Study of steepening, flattening, clockwise, and counter-clockwise torque effect is indispensable to understand and design surgical induced astigmatism calculator. Hence, in this study by constructing a novel Microsoft Office Excel 2007 based astigmatic calculator following cataract surgery, analysis on the accuracy and predictability evaluated for the performance. Post-cataract surgery patients from May 2019 to January 2020 at a tertiary medical institution recruited for this present study. Based on Pythagoras principle, MS Excel calculator designed and the law of cousins for calculating the vector magnitude and axis respectively. Manual keratometry measurements for pre and postoperative horizontal (Kh) and vertical (Kv) curvatures established, and statistical analysis for the resultant SIA magnitude and axis deduced with Medcalc software comparing with the existing SIA 2.1 version calculator. A total of 29 eyes of 25 patients studied with a mean age of 62.55 (±8.08) years, males contributing to 14 (56%), and right laterally in 17 (58%) eyes. MS Excel and SIA 2.1 versions calculated a mean SIA magnitude of 0.66 (±0.47) D and 0.64 (±0.55) D respectively. Pearson coefficient correlation (r=-0.16, p=0.40), paired-two sample test (t value= 0.11, p= 0.91) and ROC curve analysis (AUC = 0.75, p= 0.34, 95% CI= 0.25 to 0.99) calculated. Regression equation (y = 0.75 + -0.14 x) and limits of agreements (95% CI -0.29 to 0.31) analyzed, and, 95% of data points distributed within ±1.96 SD of the line of equality on Bland-Altman difference plots.The present calculator proclaimed an acceptable accuracy and agreement with a prediction of 0.61 Diopter for every unit change in the magnitude of SIA 2.1 software in addition to consideration of interchangeability.

In Hard Disk Drive (HDD) manufacturing, there is always a concern about the cutting defects that are caused by residual cutting chips. Only a small amount of 10 μm chips (act as the air gap) can cause the workpiece to tilt and shift from the correct position, and thus affect the dimension of the workpiece (mainly the Base HDD). For this reason, researchers adapted the adjustable micrometer as a simulation device that resembles the air gap for the design of the Air Gap Sensor Module. The design of experiments using response surface methodology will be studied to confirm the appropriate factors of the prototype. This study reports the optimization of the main factors that affect Air Gap Sensor Module condition: Air Nozzle Diameter 2.303 mm, Air Pressure 0.1 MPa, and Sampling Time 645 ms, which has a high square of the coefficient correlation (R-squared = 99.0%) with a close relationship between gap distance and air pressure. The relationship between these variables is mostly linear. The R-squared error percentage of actual value is less than 0.93% compared to predicted value. The mathematical model results and experimental values were consistent and able to predict response variables. The Air Gap Sensor Module can provide the measurement results in micron ccuracy and displays light and beep to confirm as acceptable or reject gap conditions with the uncertainty of measurement ± 0.001 mm.

Abstract BackgroundThis study aims to evaluate the relationship between D-dimer and dyslipidemia, especially triglyceride to HDL-C ratio (TG/HDL-C) in different types of pancreatitis. We analyzed the D-dimer and dyslipidemia levels in acute pancreatitis (AP), recurrent acute pancreatitis (RAP) and chronic pancreatitis (CP). Material and MethodsA single-centered retrospective study was conducted on 1013 patients diagnosed with AP, RAP or CP. Only patients hospitalized within 24 h of onset were included, and 204 patients were enrolled in pancreatitis groups. 68 normal persons without pancreatitis, malignant diseases, pregnancy, or organ failure, who had health check-ups, were enrolled in the control group. Blood samples were taken within 24h of admission. The epidemiology and etiology were analyzed. D-dimer and dyslipidemia levels were compared between different types of pancreatitis. Furthermore, the area under the receiver-operating characteristic curve (AUC) was used to estimate the validity of the predictor and to define optimal cut-off points for prediction.ResultsWe found that D-dimer and TG/HDL-C ratio could distinguish mild AP (MAP) and non-MAP in AP and RAP patients. The D-dimer level was related to TG/HDL-C ratio and severity of pancreatitis, with the coefficient correlation of 0.379 and 0.427(p<0.01), respectively. TG/HDL-C was related to D-dimer in different types of pancreatitis. Multivariate analysis was conducted in the parameters at admission like alcohol abuse, dyslipidemia and coagulation disturbance in distinguishing AP and RAP groups from the control group, and the parameter like diabetes in RAP and CP groups significantly increased compared with that of the control group. ConclusionsThe value of D-dimer level and TG/HDL-C ratio in predicting the severity of AP and RAP was confirmed but there was no significant difference between CP group and the control group. The D-dimer level was related to dyslipidemia and TG/HDL-C ratio.

Background: Cytomegalovirus (CMV) is a human herpesvirus common in people with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). In a patient with immunocompetence, long periodic asymptomatic CMV might affect to develop the abnormal liver function and contribute to non-AIDS defining morbidity, including chronic liver disease. This study aims to know the prevalence of liver fibrosis and steatosis in virally suppressed HIV infected patients with CMV reactive and summarize the correlation of clinical presentation with liver fibrosis and steatosis in these subjects.Method: A cross-sectional study in HIV Integrated Care Unit, Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital, was conducted from April 2019 until June 2020. Subjects enrolled in this study were suppressed HIV patients aged between 30-40 years with positive IgG CMV and already using stable ART for at least one year. Transient elastography measured the liver stiffness. Patients with liver stiffness above 7 kPa were defined as having significant liver fibrosis. In addition, Spearman correlation was conducted to evaluate the correlation of clinical presentation of subjects related to liver fibrosis and steatosis. Results: A total of subjects was included in this study. Dominantly male (62.5%) with average age 38 ± 4.68 years. The median amount of CMV DNA was 466 (17-21284) copy/ml. Significant Fibrosis was found in 17/80 (21%) subjects. In this study, clinical parameters correlated with liver fibrosis were insulin, glucose fasting, Homa IR, triglyceride, HDL, and platelet. A medium positive correlation was found in insulin, and Homa IR, with coefficient correlation for insulin, was r = 0.475, p 0.001; and coefficient correlation for Homa IR was r = 0 .487, p 0.001.Conclusion: The prevalence of liver fibrosis was 12% in these subjects. In addition, insulin and Homa IR had a positive correlation with increasing liver fibrosis.

