COVID-19 virus causes mass death worldwide which is facing an unending battle that needs unconventional evidence in complementary and alternative medicine. This review aims to elucidate the possible health benefit of far infrared from Nuga Bed/Mat® along with its heat produced and the application of castor oil pack that has antiviral property in the management of coronavirus infection. Far infrared radiation from Nuga Bed/Mat® has low wavelength and is perceived as heat by the thermoreceptors of the human body. The presence of heat from the Nuga Bed/Mat® coming from the far infrared radiation gives sufficient health benefits including detoxification, pain relief, reduction of muscle tension, relaxation, improved circulation, boosting of the immune system and lowering of blood pressure. SARS-CoV-2 infection manifests inflammation of the vascular endothelium which prevents proper circulation of the blood and can further progress to blood clotting. Treatment with Far infrared radiation for 40 minutes to 2 hours causes the stimulation of HO-1 protein that induces anti-inflammatory activity on the vascular endothelium and other sites of inflammation. Hence, improved blood flow can be expected after an exposure with far infrared radiation. With the added castor oil, spread on the specific site which has a corresponding antiviral property, the possibility of alleviation from the symptoms associated with coronavirus infection can give a light of hope as an alternative remedy.

The pandemic, which is brought about by the SARS CoV-2 infection, has inundated the entire world and obliterated the economies of numerous nations. Hence, looking for treatment and prophylaxis of COVID-19, Quercetin, which is a flavonoid gotten from plants and different sources like grapes, onion, tomatoes, apple, and so forth and has various properties like calming property, cardioprotective, and neuroprotective properties, is inspected for its antiviral properties, so it tends to be considered as one of the adjuvant medicines alongside the pharmacological medicines like Remdesivir and plasma treatment. A survey of the antiviral property of Quercetin from distributed articles proposes that Quercetin has a solid antiviral movement towards SARS C0V-2 and other upper respiratory tract infections. It can be securely and financially used to battle COVID-19. For high-hazard populaces, this medication can be a brilliant decision of treatment. Here the authors give proof to the utilization of Quercetin in relationship with pharmacological treatments like Remdesivir or improving plasma treatment.

Viruses are estimated to be responsible for approximately 50% of the emerging plant diseases, which are difficult to control, and in some cases, there is no cure. It is essential to develop therapy practices to strengthen the management of these diseases caused by viruses in economically important crops. Metal nanoparticles (MeNPs) possess diverse physicochemical properties that allow for them to have a wide range of applications in industry, including nanomedicine and nano-agriculture. Currently, there are reports of favorable effects of the use of nanoparticles, such as antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral effects, in animals and plants. The potential antiviral property of MeNPs makes them a powerful option for controlling these histological agents. It is crucial to determine the dosage of NPs, the application intervals, their effect as a biostimulant, and the clarification of the mechanisms of action, which are not fully understood. Therefore, this review focuses on discussing the ability of metal nanoparticles and metal oxides to control viruses that affect agriculture through an exhaustive analysis of the characteristics of the particles and their interaction processes for a possibly beneficial effect on plants.

SARS-CoV-2 originated in Wuhan city of China in Dec 2019, was named COVID-19 and declared pandemic by WHO. Conventional system of medicine is seen proving ineffective in its treatment. The first case of COVID-19 was confirmed on 23rd January 2020 in Nepal and on 30th January 2020 in India. SARS, MERS and COVID-19 in China were effectively managed through Traditional System of Medicine (TSM). Glycyrrhizin like active component of medicinal herbs potentially inhibit virus replication and bear antiviral property. Government of Nepal and India released a treatment protocol for COVID-19. Protocols have taken COVID-19 on the basis of Dosha, Dhatu, Mala, etc. The symptoms of COVID-19 resemble Kapha-Vata-Samasargaj-Jawara with Pitta association (i.e. Sannipataj-Jawara). For foreign etiology of COVID-19 Ayurveda considers it Rakshayadi-Prakopa-Janya-Janapado-udhamsha and deployed management accordingly. Good immunity is important factor for arresting or preventing the disease, which can be achieved by regular administration of Rasayanas. The physician should not treat any COVID-19 infected patient without safety precautions or without informing the local authorities. Clinical researches on individual and poly herbal drugs in the protocol should be taken into series of clinical trials to test its effectiveness against COVID-19 and discover the pharmacology and prove its effectiveness and establish it among global scientific community.
