While universities have been trying to focus their resources and attention on improving e-learning, many universities seem to be lagging behind students' increasing demands and expectations. In order to sustainably grow in an increasingly competitive e-learning environment, it is clear that universities must provide e-learning students with high quality services. To do this, universities are required to understand the attributes that e-learning students use to evaluate service quality. Unfortunately, little research on e-learning service quality has been conducted. This study developed and validated an instrument to measure student perceived e-learning service quality. Based on the relevant literature review and using responses from 1,232 e-learning students, the authors validated a three-factor e-learning service quality instrument involving e-learning system quality, e-learning instructor and course materials quality, and e-learning administrative and support service quality. Among these three factors, e-learning system quality makes the highest contribution to overall e-learning service quality, followed by e-learning instructor and course materials quality, and e-learning administrative and support service quality. This scale provides a useful measurement for researchers who wish to measure e-learning service quality and for university administrators and managers who want to enhance universities' e-learning servie quality.

This article examines the factors of e-learners' perceptions of service quality in terms of the physical appearance of the learning management system, students' assurance of personnel's level of knowledge, and the customized attention to students' needs. The authors use a survey to measure the five dimensions of the SERVQUAL scale, adapted to the e-learning context. A total of 325 responses were obtained. To validate their scale, the authors performed exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses. They found that the most important determining factors for e-learning are: ergonomics, corresponding to the attractiveness of the e-learning system; assurance, corresponding to instructors' ability to satisfy students' needs; and empathy, corresponding to the attention given to each individual student. The authors also found that in the context of e-learning, the relative importance of the dimensions of perceived quality is different from what is typically observed in more traditional services. Their findings enable educational institutions to improve their understanding of the expectations and perceptions of e-learners.

There is still a gap of knowledge on the usage of recommender systems in Saudi universities and the wider issue of technological change in the universities of developing countries. Relatively, this lack of knowledge is an issue to universities seeking to meet students/instructors' expectations and requirements by offering consistently high perceived service standards of e-learning services in a rapidly changing technological environment. To address this issue, this paper seeks to explore the impact of the acceptance and adoption of recommender systems in e-leaning for Saudi universities and this will help to investigate the students/instructors experience according to the e-learning service quality. Thus, a proposed e-framework has been presented. Such framework describes the factors of acceptance (such as service quality, student/instructor experience, and Human Computer Interaction guidelines) should be considered in the e-learning system because it is viewed as a determinant of student/instructor/university satisfaction.

Abstract: The Covid-19 has led to comprehensive changes in the education sector. Physical distancing requirements have seen education programs in Denpasar city, Bali province, Indonesia move online. During the Covid-19 pandemic from February-May) 2020, this study was conducted to determine student e-learning satisfaction and e-learning system success. Student satisfaction was measured by e-learning attitude, e-learning quality, and e-learning flexibility. The research was conducted at two private universities in Bali, Indonesia and involved 257 respondents. Respondents were student actively engaged in e-learning during Covid-19. The results found a significant positive relationship between student e-learning attitude and e-learning quality on student e-learning satisfaction, and also student e-learning satisfaction on e-learning system success; however, the influence of e-Learning flexibility on student e-learning satisfaction was not significant. Universities can improve e-learning results by considering the technical limitation students face for e-learning and improving the flexibility of access to online teachers. Keywords: e-learning attitude, e-learning quality, e-learning  flexibility, student e learning satisfaction, e-learning system successKepuasan Siswa Mengikuti E-Learning Selama Pandemi Covid-19 di IndonesiaAbstrak:Terjadinya pandemi Covid-19 mengakibatkan berbagai perubahan terjadi di seluruh dunia, termasuk di sektor pendidikan.

This study aims to collect the required information to construct a conceptual model to measure e-learning information system success in higher education setting. The methodology used in this study is literature study which was done by comparing six articles from international journals across the globe. Other articles as well as books were also used to support the findings in this study. Further in-depth study and comparisons was made to find suitable variables to evaluate e-learning system success. The conclusion of this study is a conceptual model which implements user satisfaction as mediating variable of the relationship of elearning service quality and system quality on students' individual performance as a measure of e-learning system success. Furthermore, this conceptual model can be an essential reference to be implemented in further related research.
