Abstract In this paper fatigue properties of three groups of unequal thickness unmarked overlap laser welding of the external wallboard connected of type A and B vehicle were studied. In addition, a group of overlap penetration welded structures of 1.5mm-301L-HT+0.8mm-301L-DLT is designed to study the impact of penetration rate to the mechanical properties. The influence of the weld geometry and plate combination on fatigue fracture behavior and fatigue property is studied based on the combination of fatigue test and simulation stress analysis. Fatigue studies have shown that in spite of the thickness of the two lap unequal thickness welded plate is disparities -- unmarked non-penetration welding outer plate is thicker but it appears fatigue fracture on the outer plate. The safety fatigue limit of three different non-penetration welded structures of plate combinations and weld structures is close which further proofs that the stress state and microstructure of non-penetration outer plate is not conducive to fatigue fracture. It is consistent with the results of the finite element simulation. The fatigue limit of lap welded structure increase with the increase of plate thickness.

COVID-19. The article describes a clinical case of acute otitis media in an 8-year-old child complicated by mastoiditis, antibodies to SARS-CoV-2 and IgG coronovirus were detected in the child's blood. The data available today indicate that children make up up to 10% in the structure of infected SARS-CoV-2 and up to 2% in the structure of patients with diagnosed clinical cases of COVID-19. In the Russian Federation, children account for 6-7% of the registered cases of COVID-19. At the beginning of the pandemic, it was revealed that children have a lighter course of the disease and complications and unfavorable outcomes are much less common. However, in the following months, clinicians began to note a multiple increase in the frequency of hospitalization of children for COVID-19. The described case shows the rapid development of acute mastoiditis with the destruction of the outer plate of the temporal bone in a child, as a complication of acute otitis media, after a new coronavirus infection. The article presents information on the relevance of epidemiology, clinical picture, diagnosis and treatment of acute otitis media complicated by mastoiditis in children. It should be emphasized that in order to achieve the most effective tactics of introducing patients, close cooperation of doctors of narrow specialties with pediatricians is necessary, mass testing of the child population, further research to obtain reliable data on the impact of a new coronavirus infection on the child's body. Currently, there is insufficient data in the available literature on the effect of COVID-19 on ENT organs in children. In this regard, further studies on ENT diseases in this category of patients are needed on the background of or after a COVID-19 infection.

Kinetochores perform an essential role in eukaryotes, coupling chromosomes to the mitotic spindle. In model organisms they are composed of a centromere-proximal inner kinetochore and an outer kinetochore network that binds to microtubules. In spite of universal function, the composition of kinetochores in extant eukaryotes differs greatly. In trypanosomes and other Kinetoplastida, kinetochores are extremely divergent, with most components showing no detectable similarity to proteins in other systems. They may also be very different functionally, potentially binding to the spindle directly via an inner-kinetochore protein. However, we do not know the extent of the trypanosome kinetochore, and proteins interacting with a highly divergent Ndc80/Nuf2-like protein (KKIP1) suggest the existence of more centromere-distal complexes. Here we use quantitative proteomics from multiple start-points to define a stable 9-protein kinetoplastid outer kinetochore (KOK) complex. This complex incorporates proteins recruited from other nuclear processes, exemplifying the role of moonlighting proteins in kinetochore evolution. The outer kinetochore complex is physically distinct from inner-kinetochore proteins, but nanometer-scale label separation shows that KKIP1 bridges the two plates in the same orientation as Ndc80. Moreover, KKIP1 exhibits substantial elongation at metaphase, altering kinetochore structure in a manner consistent with pulling at the outer plate. Together, these data suggest that the KKIP1/KOK likely constitute the extent of the trypanosome outer kinetochore and that this assembly binds to the spindle with sufficient strength to stretch the kinetochore, showing design parallels may exist in organisms with very different kinetochore composition.

This paper deals with the development of button made from a hydroxyapatite (HA) and bioglass composite. The HA powder derived from the bovine bone were added 2.5 and 5 wt% of P2O5-CaO-Na2O-bases glass and subsequently sintered at 1200 - 1350 °C to form the HA ceramics. It was observed that the densest HA ceramic could be achieved for the sample composed of hydroxyapatite with the addition of 5 wt% of bioglass and sintered at 1300°C, resulting in the maximum value of bending strength of about 77 MPa, which ensured the use in load bearing applications of this HA ceramic. The HA and 5 wt% bioglass composite is designed as a button for reattach the bone flap after a craniotomy procedure. Each device is comprised of an inner plate and an outer plate. The fabrication processing was used the powder compression and then sintering at 1300°C for 3 h. The button have fracture toughness (K1C) values of 1.3±0.1 MPa.m1/2 and bending strength of 65.7±3.8 MPa. The liquid phase sintering of this sample contributed to the high mechanical properties that can be use as craniotomy flap fixation.

During manufacturing process of ceiling fans there may be possibility that any step of manufacturing process can be skipped or improper completion due to malfunctioning of the system. In manufacturing process of fans, the outer plate, stator, rotor, axle and other parts are manufactured and assembled. If the winding machine is not working properly and improper windings is done and no-one can acknowledge that winding machine is not working properly then the whole batch should be designed with defect and this will surely create negative impact on the production process of the industry. So this proposed work will overcome this problem. This paper guides to detect whether the windings are proper or not and detection is carried out by taking picture of armature-windings. If there is any problem in the windings then our system will generate an alert so that other armatures can be protected from failures. Manual results are not so accurate all the time but in manufacturing process we need high accuracy. For this skilled labor is required and for skilled labor we have to pay more, this automated system reduce the need of skilled labor. If fan manufacturing industries use this image processing system then this will be very helpful in increasing production of fans within the completion time with more accuracy