This research explains about Indonesian labor competitiveness from perspective of the 5th pillar GCI (education and training). The purpose is to (1) measure the readiness of Indonesian labor at the ASEAN level and (2) ana-lyzed relationship between GCI and HDI. This research was using descriptive and inferential analysis. The re-sults show Indonesia is in fourth place in ASEAN. Coefficient correlation between the 5th pillar of CGI and HDI is 0.874. This explain the quality of human development is strongly related to global competitiveness. It can be interpreted that increasing human resources will also have positive impact on global competitiveness trough improving education.

The problem with this study is low mathematics learning outcomes of students. This study aimed to determine a relationship between learning extrinsic motivation and mathematics learning outcomes, relationship between learning discipline and mathematics learning outcomes, and relationshiop between learning extrinsic motivation and learning discipline to mathematics learning outcomes of students. This type of research is quantitative by an ex-postfacto correlation research method. The population in this study is 55 students. Sample retrieval techniques used a total sampling. Data collection techniques was used in the form of questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques using statistical tests of multiple correlation. Research shows that there is a significant reationship between learning extrinsic motivation and learning discipline with the mathematics learning outcomes of students grade V with a coefficient correlation of 0,501 positive with “moderate” criteria.

Density is among the key properties of liquid food media, affecting homogenisation and dispersion. The work aimed to study the temperature effect on fruit puree density, determine temperature constants and grade purees by density. The study included apple, pear and cherry plum purees. Pycnometric densities were measured at 20, 30, 40 and 50ºC temperatures. Different media were shown to vary in the density reduction rate at increasing measurement temperatures. The correlation coefficient was strongly dependent on the reference (baseline) density and extremely — on temperature coefficient. Correlation dynamics modelling of elevating temperature revealed the slope vs. temperature coefficient pairwise correlation to monotonously increase starting from very high baseline values of >0.999. The relative slope vs. baseline density pairwise correlation coefficient decreased monotonously from 0.9032. It was additionally found that the media density grading is temperature-dependent. Thus, the descending series was pear–apple–cherry plum at 0–+24.68ºC, pear–cherry plum–apple at +24.68–+84.34ºC, cherry plum–pear–apple at +84.34–+174.31ºC and cherry plum–apple–pear at ≥+174.31ºC. For three study media, the number of temperature ranges inducing puree density gradients was 4. This approach to study thermal impact on the density of food fluids is generally acknowledged and can be successfully applied in the areas, where physical density and its comparative assessment are substantive.

This research was conducted to determine the awareness level of the students’ at the Universityof Malaya (UM) towards gender equality in achieving SDG5. A set of survey questionnaire established onKnowledge, Attitude, and Practices (KAP) was distributed through an online Google survey form to allUM students’, and 123 responses were collected to evaluate the awareness level (95% confidenceinterval with ± 5% margin of error). Data analysis was conducted through SPSS software. The resultsrevealed that the respondents have a higher knowledge level with lower attitude and practices levels.Spearman’s Rho coefficient correlation was used to evaluate the relationship level within variables(between knowledge and practices and attitude and practices). An objective hemodynamic assessment is mandatory to confirm Critical Limb Ischemia (CLI). Toe pressure measurement is recommended. We compared toe measurements obtained using the Laser Doppler method (LD) (PERIMED PeriFlux, Sweden) considered as the reference test, with those obtained with a portable device using photoplethysmography (PPG) (Sys Toe Atys Medical, France). A total of 93 (123 legs) patients from 3 French hospitals with a clinical suspicion of CLI were included and had measurements with each device carried out by skilled operators. PPG was unable to provide a measurement in 10 patients. Lin’s Coefficient correlation concordance (CCC) and Bland and Altman’s scatter plot were analyzed for the 83 remaining patients, CCC was .84 95%CI (.77–.89). For detection of CLI, Cohen’s kappa was .67 95%CI (.53–.81). The PPG device is fairly reliable for toe pressure measurement in patients suspected of CLI and could be useful when LD is not available. However, it fails to deliver a measurement in approximately 10% of cases. No conclusion should be made about CLI for these patients when no measurement is obtainable and other methods should be used (LD, transcutaneous oxygen pressure) to assess perfusion of the limbs.

The number of workloads borne by the teacher will result a negative impact. An organizational climate is crucial because it can generate a comfortable working condition for teachers. Otherwise, an unfavorable organizational climate can impact poor working conditions that affect teachers to experience job Anxiety. This study aimed to determine the effect of workload and organizational climate on the work Anxiety of primary school teachers in Coimbatore. In this study an attempts has been made to find out the relationship between organizational climate and job anxiety of primary school teachers. The sample consisted of 60 teachers selected randomly from various public and private primary schools. A set of tools containing organizational climate and job anxiety was used to gather information. The data were analyzed by t-test and person’s coefficient correlation. The results revealed that (43.3%) of the respondents are moderate level of organizational climate, (40%) of the respondents are good level of organizational climate and (16.7%) of the respondents are poor level of organizational climate and (43.3%) of the respondents are low level of job anxiety, (40%) of the respondents are moderate level of job anxiety and (17%) of the respondents are high level of job anxiety.
