The article discusses the definition of elastic deformation - deflection of the spring of the sealing unit of the Christmas tree valve. Using variational methods, the optimal solution of the spring deflection of the gate valve sealing unit was determined. It is proved that the obtained formulas give rather accurate results of the spring deflection of the valve sealing unit.

Abstract The redesign of the water pump stuck in the district of Central Siberut is reused by using the Solar Panel as an alternative energy source. The materials and tools used are Booster pump, pipe, air valve, wash out, blow off and gate valve. The booster pump is used to pump high pressure water from the tank so that it can reach Saibi village, where Saibi village is the farthest village compared to Simulaklak village, where the distance from the tank to Simulaklak village is only 1.5 km and the tank to Saibi village is 4.5 km the elevation difference between the tank and the village of Saibi is 25 meters above sea level. The total water demand in Simulaklak and Saibi villages is 17.63 liters / second with flow rates in Simulaklak and Saibi villages of 2.25 m / sec and 1.69 m / sec, for the pump head obtained from the tank to Simulaklak village is 72,1 m and the pump head from the tank to Saibi Village is 120.31 m. The standard atmospheric pressure obtained for Simulaklak village is 10,284 mH2O and for Saibi village is 10.301 mH2O. Booster pump is an alternative that can be used for distributing water from the tank to the village.

Abstract Valve is an indispensable fluid control component in nuclear power system. Nuclear power station has a large number of gate valve equipment, which works under high temperature, high pressure, high radioactivity and other harsh conditions. In nuclear power plant accidents and economic losses, a considerable part of them are caused by valve failure. Aiming at the fault of electric gate valve, this paper proposes an anomaly detection method based on multi-kernel support vector machine. Firstly, the acoustic emission instrument is used to measure the fault state data and extract the fault features. Secondly, on the basis of classical support vector machine, multiple kernel function combinations are selected to decompose the model into convex optimization problems to realize the abnormal state detection of internal leakage fault of electric gate valve in nuclear power plant. The results show that, compared with the classical support vector machine method, the constructed support vector machine method based on multikernel learning has better effect and higher accuracy in anomaly detection of electric gate valve.

A turbocharger is an auxiliary engine that functions to supply air into the cylinder and in general every turbocharger has two sides, namely, the compressor side and the turbine side, the rotation of the turbocharger is generated from the remaining exhaust gases from combustion in the cylinder which goes to the turbine side of the turbocharger and produces rotation. on that side and also rotates at the same speed on the compressor side of the turbocharger. The amount of air that will enter the cylinder depends on the rotation of the turbocharger itself, if the rotation of the turbocharger is too fast it will produce too much air in the cylinder which results in knocking or knocking on the main drive engine, whereas if the turbocharger rotates too slowly it will result in too little quantity of air resulting in a misfire or failure of combustion in the cylinder. To determine the rotational speed of the turbocharger, we need a tool that can regulate the quantity of the remaining exhaust gases from combustion in the cylinder, namely the waste gate valve. When the writer carried out the sea practice, the writer experienced various interesting things about the waste gate valve, such as the opening that did not match the degree of the waste gate valve to the difference in the indicator readings on the waste gate valve. In this case the author will analyze the cause of the imperfect supply of air entering the cylinder caused by the non-optimal performance of the waste gate valve.

Valve berfungsi untuk mengatur, mengontrol dan mengarahkan laju aliran fluida dengan cara membuka dan menutup aliran fluida. Valve yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah jenis Gate valve, Globe valve dan Ball valve. Valve yang diuji adalah valve berukuran ¾ inchi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisa kerugian head pada 3 jenis valve, yaitu : Gate valve, Globe valve dan Ball valve. Nilai Kerugian head diperoleh berdasarkan dari variasi bukaan valve tersebut. Variasi bukaan valve tersebut adalah dimulai dari bukaan ¼, bukaan ½, bukaan ¾, dan bukaan penuh. Dari hasil pengujian dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan bukaan valve semakin besar maka nilai kerugian head (hL) nya semakin kecil. Dari hasil pengolahan data diperoleh nilai koefisien kerugian (KL) yang terendah adalah jenis gate valve, yaitu dengan nilai 74,71 pada bukaan ¼ , 16,02 pada  bukaan ½ , 2,96 pada  bukaan ¾  dan  2,29 pada bukaan penuh. Untuk jenis Globe valve dengan nilai 94,17 pada bukaan ¼, 36,51 pada bukaan ½, 25,07 pada bukaan ¾ dan 21,23 pada bukaan penuh. Untuk jenis Ball valve dengan nilai 317,47 pada bukaan ¼, 87,55 pada bukaan ½, 26,11 pada bukaan ¾ dan 4,30 pada bukaan penuh.
