Spectral computed tomography (CT) can divide collected photons into multi-energy channels and gain multi-channel projections synchronously by using photon-counting detectors. However, reconstructed images usually contain severe noise due to the limited number of photons in the corresponding energy channel. Tensor dictionary learning (TDL)-based methods have achieved better performance, but usually lose image edge information and details, especially from an under-sampling dataset. To address this problem, this paper proposes a method termed TDL with an enhanced sparsity constraint for spectral CT reconstruction. The proposed algorithm inherits the superiority of TDL by exploring the correlation of spectral CT images. Moreover, the method designs a regularization using the L0-norm of the image gradient to constrain images and the difference between images and a prior image in each energy channel simultaneously, further improving the ability to preserve edge information and subtle image details. The split-Bregman algorithm has been applied to address the proposed objective minimization model. Several numerical simulations and realistic preclinical mice are studied to assess the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm. The results demonstrate that the proposed method improves the quality of spectral CT images in terms of noise elimination, edge preservation, and image detail recovery compared to the several existing better methods.

With an increase of magnetic field up to 0.8 T and plasma current to 400 kA, fast ion losses rate in the discharges with toroidal Alfven eigenmodes decreased in tokamak Globus-M2 comparing with Globus-M tokamak discharges. Taking into account the data on the discharges with increased magnetic field and plasma current, the regression fit of neutral particle analyzer flux drop in energy channel close to neutral beam energy on relative eigenmode magnitude, the value of magnetic field and plasma current was analyzed. The power of flux drop dependence on TAE magnitude was found to be ~0.5 and inverse proportional on the value of product of magnetic field and plasma current, which is highly likely is determined only by plasma current due to weak dependence on magnetic field. The result obtained indicates that fast ion losses in Globus-M2, stimulated by toroidal Alfven eigenmodes are mostly determined by the shift of passing orbits to the plasma edge. With the increase of plasma current and magnetic field, neutron flux drops arising in the moments of toroidal mode bursts have also decreased.

Abstract The Advanced Small Analyzer for Neutrals (ASAN) on board the Chang’E-4 Yutu-2 rover first detected energetic neutral atoms (ENAs) originating from the lunar surface at various lunar local times on the lunar farside. In this work, we examine the ENA energy spectra, obtained in the first 23 lunar days from 2019 January 11 to 2020 October 12, and find a higher ENA differential flux on the lunar dawnside than on the duskside. Combined with Acceleration, Reconnection, Turbulence and Electrodynamics of the Moon’s Interaction with the Sun (ARTEMIS) data, we analyze the correlation between the ENA differential flux and solar wind parameters, such as flux, density, dynamic pressure, and velocity, for each ASAN energy channel on the dawnside and duskside. The results show that ENA differential flux is positively correlated with solar wind flux, density, and dynamic pressure and relatively lower on the duskside than on the dawnside. To determine the relationship between solar wind energy and ENA energy, we analyze the correlation between solar wind energy and ENA cutoff energy and temperature on the dawnside and duskside. The results show that the ENA cutoff energy and temperature are lower on the duskside than on the dawnside at the same solar wind energy. The difference between the ENA–solar wind observation on the dawnside and duskside is possibly caused by solar wind deflection and deceleration on the duskside, which can be attributed to the interaction between solar wind and the lunar magnetic anomalies located nearby in the northwestern direction of the Chang’E-4 landing site.

Abstract In this work, a method was established for discriminating geographical origins of wheat flour based on energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometry (ED-XRF) and chemometrics. 68 wheat flour samples from three different origins were collected and analyzed using ED-XRF technology. Firstly, the principal component analysis method was applied to analyze the feasibility of discrimination and reduce data dimensionality. Then, Competitive Adaptive Reweighted Sampling (CARS) was used to further extract feature variables, and 12 energy variables (corresponding to mineral elements) were identified and selected to characterize the geographical attributes of wheat flour samples. Finally, a non-linear model was constructed using principal component analysis and quadratic discriminant analysis (QDA). The CARS-PCA-QDA model showed that the accuracy of five-fold cross-validation was 84.25%. The results showed that the established method was able to select important energy channel variables effectively and wheat flour could be classified based on geographical origins with chemometrics, which could provide a theoretical basis for unveiling the relationship between mineral element composition and wheat origin.

Since the moon’s revolution cycle is exactly the same as its rotation cycle, we can only see the moon always facing Earth in the same direction. Based on the clean particle radiation environment of the moon, a neutral atomic telemetry base station could be established on the lunar surface facing Earth to realize long-term continuous geomagnetic activity monitoring. Using the 20°×20° field of view, the 0.5°×0.5° angle resolution, and the ~0.17 cm²sr geometric factor, a two-dimensional ENA imager is being designed. The magnetospheric ring current simulation at a 4–20 keV energy channel for a medium geomagnetic storm (Kp=5) shows the following: 1) at ~60 Rᴇ (Rᴇ is the Earth radius), the imager can collect 10⁴ ENA events for 3 min to meet the statistical requirements for 2D coded imaging data inversion, so as to meet requirements for the analysis of the substorm ring current evolution process of magnetic storms above medium; 2) the ENA radiation loss puzzles in the magnetopause and magnetotail plasma sheet regions have been deduced and revealed using the 2-D ENA emission model. High spatial-temporal resolution ENA imaging monitoring of these two important regions will provide the measurement basis for the solar wind energy input process and generation mechanism; 3) the average sampling interval of ENA particle events is about 16 ms at the moon’s orbit; the spectral time difference for the set energy range is on the order of minutes, which can provide location information to track the trigger of geomagnetic storm particle events.

Ano-rectal disorders refer to the illness of the anal canal and rectum. Fissure in ano, Fistula in ano and haemorrhoids are among the most common ano-rectal conditions. In these cases, symptoms like pain, itching, burning, bleeding and swelling can significantly affect a patient's lifestyle. In Today’s Era, for pain management in post-operative cases of ano-rectal diseases, yoga plays an important role in pain management. Yoga is a way of living that aim towards a healthy mind in a healthy body. Ashwini mudra is a tantric practice used to generate and move prana (life force energy) upward along the spine, via the main energy channel of the subtle body known as sushumna nadi. The practice involves contracting the anal sphincter in a rhythmic way, thereby generating and containing intense energy within the lower body before pumping it upwards As the ano-rectal disease require long term conservative treatment and also surgical intervention. Due to this patients are suffering for long term problems. To minimize the side effects of medicine in post-operative cases, certain measures are needed. Yoga is a way of living that aims towards a healthy mind in a healthy body. Sushruta and Vagbhata have described that the total length of Guda is 4½ Angula only. Vagbhata had also told measurement of Guda as Atmapanitala (palm of hand) Ashwini mudra is very easy to perform and can be done during any time and by any age group.
