This article identifies the physiological, neurological, and psychological determinants that arise from constraints imposed by both genetic and environmental factors, originating human behaviours. The determinants, called Ego Selves, that organise the phenomena that Eric Berne classified, structured, conceptualised, and defined to mould transactional analysis and design instruments to assist professionals and patients to adjust behaviours, are analysed. A different form of presenting the adapted Child, differentiating it from Berne’s model where the adapted Child is shown as a part of the natural Child, is presented. Parent-Adapted Child, and the Adult ego states, adjusting their manifestation and organization to the physiological development of their corres-ponding ego self, are identified, proposing that the Adapted Child is a part of the Parent ego state. Contamination is reviewed and adjusted for cons-istency between cause and effect, identifying that the contaminated ego state is the Parent ego state, creating a delusion based on injunctions that generate an illusion in the adapted Child portion of it which in turn causes the natural child’s emotional reaction, considerably limiting the Adult ego state's capabilities to intervene. Script analysis is reviewed and organised indicating that the script is a life plan initiated at conception and ending at death, and that it is indispensable for survival, having adequate and inadequate segments that may limit lifespan and quality of life. Occurrences, neurophysiological factors, and memories involved in their development and implementation are also identified. Suggestions and examples for the integrated development of intervention strategies and tactics to adjust behaviours and fulfil contracts are presented in the corresponding section.

This paper examines some of the main writings about deconfusion of the Child in the transactional analysis literature. It seeks to show how each approach defines the goals of deconfusion and the methods by which deconfusion is obtained. In doing this it clarifies the three methods which Berne proposed could be used for such deconfusion. It also attempts to show how redecision therapy adds to the literature on the topic, which to the writer's knowledge has not been done before.

Background: Transactional Analysis (TA) and egogram have been in focus for medical and educational fields. There has been a reliable personality battery, Tokyo University Egogram (TEG). Recent topic includes TEG new version 3 for clinical introduction. Using TEG ver.3, university students were investigated for their egogram pattern. Subjects & Methods: Subjects were 99 late teenagers. They were given lectures of TEG and their data was analyzed three months after the admission of the university. Results: TEG ver3 presents 33 egogram types which are related to the personality of Japanese people. Among them, there were four higher prevalence of egogram types, which were Free Child (FC) dominant, Adapted Child (AC) dominant, Critical Parent (CP) inferior and Child (C) Dominant. The percentage datum of current study vs previous standard value in each type was 10 vs 6.8%, 26 vs 6.1%, 8 vs 2.1% 9 vs 1.1%, respectively. Discussion & Conclusion: These four types are estimated as free-spirit, dependent, loose and selfishness. Elevated FC and AC would be probably due to the influence of educational and social environment in Japan. Among them, high school students must study hard for entrance exams without meaningful social experiences. Further investigation will be required for TEG.

AbstractIn this work, lipid profile migration from muscle to juice during the tilapia muscle steaming process was revealed by a transactional analysis of data from ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography coupled with Q Exactive (UHPLC-QE) Orbitrap mass spectrometry (MS) and lipidomics. Firstly, the lipids in tilapia muscles and juices at different steaming time points were extracted and examined by UHPLC-QE Orbitrap mass spectrometry. Secondly, a transactional analysis procedure was developed to analyze the data from UHPLC-QE Orbitrap MS and lipidomics. Finally, the corrected lipidomics data and the normalized MS data were used for lipid migration analysis. The results suggested that the transactional analysis procedure was efficient to significantly decrease UHPLC-QE Orbitrap MS workloads and delete the false-positive data (22.4–36.7%) in lipidomics data, which compensated the disadvantages of the current lipidomics method. The lipid changes could be disappearance, full migration into juice, appearance in juice, appearance in muscle, appearance in both muscle and juice, and retention in the muscle. Moreover, the results showed 9 (compared with 52), 5 (compared with 116), and 10 (compared with 178) of lipid class (compared with individual lipid) variables showed significant differences among the different steaming times (0, 10, 30, and 60 min) in all the muscles, juices, and muscle-juice systems, respectively. These results showed significant lipid profile migration from muscle to juice during the tilapia steaming process.

This research has purposes to test the feasibility of a transactional analysis technique group counseling guidebook to improve the self-esteem of vocational students. The guidebook product acceptance tester involved 5 experts and guidance and counseling practitioners. Testing the validity of the content of the manual product using the Lawshe formula. The result of the research based on content validity analysis is that the CVR value per item is greater than 0 (CVR > 0) and there is no item with a value less than 0 (CVR < 0). Furthermore, the results of the Lawshe CVI analysis obtained a score of 1, it can be interpreted that the acceptance of this guidebook is very high. So based on the value of the acquisition of effectiveness above, according to the criteria, showing an effect size value > 0.50, the transactional analysis technique group counseling guide can be accepted.

Faced with the challenge of Covid pandemic, the world will change its existence forever. In such circumstances of the common global crisis, humanity will form new narratives between suffering and survival. From the positioning to this experience, it will depend on whether it will remain a trauma or the deepest inner resources will be activated by building “new personal relationships” on a transpersonal level, and by forming a new alliance, versus the current alienation from nature and the planet. Spiritual resilience is the dimension of the overall mental framework, besides the cognitive, emotional and neurobiological one. This paper postulates the preventive, co-creative, and salutogenic capacity of this essential potential of one’s spiritual self even in the most painful and stressful life events. It offers the models based on Christian psychotherapy and Transactional analysis in re-emerging one’s inner power in forming adaptive coping mechanism and well-being. Within the TA we operate with the classical approach and two dimensions: intrapersonal and interpersonal and in the domain of spiritual TA- transcedental level regarding the cor self. Christian psychotherapy offers the union of the Holy Eucharist as a pastoral dimension of unity and the individual ascetic discipline through the FCP Method. Expanding the frame of reference – from the narrow anthropocentric to the wider and unlimited theocentric model – such a holistic approach can be successfully applied to all organized forms: family, organizations, and global community, thus creating a strong, aware, and compassionate society.
