Abstract Introduction: Although the typical symptoms of SARS-CoV-2 infection are respiratory symptoms, it has been shown that the virus can also attack the central nervous system (CNS) causing neurological and psychiatric symptoms. Aim: The aim of the study was to present a case of a 52-year-old woman, previously untreated for psychiatric diseases, who developed brief psychotic disorder occurring after Covid-19 infection. Case report: A patient in the biological treatment of asthma, came for a follow-up visit, during which the doctor diagnosed psychopathological symptoms in the form of delusions, never previously observed. The interview showed that the patient was discharged from the Isolation ward 10 days before, where she was hospitalized because of SARS-CoV-2 infection. Discussion: There are several theories regarding the mechanisms of pathogenesis of neuropsychiatric symptoms in the course of Covid-19 infection. Much space in the literature is devoted to pathological immune responses. One of the reasons for the development of delusions in the described patient could therefore be the acute phase of the inflammatory reaction in the course of SARS-CoV-2 infection.

Neurodevelopmental axonal pathfinding plays a central role in correct brain wiring and subsequent cognitive abilities. Within the growth cone, various intracellular effectors transduce axonal guidance signals by remodeling the cytoskeleton. Semaphorin-3E (Sema3E) is a guidance cue implicated in development of the fornix, a neuronal tract connecting the hippocampus to the hypothalamus. Microtubule-Associated Protein 6 (MAP6) has been shown to be involved in the Sema3E growth-promoting signaling pathway. In this study, we identified the Collapsin Response Mediator Protein 4 (CRMP4) as a MAP6 partner and a crucial effector in Sema3E growth-promoting activity. CRMP4-KO mice displayed abnormal fornix development reminiscent of that observed in Sema3E-KO mice. CRMP4 was shown to interact with the Sema3E tripartite receptor complex within Detergent-Resistant Membrane (DRM) domains, and DRM domain integrity was required to transduce Sema3E signaling through the Akt/GSK3 pathway. Finally, we showed that the cytoskeleton-binding domain of CRMP4 is required for Sema3E's growth-promoting activity, suggesting that CRMP4 plays a role at the interface between Sema3E receptors, located in DRM domains, and the cytoskeleton network. As the fornix is affected in many psychiatric diseases, such as schizophrenia, our results provide new insights to better understand the neurodevelopmental components of these diseases.

This article discusses the role of affirmative action in protecting from anxious self, and its effective contribution to treating its negative effects on building human civilization through Risale-i Nur by Imam Badi Al-Zaman Al-Nursi. Three main issues are discussed in this study: the causes of anxiousness self, the concrete effects of anxiousness self on individuals and society and the values of affirmative action that are used in treating the anxiousness self and its negative impacts. The causes of anxiousness self and its effects on individuals and society were extracted by using the inductive approach of Risale-i Nur. But the descriptive method was used to extract the effective values of affirmative action to protect from it and treat its effects. The study confirms that concentrating and completing work are among the affirmative action basics regardless of the results. It also draws attention to the importance of the media to reduce the penetration of anxiousness self among society members. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of collective actions, whether they are religious or non-religious, to treat the anxious self and reduce its impacts.

The mental state assessment is an important tool for doctors when determining psychiatric diagnosis. Physicians can better identify and differentiate psychiatric diseases if they are familiar with the components of the examination. A thorough medical history entails a more in-depth investigation into the patient's medical problems, including all diseases and illnesses that are currently being treated, as well as those that have left any lasting consequences on the patient's health. A major source of worry is the patient's health literacy, as well as how questions to acquire histories are asked in such a way that the patient understands and can respond appropriately. Medical record practices have a long history of criticism, despite their usefulness. Records that are untimed or outdated, use imprecise language or are illegible, lack a logical structure, are poorly synthesized, are difficult to access and prone to loss, lack information relevant to clinical treatment goals, or are plain incorrect are all common concerns. In this review we will be looking at approaches for mental and history examination, as well as the importance of such reports.
