Indonesia is currently ranked 24th in the Global Cybersecurity Index (GCI) 2020. Indonesia's ranking can be improved by improving the assessment pillars of the GCI survey, one of the efforts is to improve the cyber security system of government agencies through Security Assessment. For this reason, the purpose of this study is to provide alternative solutions in order to optimize the public services of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) in the form of Security Assessment in the perspective of the GCI 2020 survey. This research is a qualitative research using data related to BIN public services and then juxtaposed with data from the Global Cybersecurity survey. Index 2020 as a reference. The results of the study indicate that the optimization of the Security Assessment can be done by implementing cyber counterintelligence and optimizing the publication of services by paying attention to the rules of intelligence secrecy. With the optimization of the Security Assessment, it will affect the assessment of the Technical and Organizational pillars in the GCI survey so that it is expected that Indonesia's ranking will increase in the next survey.

Abstract. The digital cartographic coverage at 1:25,000 that the Military Geographic Institute is creating has been worked on using international standards, so that it constitutes a standardized and interoperable tool, for the various areas of activity in Chile. In this context, the ISO TC 211 standards and the TDS (Topographic Data Store) data model developed by the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) are being used.Apart from using these standards, efforts have been aimed, from an early stage, at the determination of the quality of this product, starting this process with the study for a methodology to measure Positional Accuracy. The method defined conforms to the NSSDA test; for this, points measured in the terrain especially for this control are used, also the elimination of points that are out of range under the Chauvenet Criteria. Finally, the positional accuracy is declared in the metadata.

Abstract Protests against racism erupt in cities across America. A White House, under siege, believes a vast conspiracy is at work, and, to uncover it, instigates a policy to spy on Americans. This is not the United States in 2020, but half a century earlier. Using a wealth of declassified records, this article explores a domestic intelligence collection program (CHAOS) instigated by two successive US administrations and conducted by the Central Intelligence Agency in the late 1960s and early 1970s. By studying this historical chapter, we observe how quickly an agency, equipped with intrusive powers, can infringe on Americans’ civil liberties when tasked by a US president. Applying this case to our contemporary context, this article argues that robust whistleblower procedures, as well as informal oversight, are powerful defenses against such abuses. Understanding why CHAOS occurred is an essential public policy first step to prevent similar abuses happening again.

Dr. Radan Sarafov (1908-1968) lived actively but his life is still relatively unknown to the Bulgarian academic and public audience. He was a strong character with an ulti-mate and conscious commitment to democratic Bulgaria. Dr. Sarafov was chosen by IMRO (Inner Macedonian Revolutionary Organization) to represent the idea of coop-eration with Anglo-American politics prior to the Second World War. Dr. Sarafov studied medicine in France, specialized in the Sorbonne, and was recruited by Colonel Ross for the Secret Intelligence Service (SIS), remaining undisclosed after the with-drawal of the British legation in 1941. After World War II, he continued to work for foreign intelligence and expanded the spectrum of cooperation with both France and the United States. After WWII, Sarafov could not conform to the reign of the communist regime in Bulgaria. He made a connection with the Anglo-American intelligence ser-vices and was cooperating with the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) for more than a decade. Sarafov was caught in 1968 and convicted by the Committee for State Securi-ty (CSS) in Bulgaria. The detailed review of the past events and processes through personal drama and commitment reveals the disastrous core of the communist regime. The acknowledgment of the people who sacrificed their lives in the name of democrat-ic values is always beneficial for understanding the division and contradictions from the time of the Cold War.

Abstract The aim of gravity survey is to assist in the detection and delineation of subsurface geological features such as salt domes and faults. In this study, free air anomaly (FAA) data was adopted for mapping and modelling process to delineate subsurface geological features and basement depth in Malay Basin. FAA is the measured gravity anomaly after a free air correction is applied, and it is used for elevation correction. The data of FAA in this study is obtained from Earth Gravitational Model (EGM) 2008 released by the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA)-EGM Development Team. Oasis Montaj software was used in the mapping and modelling process whereby the base map which constructed by the Oasis Montaj is used to form the FAA map of Malay Basin. Typically, the positive anomaly is associated with the high-density intrusion at the base of the crust, while in contrast (negative anomaly), it is related to the sedimentary basin in the upper crust. On top of that, the regional-residual anomaly, total horizontal derivative (THD) and 3D Euler Deconvolution enhanced maps were produced and interpreted to acquire comprehensive insight of subsurface geological features. To conclude, this study showed 5% deviation as compared to previous reported works and the deepest basement depth encountered is 14.5 km.

The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze exploitative transnational crimes that are carried out directly or indirectly, with the aim of making profit for themselves and others. People smuggling is inseparable from illegal immigrants. This research method is normative-empirical qualitative in the Live Case Study group. The data collection technique used is by compiling questions and answers about Transnational Organized Crimes and compiling related literature that is still related to the titles and themes discussed in the study. The analysis of the data in this study is formed in the presentation of data (data display), data reduction (data reduction), and by drawing a conclusion. The results showed that the Directorate General of Immigration held a national coordination meeting with other government agencies such as the National Police, the Ministry of Religion, the Ministry of Manpower, and the National Agency for the Placement and Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers (BNP2MI). OA surveillance is also carried out by the Directorate General of Immigration (Directorate General of Immigration) in collaboration with the National Police Security Intelligence Agency (Baintelkam). The formalization of this cooperation has been carried out in the form of a Cooperation Agreement. The conclusion in this study is prevention efforts, Immigration PPNS can make efforts to prevent the occurrence of people smuggling and trafficking in persons with Police Investigators, Ministry of Manpower Employment PPNS, BP2MI, Regional Governments based on Articles 56, 57, 58, 59 of Law no. 21 of 2007 concerning the Eradication of TP of Trafficking in Persons and Article 111 of Law no. 6 of 2011 concerning Immigration.
