Physical health promotion has always been a way for schools to pay close attention to and devote resources to their students’ development, physical fitness, and social adaptability. To promote the improvement of students’ overall physical quality, we must begin with the foundation and school physical education. This study proposes an improved K-means algorithm based on an analysis of the influencing factors of intelligent optimization of sports facilities and equipment on students’ health quality. Clustering analysis is carried out based on two groups of data classified as boys and girls, using the improved K-means algorithm. The findings reveal that the average change trend of physical fitness test items in each male cluster is generally similar, with a moderate change. The change in the average score of physical fitness test items for each cluster of girls in the group showed two distinct valleys, and the trend was complicated. This necessitates schools to invest funds to construct venues and purchase equipment in order to increase the number of sporting events.

“Digital biomarker” is a term broadly and indiscriminately applied and often limited in its conceptualization to mimic well-established biomarkers as defined and approved by regulatory agencies such as the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA). There is a practical urgency to revisit the definition of a digital biomarker and expand it beyond current methods of identification and validation. Restricting the promise of digital technologies within the realm of currently defined biomarkers creates a missed opportunity. A whole new field of prognostic and early diagnostic digital biomarkers driven by data science and artificial intelligence can break the current cycle of high healthcare costs and low health quality that is being driven by today's chronic disease detection and treatment approaches. This new class of digital biomarkers will be dynamic and require developing new FDA approval pathways and next-generation gold standards.

AbstractHigher education institutions have in the digital transformation an opportunity to facilitate access to education for individuals of different social backgrounds. At the same time, it will provide them with the necessary tools and skills to face current global problems (poverty, health quality, income disparities, environmental crises, among others) from a transdisciplinary perspective. Progress in the digitalization of higher education has been significantly accelerated by the onset of a pandemics in early 2020 (in European conditions). Such a rapid and massive transition to distance (online) education with comprehensive support for digital technologies is unparalleled. The survey conducted reflects the consequences of this change. Results shows that digital transformation improves some of the most demanded skills in the new knowledge society (searching and processing information, digital communication and socialization or working with text). Likewise, it has an important role in reducing costs related to education, but also in degradation of abilities in personal communication.

Globally, it is widely accepted that the physical health of the young generation is continuously declining which remained unnoticed in many countries including China. Therefore, it is very important to scientifically investigate the evaluation index system and effectively interrogate the current health position of the young generation especially students. The results regarding health issues will be further investigated in terms of finding the optimal solutions for improving the status quo. Considering adolescent physical health evaluation indicators of Chinese students, this paper introduces the new era of adolescent physical health evaluation which should focus on “health quality indicators” for analyzing the objectivity and applicability of the indicators through testing and research methods. The method of simulation experiment research is used to demonstrate the scientificity and validity of the index. The optimization of the physical health evaluation indicators of adolescent students helps in assessing the health quality of adolescents, scientifically and accurately. In addition, it can effectively improve the physical health problems faced by adolescents. The proposed model achieves the evaluation indicators of adolescent health quality, collects physical health information and exercise data of adolescent students in a certain area of the northwest through big data, and conducts research as the research object. Furthermore, through the collation and analysis of the correlation data of the aerobic capacity evaluation indicators, the results show that the mid-run test value currently used in China is negatively correlated with the relative value of the measured maximum oxygen uptake on the treadmill.

The addition of oilseeds and their cakes to the diets of lactating dairy goats is an alternative to supplemental feeding, which improves the lipid profile of goat cheeses. The objective of the present study was to evaluate the effect of a diet containing extruded linseed or pumpkin seed cake on the fatty acid profile of semi-hard cheese made from goat milk. The research was carried out with 28 French Alpine goats fed the following diets: 1—basal diet based on extruded soybean and soybean meal; 2—basal diet with 90 g/kg DM extruded linseed (ELS); and 3—basal diet with 160 g/kg DM pumpkin seed cake (PSC). Bulk milk from three separated milk tanks at three samplings was used for the manufacture of four traditional semi-hard cheeses from each milk tank at each sampling on the family farm. The ELS and PSC diets increased fat content in the cheese. The ELS feeding increased the proportion of C18:1 c9, C18:2 c9t11, and C18:3 n-3 in cheese and lowered C8:0, C6:0, and C16:0, while PSC resulted in the highest C18:2 n-6 proportions in the cheese. The health-promoting index was the highest in the cheese of ELS. The ELS had a contribution to higher nutritional and health quality of semi-hard traditional goat cheeses, thus representing a food with health-promoting properties.

Context: Fibromyalgia is a debilitating syndrome characterized by scattered and multifaceted musculoskeletal pain, the presence of multiple and unstable points sensitive to pain, sleep disturbance, fatigue, and muscle inflexibility, which were damaged during mental health by the COVID-19 pandemic. In this regard, the present review study was conducted to investigate the psychological consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic in patients with fibromyalgia. Data Sources: In this review study, published articles on the psychological consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic in fibromyalgia patients in 2020 (February) and 2021 (July) were reviewed. To access relevant scientific documents, the keywords COVID-19, Chronic Pain, Fibromyalgia, Mental Health, Chronic Illness, and Psychological Anxiety in the titles and abstracts of articles published in reputable international scientific databases, such as Google Scholar, PubMed, Science Direct, Scopus, EMBASE, and PsycINFO, were searched and all related English-language articles were listed. Results: The studies showed that patients with fibromyalgia had high levels of depression, anxiety, stress, and fear during the COVID-19 pandemic. Variables such as age, gender, low level of education, sleep quality, marital status, financial status, and loneliness were associated with psychological distress and the exacerbation of symptoms in fibromyalgia patients. In contrast, social support and the use of effective coping strategies led to improved quality of life and mental health of patients. Conclusions: According to the results of studies, patients with chronic pain, including fibromyalgia patients during the COVID-19 pandemic, experienced problems in mental health, quality of life, social relationships, and sleep quality, which caused recurrence of the disease and increased anxiety and depression in them.
