-SEM). The results of the analysis show that overall emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence employee BPMPPT Jambi city is at a high level of quotient. While employee performance BPMPPT Jambi city is at a level of performance was enough. The statistical analysis shows that partially and simultantly emotional quotient and spiritual quotient has significant and positive effect on employee performance. The current study aimed to identify the levels of burnout among staff in care institutions for juvenile delinquents in Jordan, and how different these levels, based on the variables of academic qualifications, years of experience, and marital status. The sample consisted of (107) staff. Maslach Burnout Scale used in this study. The results showed high level of emotional exhaustion and depersonalization, and moderate level of lack of sense of accomplishment among participants.Level of emotional exhaustion varied according to academic qualifications: holders of secondary or below and university qualification holders, the results were in favor of holders of secondary or below, while no statistically significant differences shown in apathy and lack of sense of accomplishment and the total degreeBurnout Scale. The results indicated no differences in the three main levels and the total degreeofBurnout Scale based on the various levels of years of experience and marital status.

Arts programs are increasingly recognized for their role in promoting student development and cohesive school communities. Yet, most Australian schools are left to navigate a landscape characterized by shifting policy goals and external providers of diverse quality and intent. Drawing on interviews with 27 stakeholders from 19 Catholic primary schools in Melbourne, Australia, we explored key approaches to arts provision in this context, and conditions that hinder and support it. Approaches varied markedly, from school-wide programs embedded across the curriculum, to one-off incursions. Conditions consistently affecting provision ranged from leadership support to a community’s view of the arts. Programs regularly relied on individuals passionate about arts to go beyond their paid roles, yet this frequently jeopardized sustainability. Overall, the approaches identified, and conditions affecting their sustainability, reveal a lack of value for school arts at policy and administration levels. This lack of value is not demonstrated in the provision of other traditional school activities like math or literacy, which begs consideration by policymakers and school administrators.

The purpose of this study is to develop a reliable and valid measurement tool to explore views about organisational justice in schools and to examine teachers' and school administrators' views about organisational justice in primary schools. The sample of the study consisted of a total of 455 participants, 176 school administrators and 279 teachers from the primary schools in the Centre of Van. The Organisational Justice Scale, developed by the authors, was employed as data gathering tool. Principal Component Factor Analysis was used to determine the content and construct validities of the scale and Confirmatory Factor Analysis was employed to evaluate the obtained results. As a result of the study, the developed Organisational Justice Scale (OJS) was found to be a valid and reliable measurement tool for school applications.

SummaryThe study assessed adoption of rice post-harvest technologies among smallholder farmers in Osun State, Nigeria. Data were collected from 120 respondents through a structured interview schedule using a multistage sampling procedure. Percentages, means, Chi-square and correlation were used to analyse the data and draw inferences. The results show that about 52.5% of the respondents had favourable perception, while 47.5% had unfavourable perception towards adoption of the rice post-harvest technologies. Rice milling (mean=4.54) and harvesting matured panicles at the right time (mean=4.47) ranked highest among the adopted post-harvest technologies, while majority (65%) of the respondents adopted the rice post-harvest technologies at moderate level and 35% had high level of adoption. Inadequate capital (mean=1.75) and poor extension contacts (mean=1.67) were the major constraints associated with the adoption. Also, there was significant association between sex (χ2= 38.174), marital status (χ2=32.85) and adoption of the rice post-harvest technologies, while age (r=-0.531), household size (r=0.414) and the quantity of rice produced (r=0.345) had significant relationship with adoption of the post-harvest rice technologies. There was moderate level of adoption among the farmers. Financial institutions, governments and non-governmental organisations should provide functional credit facilities and government should employ more extension agents to promote adoption of high-quality enhancing post-harvest technologies for sustainable rice production in Nigeria.

The study aims to identify Higher Education students' level of language anxiety in the classroom. Moreover, the study also investigated the Higher Education Institute students' level of anxiety in each of the components in English language. 236 students from a Higher Education Institute participated in this study. The quantitative method has been used in this study and a set of questionnaire was adapted from FLCAS that was developed by Horwitz et al. (1986). For the finding, the study found that Higher Education Institute students have moderate level of language anxiety. Therefore, the study also revealed that the Higher Education Institute students have a moderate level of language anxiety in the test anxiety component and fear of negative evaluation component. On the other hand, Higher Education Institute students' have a high level of language anxiety in the communication apprehension component. The current study could help future educators to acknowledge more on language anxiety and help educators to find a good solution for these students.
