Purpose: The aim of this paper was to determine the interrelationship among the components of students’ internet insight as an academic resource tool in universities based in Kenya. Methodology: The study was conducted in Moi University and Daystar University. The study was based on the Social learning theory by Bandura focusing on internet self-efficacy and supplemented by Technology acceptance model by Davies. Quantitative research approach was undertaken. An ex post facto research survey design was adopted. The researcher used a representative sample of 435 (Moi University) and 175 (Daystar University)adding up to 610 Third year student teachers of the academic year 2015/2016 drawn from School of Education in the two universities. Stratified sampling was used to categorize students by gender from each stratum; participants were chosen randomly. Questionnaires were used as instruments of data collection. Content validity was established by use of expert judgment in the school of education. Test re-test method was applied to check if the instruments that collected data were reliable. Descriptive and inferential statistics were applied to analyze data. In descriptive statistics data frequencies, percentages and mean was used. Analysis of variance (ANOVA), Chi square and Post hoc tests were used to test the hypotheses. Results: The findings indicated that more participants concurred with almost all accounts on internet knowledge, self-efficacy, perceived internet usefulness and perceived internet ease of use. Unique contribution to theory, practice and policy: The results of the paper are useful in designing educational programs in Kenyan institutions of higher learning and also, present a platform to close the gap of knowledge in digital divide field which is used later in technology acceptance studies.

The idea of this book originated in the 4th International Conference of Contemporary Affairs in Architecture and Urbanism ICCAUA2021, held online in Alanya Hamdullah Emin Pasa University in May 2021. It was conceived as an intellectual discourse and a concise compendium of recent research in two parts, first part comprises Architecture and Urban studies with fourteen chapters and the second part contains Heritage and Habitat studies with ten chapters. This provocative collection of essays and contributors is concerned with underlying issues such as ecosystem, architectural history, open and public space, aesthetics of urban planning, livability, urban equity, sustainable development, construction and risk management, urban identity, conservation and regeneration, ethnicity, engagement and gender studies, some with case studies. Each chapter is a free-standing text, but the twenty-four contributions have been grouped to enable cross-reference and comparison. This book is a useful collection of academic resource and discusses some unsolved issues that cities has to face. Dr. Rokhsaneh Rahbarianyazd Alanya HEP University Alanya, Turkey

Classification of resource can help us effectively reduce the work of filtering massive academic resources, such as selecting relevant papers and focusing on the latest research by scholars in the same field. However, existing graph neural networks do not take into account the associations between academic resources, leading to unsatisfactory classification results. In this paper, we propose an Association Content Graph Attention Network (ACGAT), which is based on the association features and content attributes of academic resources. The semantic relevance and academic relevance are introduced into the model. The ACGAT makes full use of the association commonality and the influence information of resources and introduces an attention mechanism to improve the accuracy of academic resource classification. We conducted experiments on a self-built scholar network and two public citation networks. Experimental results show that the ACGAT has better effectiveness than existing classification methods.

Virtual worlds in higher education have opened new possibilities for innovation in the teaching-learning process. In this sense, the description of the integration of this emerging technology with hybrid and mobile learning models is presented, which seeks to streamline and make flexible the access to information to the student and teacher inside and outside the classroom, intending that pedagogical didactics were more inclusive and participatory. With this in mind, a virtual world was developed as a digital tool for teaching support to students and teachers of the Faculty of Systems Engineering of the University of Cundinamarca, with a view to establishing its viability to be implemented and to demonstrate its potential as an academic resource that motivates students in their training and the teacher to develop new digital skills and competences.
