According to the standards of higher education, a graduate of a pedagogical university is obliged to conduct a pedagogical study and draw it up in the text of the final qualification work. However, analysis of the works shows that for many future teachers, writing a scientific text causes significant difficulty. The questionnaire revealed typical difficulties and reasons for their occurrence, which are due, on the one hand, to the lack of experience in writing in the process of studying vocational training disciplines. On the other hand, it is not the willingness of students to reflect on the process of speech activity and its products, and also not to own ways of organizing independent work. Typical mistakes in the creation of the text of the graduation work were revealed: the lack of a communicative task, the lack of compliance with the logic and relationship of parts of the text, the inclusion of unprocessed materials from primary sources, the lack of own judgment on the topic being studied. Directions in teaching written scientific speech in the preparation process at the university are indicated: inclusion of tasks in all disciplines of training, programs of pedagogical practices involving writing a text of a scientific style, the use of educational technologies focusing on the use of written text as a result of training. It is concluded that training in the writing of the text of the final qualification work involves the consistent involvement of students in the mastery of the culture of written scientific speech, as well as the experience of the research activity of the teacher.

This research aims to investigate the use of Information and Communication, Relationship and Technologies (ICRT) in a discipline of the Postgraduate Program of the Faculty of Education in Brazil. The ICRTs were used systematically in the meetings of the discipline and with social networks being the only environment used for communications and pedagogical practices. Online meetings were carried out in a synchronous manner and so that all students could communicate and interact in the virtual environment in a democratic way. The teacher applied three techniques, which he considered essential for the proper development of activities, they are: calibration, variability and collaboration. This study presents the results and perceptions about the use of ICRTs in a teaching-learning process that used technologies to promote an education that can really make a difference for our students. The methodology of the research carried out in the study was that of action research, in which the teacher uses the teaching-learning process as a research activity, ceasing to be a passive observer of the execution of the proposed activities to assume a participation position, reflection and constant change in the way it acts. Keywords: Online Classes; Education; Educational Practices; Social Network; Technology.

Scientific research activity (SRA) of the future nature subject teachers during university studies is a significant their professionality / skilfulness component. Teacher research activity at school and education quality improvement are directly related. On the other hand, teacher as a researcher (research) competence is formed not only during studies at university or performing pedagogical practices, but also during continual professional improvement activities, as for example, reflexive research. It is obvious, that learners’ scientific research activity is one of the main activity directions in natural science education process. Such activity effectiveness, and also natural science education quality for the most part guarantees properly prepared teacher. A qualitative research was performed, in which 84 two Lithuanian university bachelor and master study programme students participated. The main research aim is to analyse SRA significance to teacher profession, contribution to professional readiness, and also to evaluate study process favourableness to scientist (researcher) career choice and personal student readiness for SRA. Data analysis was carried out applying content analysis method. It has been stated, that the biggest part of respondents relate SRA with professional improvement, and essential such activity contribution is professional readiness improvement (knowledge acquisition, experience and competence development). It has been fixed, that study process is partly favourable, however unsuitable conditions, teachers’ lack of interest and unfocused orientation to career hinder its improvement. Regardless of the fact that 50 % of research participants evaluated their personal readiness to participate in SRA as improper, still the attitude to researcher career remains positive. Key words: qualitative research, scientific research activity (SRA), teacher education, university students.

The article presents the results of the research activity carried out within the framework of the European project H2020 REFLOW, which aims to build an integrated approach for the development of innovative participatory practices dedicated to urban circular metabolisms. As a result of the survey conducted on the application of collaborative models for the urban circular economy, it emerged that there is no shared operational strategy that can be adopted for the circular development of complex systems, such as cities. Based on this premise, this paper offers a new perspective on how to build and validate a transitional pathway for the development of circular cities through the adoption of a design-oriented approach that orchestrates different resources and capacities.

This study explores Habermas’s work in terms of the relevance of his theory of the public sphere to the politics and poetics of the Arab oral tradition and its pedagogical practices. In what ways and forms does Arab heritage inform a public sphere of resistance or dissent? How does Habermas’s notion of the public space help or hinder a better understanding of the Arab oral tradition within the sociopolitical and educational landscape of the Arabic-speaking world? This study also explores the pedagogical implications of teaching Arab orality within the context of the public sphere as a contested site that informs a mode of resistance against social inequality and sociopolitical exclusions.

The purpose of this presentation is to show elements associated to the study and analysis of pedagogical practices used by mathematics teachers, taking into consideration different approaches and conceptions derived from theories related to the role of the math teacher. The project highlights the need to use different strategies to analyze the processes occurring in the activities and tasks organized and implemented by the teacher. One of the main tasks in teacher training is to promote the capacity to noticing on the pedagogical activity, where noticing is understood as an inherent process to improve the quality of classroom management. In addition, different analysis models should be compared using examples and experiential practices and the different theories and research projects developed in this field related to this type of analysis. Knowing what happens in the classroom is a task inherent to the math teacher. For sure, if the teacher does not understand or is even able to perceive what is happening in the class, improvement actions are very difficult to implement. Consequently, math teachers must develop the capability of analyzing their pedagogical activity and the related elements. It is not about isolating variables and looking for causal relationships, but rather about understanding the teacher’s activity as the center of the multiple situations occurring in the classroom, which may be known more in depth, if the attention is focused on the organization, ordering, and execution of the tasks planned by the teacher. It must also be understood that the competence of analyzing mentioned here is not an isolated activity without an effect. Such analysis must be approached from an active perspective where scenarios are generated to mitigate complex situations or to value an approach different than the one happening in the classroom. Being aware that there are many aspects to analyze (most likely almost everything that happens is analyzable), we must take a stand on which situations are highly related to what happens in our classroom and which could eventually happen. With such a wide spectrum, some questions that need to be addressed are: What is important in the math education activity and who defines what is important? What elements are of interest to math teachers? How does the analysis conducted relate to the different models of the teacher's knowledge? How does our previous experience influence the assessments we make? How do we distinguish elements of interest to analysis? What is the relationship between reflecting and analyzing? At what stages of the teacher’s activity is an analysis required? What is the ultimate purpose of analyzing teaching activities? What competencies or skills are related to the analysis? What types of analysis are appropriate (content, cognitive, media, among others)? How can we balance the actions derived from the analyses we conduct? From all these questions the most important one that can guide the study of this reflection would be: What should be assessed in pedagogical activities and what is the objective of analyzing such pedagogical activities in math education?
