With the gradual introduction of deep learning into the field of information hiding, the capacity of information hiding has been greatly improved. Therefore, a solution with a higher capacity and a good visual effect had become the current research goal. A novel high-capacity information hiding scheme based on improved U-Net was proposed in this paper, which combined improved U-Net network and multiscale image analysis to carry out high-capacity information hiding. The proposed improved U-Net structure had a smaller network scale and could be used in both information hiding and information extraction. In the information hiding network, the secret image was decomposed into wavelet components through wavelet transform, and the wavelet components were hidden into image. In the extraction network, the features of the hidden image were extracted into four components, and the extracted secret image was obtained. Both the hiding network and the extraction network of this scheme used the improved U-Net structure, which preserved the details of the carrier image and the secret image to the greatest extent. The simulation experiment had shown that the capacity of this scheme was greatly improved than that of the traditional scheme, and the visual effect was good. And compared with the existing similar solution, the network size has been reduced by nearly 60%, and the processing speed has been increased by 20%. The image effect after hiding the information was improved, and the PSNR between the secret image and the extracted image was improved by 6.3 dB.

To improve the video quality, aiming at the problems of low peak signal-to-noise ratio, poor visual effect, and low bit rate of traditional methods, this paper proposes a fast compensation algorithm for the interframe motion of multimedia video based on Manhattan distance. The absolute median difference based on wavelet transform is used to estimate the multimedia video noise. According to the Gaussian noise variance estimation result, the active noise mixing forensics algorithm is used to preprocess the original video for noise mixing, and the fuzzy C-means clustering method is used to smoothly process the noisy multimedia video and obtain significant information from the multimedia video. The block-based motion idea is to divide each frame of the video sequence into nonoverlapping macroblocks, find the best position of the block corresponding to the current frame in the reference frame according to the specific search range and specific rules, and obtain the relative Manhattan distance between the current frame and the background of multimedia video using the Manhattan distance calculation formula. Then, the motion between the multimedia video frames is compensated. The experimental results show that the algorithm in this paper has a high peak signal-to-noise ratio and a high bit rate, which effectively improves the visual effect of the video.

Along with the development and promotion of Internet technology, new media are increasingly diversified, enriching and changing our lives. This paper focuses on outdoor interactive advertising as a communication method, analyzing its creative features and applications. Unlike traditional advertising, where audiences receive passively, new media interactive advertising establishes a more direct communication method for consumers and products, creating different sensory stimulation and emotional experience environments according to the characteristics of products and conducting a series of interactions with consumers’ sensory systems such as vision, hearing, smell, taste, and touch. The advertising method has also changed from passive reception to active participation. Finally, combining the characteristics of accurate delivery and the diversity of presentation forms of interactive advertising under the big data platform, the theme conception and form design of interactive advertising is proposed. The interactive design principles of highlighting the simplicity of the theme are explored. The interactive design principle of highlighting the simplicity of the theme is proposed, and the combination of color, text, and graphics is explored by the aesthetic visual design of the audience and the premise of focusing on the audience’s feelings. Starting from the visual effect of outdoor interactive advertising, the change in the way advertising is conveyed is interpreting to us the arrival of a new communication concept, the arrival of the Internet-centered and technology-centered data integration era. The research in this paper aims to provide useful support for the diversified development of outdoor interactive advertising in the new media environment by exploring how to skillfully realize the creative expression of outdoor interactive advertising in the new media environment.

Because most of the traditional artistic visual image communication methods use the form of modeling and calculation, there are some problems such as long image processing time, low success rate of image visual communication, and poor visual effect. An artistic visual image communication method based on Cartesian genetic programming is proposed. The visual expression sensitivity difference method is introduced to process the image data, the neural network is used to identify the characteristics of the artistic visual image, the midpoint displacement method is used to remove the folds of the artistic visual image, and the processed image is formed under the above three links. The Cartesian genetic programming algorithm is used to encode the preprocessed image, improve the fitness function, select the algorithm to improve the operation, design the image rendering platform, input the processed image to the platform, and complete the artistic visual image transmission. The analysis of the experimental results shows that the image processing time of this method is short, the success rate of visual communication is high, and the image visual effect is good, which can obtain the image processing results satisfactory to users.

Abstract. This paper discuss an application of the GIS software to analysis the visual effect from specific observation points in the historic towns. The viewshed tool in GIS platforms, including ArcGIS and QGIS, are applied in order to generate observation points and viewshed maps. Dozens of key nodes are selected in Xinchang Ancient Town, such as the protected buildings, the historic bridges, and the historic street intersections, as the observation points of viewshed analysis. The result of the analysis is to generate the viewshed map from each observation point. Subsequently, the observation points are merged and the result of the viewshed analysis of the whole ancient town is created. Based on the viewshed analysis results, the characteristics of the visual effect in the town with gentle terrain and dense building is discussed. The features of the ancient town remind elements that need attention in conservation planning, and guides the building regulation within and outside the set boarder of the protected area.

Content-aware medical image adaptation can make medical images be well presented on different display devices. The existing adaption algorithms mainly consider the visual effect of salient regions, such as specific organ areas of the patient body, but either ignore the quality of unimportant areas or execute more slowly. In order to enhance the effect of adaption and accelerate the speed of adaptation, we propose an efficient medical image adaptation method via axis-aligned mesh deformation. With this method, importance map is firstly produced by combing the weighted edge map and saliency map. Then, integer programming is used to initialize and deform the axis-aligned mesh based on importance map. Finally, image adaptation is operated rapidly by bi-linear interpolation. With the proposed method, the real-time image adaptation can be realized, and not only the visual effect of the significant areas but also the contour integrity and continuity of the non significant areas can be maintained. Experiments on open data-sets show that the proposed method has high efficiency, better effect and strong stability, and is suitable for real-time image adaptation.

Urban green spaces are intended to provide citizens with calm environments free of annoying city noises. This requires a thorough understanding of noise emission and related exposure to sounds in green spaces. This research investigates noise perception in various spots in an urban green space. For this purpose, the study has been conducted in the grand garden of the city of Dresden. The garden covers 1.8 square kilometers of various landscapes, including water streams, park railways, fountains, bridges, roads for bicycles and pedestrians etc. Noise perception was investigated at eleven spots with emphasis on four noise types: nature noise, human noise, traffic noise, and technical noise. In parallel, audio-visual recordings were conducted for each spot to identify the connection between the perceptual measures and the psychoacoustic parameters. These spots are categorized based on the resulting perception and psychoacoustic parameters. In addition, the visual effect of each spot on final perception is investigated. Eventually, annoyance for each spot is identified based on the corresponding participants' perception and is associated with the relevant psychoacoustic parameters.

This article examines visual and textual representation of blackness in contemporary black expressive culture. Its primary objective is to discern what blackness means and looks like when seen from the point of view of contemporary black expressive culture. To assess this, I first, briefly, analyze and interpret blackness. Second, I interrogate how contemporary black practitioners critique European ideas of blackness and mirror the complex multidimensionality of black subjecthood by conducting a formal analysis of two pieces of South African artist Zanele Muholi’s Somnyama Ngonyama – Hail the Dark Lioness series. Third, I explore the relationship between visual and textual imagery and their involvement in discourses on race. My intention is to reveal the role text and images play and have played in shaping the concept, perception, and representation of blackness; the visual effect they have had on the black imagination; and the heavy responsibility placed on black writers and artists not only to correct these images but to create images for the collective more often than for themselves.
