10th anniversary International Conference «Beam Technologies and Laser Applications» (BTLA - 2021) was held successfully in Saint-Petersburg, Russia, during September 20-22, 2021. Traditionally, the conference is held once every three years. This is one of the leading international conferences for presenting novel and fundamental advances in the fields of beam technologies. The conference program is extensive and reflects the main global trends in the development of laser, electron beam and related technologies: from fundamental research and applied developments to the implementation of advanced production technologies in industry and digitalization of production processes. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, our foreign colleagues, who have traditionally participated in the conference for many years, could not personally attend the conference. However, the conference participants had the opportunity to hear their reports using remote technologies. But this year the geography of Russian participants is vast, representatives of more than 40 organizations made reports. Within the framework of the conference, a plenary session, thematic sections and master classes were held. Over three days of the conference, more than 100 reports were made. List of International Organizing Committee, International Program Committee are available in this pdf.

The Conference took place virtually due to covid-19 outbreak and travel restrictions. The organisers were from different cities in Iraq but most of them from Basrah. There were five plenary speakers and these speakers were from UK, Australia, South Africa, Jordan and Iraq. Each speaker took approximately an hour with Q&A session. In overall, there were 11 sessions that were delivered by 82 speakers, who were from different countries, each speaker spent 15 min to deliver their talks. All the discussions and Q&A time were live through Zoom rooms and FCC. The overall attendance number was more than 500 people during 5 days. Laptops, phones, Zoom and free conference call were needed to deliver the meeting successfully. The only technical difficulty that we faced sometimes is the weak WiFi signals. The drawbacks in the delivery of the conference virtually, was we couldn’t welcome people in person and couldn’t have Gala dinner. Other than that everything went very well. The idea of the conference is for the chemist, scientists, scholars, engineers, and students from Iraq and all around the world and the industry to present ongoing research activities, and hence to foster research relations between the Universities and the industry. We think it an ideal platform for people to share views and experiences in different aspects of chemistry and its relation with other sciences. The conference program consists of invited sessions and technical workshops and discussions with eminent speakers covering a wide range of topics in chemistry. This rich program provides all attendees with the opportunities to meet online and interact with one another. We hope your experience with the 3rd VICC is a fruitful and long-lasting one. We would like to thank the organization staff, the members of the program committees, and reviewers. They have worked very hard in reviewing papers and making valuable suggestions for the authors to improve their work. We also would like to express our gratitude to the external reviewers, for providing extra help in the review process, and the authors for contributing their research results to the conference. Special thanks go to IOP Publishing-Journal of Physics Conference Series for their generous assistance and cooperation. List of Organizing Committee, Scientific Committee, Technical committee are available in this pdf.

The International Conference on Advanced Optics & Photonics Research in Engineering (AOPR 2021) (http://www.aopr-conf.com/) held from November 13-14, 2021 in Wuhan, China. Aiming at providing an excellent international academic forum for all the researchers and practitioners, the conference enjoys a wide spread participation among all over the universities and research institutes. It was provide opportunities for the delegates to exchange new ideas and application experiences, to establish business or research relations and to find global partners for future collaboration. Papers and topic concentrates on related fields of Optics and photonics are presented. AOPR 2021 proceeding tends to collect the most up-to-date, comprehensive, and worldwide state-of-art knowledge on Advanced Optics & Photonics Research in Engineering and other related topics. All the accepted papers have been submitted to strict peer-review by 2-3 international expert referees, and selected based on originality, significance and clarity for the purpose of the conference. The conference program is extremely rich, profound and featuring high-impact presentations of selected papers and additional late-breaking contributions. I sincerely hope that the conference would not only show the participants a broad overview of the latest research results on related fields, but also provide them with a significant platform for academic connection and exchange. The Technical Program Committee members have been working very hard to meet the deadline of review. The final conference received over 75 submissions, and 28 papers have been accepted. I would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the keynote speakers, editors, TPC members and organizers for their hard work, precious time and endeavor preparing for the conference. 2021 International Conference on Electron Devices and Applications (ICEDA 2021) was held online during August 14-16, 2021. Due to the evolving public health concerns and travel advisories issued for the avoidance of non-essential travel in view of COVID-19, the conference ICEDA 2021 has been held virtually with about 37 guests hosted on Zoom video conference platform. It was a fully synchronized online conference that had live Q&A, participants jointly listened to presentations, and attended other live events associated with the conference. The conference program was organized in 5 sessions, with 7 plenary and 37 specialized papers presented. Scientists from China, Russia, Thailand took part in the scientific forum. Each plenary speech lasted for 30 minutes, including 5 minutes for Q&A while for other sessions, there was 15 minutes for each presentation, including 2 minutes for Q&A. The interaction session was real experience to the participants and they had good exposure with foreign researchers, students and other delegates. The objective of ICEDA was to provide a platform for engineers, scientists and industrial partners to discuss and disseminate recent research findings in wide aspects of theoretical, experimental, and practical electron devices and applications fields. Professionals, experts, and scholars from various engineering disciplines were invited to share experiences, innovations, achievements and knowledge. The conference brought together academics, researchers, and practitioners with the aim of bridging the gap between theory and practice in all electron devices aspects. All papers in this proceeding were subject to peer-review by conference committee members and international reviewers. The papers were selected for the proceedings based on quality and relevance to the conference. We express our gratitude to the Organising Committee for its valuable contribution to this successful edition of ICEDA 2021. W e also express our sincere gratitude to all people who contributed to the review process and did all their best to enhance the scientific merit and quality of the Proceedings. All the world as well as our conference faced to the pandemic in 2021. Therefore, the 24th International Conference on Building Materials, Products and Technologies (ICBMPT 2021) had to be postponed from the usual date in June to the new date 29th September to 1st October 2021. The participants appreciated our choice to organize the conference again in the beautiful town of Telč in the Czech Republic, which is popular with many tourists, because it belongs to the cultural heritage under protection of UNECSCO. Despite the difficult situation, the organizers from the Research Institute for Building Materials collected 23 interesting papers among research workplaces in the Czech Republic and abroad. The conference brings not only interesting presentations, but also it creates a platform for scientific discussions and proposals of new mutual projects. The main topics of ICBMPT 2021 were: Inorganic binders, Composite materials, Building materials based on secondary raw materials and Technology and test methods in building industry. Also, several keynote speakers were attracted to contribute to our conference. Besides the conference program, there was a possibility to take part in the specialized workshop Healthy buildings with many interesting topics, among others asbestos treatment and biodeteriogens in building environment. We would like to thank all the participants for their valuable contribution to the conference. We would like to express our gratitude to the reviewers for their time, valuable recommendations and constructive evaluation, in order to guarantee high quality of all the papers. We are looking forward to the next conference in better times! List of Scientific committee, Editors, are available in this pdf.
