Such presentation software as Microsoft Power-Point can be used to review content in many areas of mathematics. I recently created a slide-show presentation called “math Jeopardy” as a chapterreview activity for my students. I used a mobile computer connected to a large-screen television monitor to display the presentation in front of the classroom.

One posyandu constraint is the frequent change of posyandu cadres. This study aimed to determine the effect of posyandu basic information presentation through cadre refresher to cadre knowledge in Puskesmas Pelabuhan Sambas, Sibolga Sambas Sub-district, Sibolga City. This pre experimental study was used a one group pretest-postest design and the study was conducted from March 2017. The number of posyandu cadres who become respondents were 51 people in Puskesmas Pelabuhan Sambas. Method of this study was lecture and active discussion using slide show power point media. The presentation of posyandu basic information was 1 time performed  with 3 hours duration. Before and after presentation, respondents were given a pre and post test questions. The results showed the level of education (p=0,000) and long time as a cadre (p=-,002) was significantly to increased knowledfe of posyandu cadres related to basic information posyandu. The presentation of posyandu basic information was increased knowledge of posyandu cadres (p=0,000). Need to do re-research with a longer duration of intervention and with other variables.

Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa media sangat layak untuk digunakan, mudah, dan bermanfaat dalam proses pembelajaran.</p><p> </p><p><em><strong>Absctract</strong></em></p><p><em>The grow</em><em>th</em><em> number of smar</em><em>tp</em><em>hone users has penetrated among the students. Mobile learning is defined as a learning model using IT (information technology) handheld and mobile devices. The development model used is 4-D (Four D Models), which are: define, design, develop, and disseminate. Based on the feasibility assessment by the media validator shows that: the application received an assessment </em><em>is</em><em> 86.93% of media experts and 87% of material experts. While the test results show the value of ease and usefulness of application usage </em><em>is</em><em> 87.5% by teachers and 82.27% by students. This shows that the media is very feasible to use, easy, and useful in the learning process.</em></p><p><em><strong><br /></strong></em><strong></strong></p>

This study aims at analyzing reflection of the use of prezi as instructional media for teaching English in Indonesian context. Prezi is presentation software which is not commonly used in Indonesia producing a cloud-based presentation and storytelling tool for presenting ideas on a virtual canvas. This study is conducted based on the previous survey study done by Fox et.al (2016) finding that all of the students in their study preferred prezi rather than power point as a presentation tool in the areas of ease of use, fun to use, text, graphics, and usage in future presentations. However, this study has a purpose to reflect the student-teachers experience when using prezi in teaching English. To obtain the data, journal writing and self-observation by using video recording are used. It deeply investigates: 1) how he creates prezi for teaching English and 2) challenges and benefits of using it for teaching. The finding revealed that prezi is a powerful tool attracting the students attention which creates better classroom atmosphere and meaningful learning experience. On the other hand, it encourages the teacher to have high access of internet and be creative on making prezi presentation.

This article demonstrates how to take a traditional approach to the development of a lesson in a management science course and replace it with an approach that takes advantage of course technology available today. The traditional approach contains elements that are hard to present to students. The new approach takes advantage of presentation software. Examples, selected from presentations for a management science course at Buffalo State College, feature use of animation techniques that were developed with Power Point. Use of this animation technique in Power Point presentations offers a very sharp tool for cutting through the often foggy, dull, and at times even boring details of the mathematical analysis associated with management science and decision theory. Animation offers a dramatic and exciting contrast to the alternative of scanning through several pages of printed graphs or tables in a textbook.
