The fact that the Ottoman Empire was an exotic and mysterious Eastern country has been an important issue that has great meaning for Western orientalist engraving artists. The natural landscape, topographic image, mosques, palaces, daily life and the Bosphorus of Istanbul which is the capital of the Empire, were important elements that lived in the engravings of many painters. After going to Europe, many of these painters turned their paintings into an album with the technique of Engraving. These albums have survived to the present day as a historical document introducing the socio-cultural life of the Ottoman Empire. 18. in the century, Sultan III. During Selim's period, there were serious changes and transformations in the cultural sense. During this period, the Ottoman palace opened its doors to Western artists, and a culture that developed under the influence of the West began to gain a place, especially in Istanbul. In this article, after briefly mentioning the history of Engraving art, information is given about the life of the Orientalist Painter Melling, who grew up under the influence of the Renaissance period in Europe and turned his face to the East. After mentioning the artist's work as a painter and architect in Istanbul, his relationship with Hatice Sultan, the sister of Sultan Selim III, and the dimensions of this relationship were evaluated. It is aimed to examine the change and transformation of the palace and the socio-cultural structure of the period through the Neşetabad Palace engraving made by Melling.

This paper describes a simple method to pattern nanoparticles on planar surfaces using the antifouling property of poly(ethylene glycol) monolayers deposited from a solution on the native oxide of titanium. Atomic force microcopy was used to pattern the poly(ethylene glycol) monolayers producing protein active sites on the protein-resistant surface. Patterns with different sizes have been generated by shaving the monolayers with different repetitions. Friction force microscopy was used to image the patterns. The smallest patterns are 50 nm and the largest patterns are 500 nm at full width half maximum. The smallest pattern was produced with one shave, whereas the largest pattern was produced by shaving the monolayers 112 times. Protein-coated nanoparticles were immobilised on the shaved (protein active) part of the monolayers by dipping the patterned samples into a solution that contains 2% by volume protein-functionalized nanoparticles with a nominal diameter of 40 nm. Atomic force microscopy was used to take a topographic image of the samples. The topographic image showed that the protein-functionalized nanoparticles were attached onto the shaved part of the substrate but not on the poly(ethylene glycol)-covered part of the substrate. The level of aggregation of the nanoparticles was also investigated from the topographic image. The section analysis of the topographic image of the nanoparticle patterns showed a height of 40 nm which proved that only a monolayer of particles were deposited on the shaved part of the monolayer.

PEMANFAATAN CITRA TOPOGRAFI MENGGUNAKAN TRANSFORMASI WATERSHED PADA DAS YANG RAWAN BENCANA ALAMImage Utilization Topography Using Watershed Transformation In Watersheds Natural Disaster ProneMuhtarJurusan Teknik Sipil Fakultas Teknik Universitas Muhammadiyah JemberAlamat Korespondensi : Jl. Karimata 49 JemberEmail: [email protected] a country which has abundant natural resources , Indonesia is faced with a problem that arises in the process of exploiting the natural resources , namely the emergence of natural disasters that could potentially cause serious damage in some areas . Threats to flooding and landslides in the watershed ( DAS ) has been in the spotlight of many researchers in finding the best solution . Utilization topographic image in the field of remote sensing is very useful in the development of disaster management system better . With the support of the use of watershed transformation method , it is possible to obtain data geographical situation , both of dimension flow and slope conditions affecting the water discharge capacity of the watershed . Thus , the risk of natural disasters can be minimized level of material and non-material damage .Keywords : Topography image , Transformation Watershed , Watershed , Natural Disaster ProneAbstrakSebagai Negara yang memiliki sumber daya alam melimpah, Indonesia dihadapkan pada suatu permasalahan yang muncul dalam proses pemanfaatan kekayaan alam itu, yaitu munculnya bencana alam yang berpotensi menyebabkan kerusakan serius dibeberapa daerah.

Active layer’s morphologies properties are important for the optoelectronic devices. In this paper, the morphologies properties of the carbon nanotube/polyaniline composites thin film formed by spin coating were studied by the atomic force microscopy (AFM). The results showed that spin coating way greatly affects the thin film’s topographic image, carbon nanotubes’ concentration is the key that decide whether the interpenetrating network phase separation microstructure can be formed.
