Overwork is the cause of above-normal pulses. Rest time role needed to re-normalize pulse. The research aims to design the right rest system with a Physiology and Quality Function Deployment approach in tofu craftsmen of the male gender in Kediri district. The method with the first stage performs measurements of pulse, oxygen consumption, metabolism, energy and intervention. The second stage performs a set of attributes needs of craftsmen and technical responses from MSME owners know with the final results of attribute selection based on the highest weight. The results showed an effective rest time of 233.9 minutes per 6 hours of work reviewed from the physiological approach. Rest time with Quality Function Deployment approach weighing 192.02 is worship with a time of 20 minutes; sleep weight 182.25 with a time of 60 minutes; evaluation weighed 157.84 with a time of 120 minutes; heating weighs 152.96 with a time of 20 minutes; and drinking water weighed 121.85 with a time of 13.9 minutes. With this result, a break design system can be applied to improve the performance of tofu craftsmen. Subsequent development may lead to reduced rest time but result in greater performance.

In the process of new product development, the customer's feeling is usually fuzzy phenomenon, how to evaluate various factors is to test the developer's intelligence, this study takes the new product development process as the research object, and applies the Quality Function expansion (QFD) method to establish a decision support system with fuzzy processing ability. In this study, the first development of quality function expansion (QFD) applied to Customer voice collection and analysis and conversion to product specifications. Then, the integration of fuzzy theory and the provision of different commodity development solutions as the best choice for products.

In the midst of the current pandemic, of course, many businesses are feeling the impact of financial decline. However, MSME actors in each region or city this incident could be an opportunity to improve their welfare. Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have an important role in the economy of Indonesian society. Several aspects of the role of SMEs in the life of small communities, namely, facilities to alleviate the community from the abyss of poverty, means of leveling the economic level of the small people, and providing foreign exchange income. By encouraging MSMEs to upgrade to grades, it can reduce the poverty rate by around 20% or the equivalent of removing 5 million people from poverty. In addition, it can reduce the inequality rate by about 4%. Therefore, support from various parties to improve quality in the midst of the current pandemic is needed. One of the MSMEs that currently has superior products is water hyacinth sandals and woven bags, namely the Anayamandiri UMKM assisted by the provincial Dekranasda. Improvement and improvement of product quality are basic things that must be owned by MSME actors in order to maintain and increase the number of customers. Therefore, a Quality Function Development Method is an approach to customers by creating a Voice of customer and being able to design a house of quality matrix for each UMKM product

PurposeIn the new retail era, the supply chain synergy produced by quality integration has become the new direction of service supply chain research. The purpose of this paper is to study how to promote the sustainable development of the retail service supply chain (RSSC) by comparing and analyzing the optimal quality behavior, optimal returns, and the combination of conditions and strategies of the participating members of the RSSC.Design/methodology/approachFrom the perspective of quality function development and service quality concern, this paper considers RSSC as a two-level supply chain structure composed of functional service provider and retail service integrator. In this paper, a dynamic optimization model of quality input-cooperation-coordination of RSSC is proposed under two quality cooperation modes of decentralization and integration. This paper adopts the differential game method to compare and analyze the optimal quality behavior, optimal income, forming conditions and strategic combination of the participating members of the RSSC in different situations.Findings(1) Compared with quality dispersion, quality integration has more significant Pareto improvement effect on quality behavior and optimal revenue of RSSC. (2) In the case of quality integration, the optimal revenue obtained by the service sharing model is generally better than that obtained by the retail alliance collaboration model. (3) Benefit distribution ratio and quality cost allocation determine the optimal quality behavior of participating members of the RSSC, and also become the key factors for participating members to choose the collaborative mode in the case of quality integration.Originality/valueBased on the quality function development of RSSC, this paper introduces the concept of steady service quality, and discusses the relationship between the quality cooperation stability and the mode selection of RSSC. This provides a theoretical basis for how to build a RSSC with efficient operation and stable quality.

At this time the coronavirus pandemic has resulted in new adaptations in daily life through new normal rules that have many rules against public activities such as using masks, keeping distance, and maintaining cleanliness by washing hands using water or hand sanitizer after interacting with objects or people in public areas. This resulted in increased use and demand for hand sanitizers and public facilities for handwashing. This study aims to obtain the design of cleaning tools and hand dryers that suit the wishes of the community. The method used in this application of Quality Function Development (QFD) by using matrix House of Quality (HOQ) to obtain the criteria of cleaning tools and hand dryers according to the wishes of the community. The results of this study obtained the design of automatic and integrated cleaning tools and hand dryers in one tool that uses a hand sanitizer made of natural antiseptic so that it does not require water and soap and with a price range of Rp.700.000

