Data collection techniques use two types of data collection, namely secondary data and primary data. The analysis technique used in this study uses Path Analysis. The results showed that the influence of competence and motivation on performance through satisfaction could not be intervening variables. The calculation results obtained indicate that each exogenous variable's direct effect is greater than the indirect effect on performance. These results suggest that satisfaction cannot play an intervening variable between competence and motivation on teachers' performance at Junior High School 7 Jakarta.
