The challenges involved in the traditional cloud computing paradigms have prompted the development of architectures for the next generation cloud computing. The new cloud computing architectures can generate and handle huge amount of data, which was not possible to handle with the help of traditional architectures. Deep learning algorithms have the ability to process this huge amount of data and, thus, can now solve the problem of the next generation computing algorithms. Therefore, these days, deep learning has become the state-of-the-art approach for solving various tasks and most importantly in the field of recognition. In this work, recognition of city names is proposed. Recognition of handwritten city names is one of the potential research application areas in the field of postal automation For recognition using a segmentation-free approach (Holistic approach). This proposed work demystifies the role of convolutional neural network (CNN), which is one of the methods of deep learning technique. Proposed CNN model is trained, validated, and analyzed using Adam and stochastic gradient descent (SGD) optimizer with a batch size of 2, 4, and 8 and learning rate (LR) of 0.001, 0.01, and 0.1. The model is trained and validated on 10 different classes of the handwritten city names written in Gurmukhi script, where each class has 400 samples. Our analysis shows that the CNN model, using an Adam optimizer, batch size of 4, and a LR of 0.001, has achieved the best average validation accuracy of 99.13.

Given the massive potentials of 5G communication networks and their foreseeable evolution, what should there be in 6G that is not in 5G or its long-term evolution? 6G communication networks are estimated to integrate the terrestrial, aerial, and maritime communications into a forceful network which would be faster, more reliable, and can support a massive number of devices with ultra-low latency requirements. This article presents a complete overview of potential 6G communication networks. The major contribution of this study is to present a broad overview of key performance indicators (KPIs) of 6G networks that cover the latest manufacturing progress in the environment of the principal areas of research application, and challenges.

The bottom-hole zone treatment to eliminate contaminating materials is one of the most effective measures to improve oil and gas exploitation efficiency. At Joint Venture Vietsovpetro, in addition to utilizing of traditional acid systems to treat the bottom-hole zone, researchs and applications of new technologies have been conducted to improve treatment efficiency, especially for wells with specific conditions and wells which are entering the final stage of exploitation. In this report, the results of research and assessments of the effectiveness of the chemical systems currently used by Vietsovpetro and the results of research and applications of some new technological solutions in this field in the period 2015-2019 will be presented

The Journal of Business Administration Research has been focusing on the research and development of global business models and management, contributing highly valued information for professionals engaged in scientific research, application innovation, and enterprise operation. The global economy and business development have been facing unprecedented challenges in seeking new economic models and renewing business models and management practices since the outbreak of COVID-19 in 2020. Traditional industries are forced to transform the standardized management that has already become an essential condition, into smarter, more simplified, and highly effective management to adapt to an environment with mature applications of the Internet of Things (IoT), shifting from offline to online operations, and focusing more on operations at the user end instead of at the platform end. The goal is to integrate resources and improve operation efficiency more effectively by upgrading industries, lowering human resource requirements, and simplifying management models and production processes.

In this research, the aim was to determine teacher- and school-level factors that are associated with students’ civic knowledge, future engagement in society as a citizen, opinions about future global issues and sense of belonging to their country. For that purpose, the research took IEA International Civic and Citizenship Education Study (ICCS 2016) questionnaire data from Latvian and Finnish students (Latvia n = 3224, Finland n = 3173), teachers (Latvia n = 1933, Finland n = 2097) and schools (Latvia n = 137, Finland n = 174). The study used a subset of the teacher dataset that corresponds only to those teachers who teach civic and citizenship education lessons in school (Latvia n = 131, Finland n = 165). The research shows that there are some significant relationships with teacher- and school-level factors and four student factors: civic knowledge, future engagement, sense of belonging to their country and global problems (sustainability, violence and economy). The research supported by research application no. 1.1.1.2/VIAA/1/16/020.

School violence and bullying highlighted as a global issue outside and in the school. In this research, IEA International Civic and Citizenship Study (ICCS) 2016 data from eight countries – Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Germany (North Rhine-Westphalia), the Russian Federation, Sweden and Denmark – was compared. The aim of the article is to observe the relationship between bullying and students’ citizenship activities at school and in the future. The research determined a relationship between bullying and factors that described students’ citizenship activities. The results show that there is a link between bullying and students’ experiences of participation in illegal and legal activities, participation in classroom discussions, interest in the wider community, and at-school citizenship activities. This article was supported by research application no. 1.1.1.2/VIAA/1/16/020, and European Social Fund project No. 8.3.6.2/17/I/001.
