AbstractIn this paper, we establish quantitative estimates for nonlinear sampling Kantorovich operators in terms of the modulus of smoothness in the setting of Orlicz spaces. This general frame allows us to directly deduce some quantitative estimates of approximation in $$L^{p}$$ L p -spaces, $$1\le p<\infty $$ 1 ≤ p < ∞ , and in other well-known instances of Orlicz spaces, such as the Zygmung and the exponential spaces. Further, the qualitative order of approximation has been obtained assuming f in suitable Lipschitz classes. The above estimates achieved in the general setting of Orlicz spaces, have been also improved in the $$L^p$$ L p -case, using a direct approach suitable to this context. At the end, we consider the particular cases of the nonlinear sampling Kantorovich operators constructed by using some special kernels.

The objective of this chapter is the exposition of a kind of “subject’s archaeology” which takes place between two poles: on the one hand, that what Husserl calls “fluent living present” and, on the other hand, this same concrete ego, but “now seen as unique and unique person”. An important step in this archaeological process has to do with personal identity considered on the level of the moral person. In this regard, this paper tries to show that the so called “moral emotions”, as interpersonal and therefore social experiences, play an important role in the constitution and revelation of the unique person each of us are. To do that I will refer to the recent book by A.J. Steinbock, Moral Emotions. Reclaiming the Evidence of Heart, which has to be considered in the more general frame of what he calls “vertical phenomenology”. In this way I try to develop Iribarne’s analysis on the mentioned chapter.

Since the introduction of R-duals by Casazza, Kutyniok and Lammers with the motivation to obtain a general version of duality principle in Gabor analysis, various R-duals and some relaxations of the R-dual setup have been introduced and studied by some mathematicians. They provide a powerful tool in the analysis of duality relations in general frame theory, and are far beyond the duality principle in Gabor analysis. In this paper, we introduce the concept of generalized weak R-dual based on a pair of frames which is a relaxation of the R-dual setup. Using generalized weak R-duals, we characterize the frame properties of a sequence and the equivalence between two frames, prove that the generalized weak R-duals of frames (Riesz bases) are frame sequences (frames), and present a coefficient expression corresponding to the canonical duals of generalized weak R-duals. Some examples are provided to illustrate the generality of the theory.

The thirty journal articles dealing with the relationship between climate change and agriculture (the latter is treated in general, i.e., as an industry) and which have gained >1000 citations are thought to be sources of the most precious information on the noted relationship. They were published between 1994 and 2011. Many are authored by West European and North American experts. The most-cited articles are attributed to three major themes and eight particular topics, and the best-explored topic is the influence of climate change on agriculture. Moreover, they provide some essential information about the strong relation of both agriculture and climate change to energy transition. The general frame characterizing complex interactions of climate change and agriculture development is proposed on the basis of the most-cited works, but it needs further detail, improvement, and update. The considered articles are basic sources with historical importance.

Historically, the form of the limited liability company was first introduced in Hungary by Act V of 1930. This type of company, which is equipped with all the advantages of members in a limited liability, was born out of the relevant necessity in the economy. However, it is quite flexible in its nature, could be established easily and demonstrates a simpler organizational structure than a company limited by shares. Therefore, the limited liability company fits within the general frame of small and medium enterprises, and is the main and most popular form of a company in Hungary. This paper gives an overview of the characteristics, regulations, foundation, organization, minority rights, business share, members and managing directors’ liabilities in Hungarian limited liability companies from a regulatory and practical perspective.

The aim of the article is to describe the patterns of realization of emotives (lexical units containing indications of emotions in their semantics) in the English-language media texts of social and political subject-matter. It is shown that there are a significant number of lexical units denoting emotions and emotional states in the English-language newspaper and magazine texts of social and political subject-matter. The analysis allows us to conclude that there are indications of both negative and positive emotions, as well as emotional and intellectual reactions and paralinguistic manifestations that accompany emotions in the studied language material. A new result of the study is a demonstration that emotives perform a text-forming function and are realized in combination with other elements of the general frame of “emotions”. Emotives in an English-language newspaper/magazine text can be classified on the basis of their relation to the nuclear or peripheral sections of the frame “emotions” of the frame structures in which they are included.

AbstractThe article explores the natural context and the geographical conditions for developing tourism and for designing sectorial plans. The objective is to offer basic visual rendering as a resource for appreciating the natural environs in which the tourist activity evolves and use such resource as useful input during the planning and designing exercises. The methodology relies on the application of cartographic and spatial tools as instruments for recognising the territory and the natural landscape. The results render the current condition of natural resources and the territorial reality, as a general frame for proposing sustainable strategies of tourism planning. The contribution of the analysis can be appreciated amid the scarcity of local and specific cartographic analysis, and the precarious stock of inputs that could guide the tourism and the territorial planning in lagged territories. An overwhelming conclusion of our exercise is that the awarness and valuations of natural endowments are key elements for preserving the environment and for applying an adequate planning strategy in order to reconcile the economic necessities and the preservation of natural environment.