Helmet is a product that is generally used when riding a motorcycle, the function of the helmet is to protect body parts especially the head when accident while driving. Many of helmet product still have deficiency both in terms of form of function, in this case helmet products still have any problems in their function. The shape of the helmet that is already on the market does not pay attention to the needs of the community if the helmet is exposed to rain when stored in the outdoor. The planning and development of helmet products is then processed using Quality Function Development (QFD). The customer need regarding customer products are half face shaped helmet, full face shaped helmet, flip up shaped helmet, lightweight helmet shell materials, strong helmet shell materials, strong helmet locking locks, visor material is not easily scratched, visor material is not easily broken, visor material is not easily to blur, foam helmet is easily to clean, foam helmet is soft, foam helmet is not easily to moldy, cloth helmet is soft on the face, helmet cloth is easily to absorb sweat, cloth helmet is not easy to smell, helmet lock is easy to install, helmet in solid colour, helmet with patterned appearance, and helmet there are added feature waterproof. The technical characteristics of helmet product are the type of the shell material, the shape of the shell, the weight of the shell, the colour of the shell, the type of visor material, the colour of the visor, the type of foam material, the type of fabric material, the type of locking material, and additional features of waterproof helmet. The specification of the proposed helmet are the type of shell material in the form of ABS plastic, the shape of the helmet is half face, the weight of the helmet is 2 kg, the colour of the helmet is solid (black), the type of the visor is polycarbonate, the colour of the visor is transparent, the type of material foam is polystyrene, the type of fabric is the velor fabric, the type of locking material is quick release buckle, and additional feature are waterproof in the form of cover of taslan fabric.

Online reviews are a new source for the valuable voice of customers. By identifying the customer’s opinion, designers can comprehend the important features of a product to satisfy customer demand, thus enhancing the market competitiveness of the product. Customers have opinions on multiple aspects of products hidden in reviews, and sentiment divergence may exist. Moreover, there is a gap between customer requirements and the product’s system requirements. How to effectively analyze a large number of reviews to extract the aspect-level customer opinion and thus determine the most important product engineering characteristics in design are the critical challenges for market-driven design. A systematic requirement analysis framework is proposed in this work. First, a convolutional neural network and sentiment analysis are used for opinion mining of online reviews. Then, based on fuzzy logic, the customer sentiment divergence (which is quantified by controversy indexes) and the average sentiment of a requirement are used to determine the degree of satisfaction. Finally, based on the product’s quality function development matrix, the satisfaction and frequency of the customer requirements are used to estimate the importance of the product’s engineering characteristics, which identifies the focus of product design. A case study of a hair dryer is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed methods.

Kegagalan produk adalah kondisi suatu produk yang tidak sesuai dengan maksud atau tujuan yang diinginkan. Pengendalian kegagalan produk merupakan suatu sistem verifikasi dan penjagaan/ perawatan dari suatu tingkatan kualitas produk atau proses yang dikehendaki. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui metode yang tepat untuk digunakan dalam perancangan dan pemasangan alat bantu agar mengurangi kegagalan produk. Selain itu penelitian ini memberikan gambaran mengenai perbaikan alat bantu swing otomatis agar produk yang terbuang dapat dimanfaatkan lebih maksimal, sehingga perusahaan dapat meningkatkan keuntungannya. Dari studi literatur didapatkan perancangan dan redesign untuk perbaikan alat bantu ini baik menggunakan dua metode, yaitu : Focus Group Discussion dan Quality Function Development. Selanjutnya alat bantu swing otomatis dianalisis dan hasilnya ia dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu alternatif yang bisa membantu perusahaan mengurangi biaya produksi dan meningkatkan keuntungan perusahaan. Penggunaan sensor proksimitas yang mampu mendeteksi kontak fisik dapat digunakan untuk memudahkan perancangan swing otomatis tersebut. Dengan digunakannya solenoid valve pneumatic, menjadikan alat tersebut bekerja dengan lebih baik.

Sekop merupakan alat yang paling banyak digunakan dalam bidang pertanian. Namun, desain dan bentuk sekop yang ada saat ini dinilai belum cukup efisien untuk digunakan oleh para pengguna di Indonesia. Hal ini disebabkan karena sekop yang tersedia tidak mengacu pada antropometri yang ada sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa sekop yang ada belum sesuai dengan antropometri tubuh pengguna. Permasalahan desain dan dimensi yang tidak sesuai dengan antropometri petani dapat dipecahkan karena dimensi panjang Sekop Lipat dapat diatur sesuai kebutuhan, sehingga semua pengguna dengan berbagai postur tubuh bisa mengatur panjang sekop sesuai kebutuhan dan kenyamanannya. Brainstorming merupakan sebuah metode yang digunakan untuk membangkitkan sejumlah besar ide-ide yang kebanyakan ide-ide tersbeut akan dibuang. Dengan metode QFD, dibandingkan sekop lipat dengan 3 pesaing lainnya dengan atribut yang sama.Sub solusi dihasilkan dari penyelesaian setiap masalah yang muncul, termasuk dalam memilih atribut untuk s dengan menggunakan langkah-langkah Nigel Cross untuk mempertahankan keunggulan dan meningkatkan kualitas produk. Mengevaluasi alternatif dengan menggunakan Pairwise Comparison dan skala AHP untuk menghitung pembobotan dari setiap atribut dan menentukan ranking dari setiap alternatif. Rekayasa nilai adalah langkah terakhir dalam proses perancangan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan nilai produk untuk konsumen dan menurunkan biaya yang harus dikeluarkan oleh produsen atau penghasil produk tersebut.
