Information sites for professional scientometrics community: The overview of the Third Scientific Conference “Scientometrics, bibliometrics, open data and publications in science”

The authors review the papers delivered at the Third Scientific Conference “Scientometrics, bibliometrics, open data and publications in science” held within the framework of the Sixth World Professional Forum “The Book. Culture. Education. Innovations” (“Crimea–2021”) (June 5–13, 2021, Republic of Crimea, Russian Federation). The Conference key topics discussed at its three sessions were: trends in sci-tech development, scientometric studies of scientific periodicals, as well as case studies and regional research through scientometric tools. The hot topics in Russian scientometrics are specified, including applied studies of bibliometric analysis for assessment of researchers, organizations, countries and journals, as well as of science migration streams, and theoretical development of new indicators of or search for scientometric frontiers. Within the practical part of the conference, The Basics of Bibliometrics crash course was offered to the participants. It comprised essential knowledge, competences and skills of work with science citation databases. The need for the more intensive exchange of knowledge within the Russian emerging scientometrics community to expand competences, to strengthen communication between those assessing and being assessed is substantiated. These would contribute not only scientometrics but the Russian science on the whole.

USAGE OF THE TERM "ADAPTATION" AND ITS DERIVATIVES IN RUSSIAN AND ENGLISH SCIENTIFIC PUBLICATIONS

The article presents the results of the study of the semantic-synonymous field of the concept of "adaptation". The frequency of occurrence of this term and its derivatives is compared in Russian and English scientific periodicals presented in open databases such as eLIBRARY.RU and Semantic Scholar. It has been found that both samples are characterized by the predominance of journal articles containing the broadest term “adaptation" / "adjustment". The results of the cognitive linguistic analysis of the content of Russian language concepts are presented: "adaptation" is the broadest term that describes both the process and the result of individual adaptation to environment while its three derivatives are narrower in meaning. The general definition of the concept "adaptation" for psychological texts in Russian is formulated, definitions of the concepts "adaptivity", "adaptability", "adaptedness" are analyzed. It is planned to conduct cognitive linguistic analysis of the considered categories based on English-language publications.

Transformation of German criminal legislation on responsibility for sexual crimes

The article examines the causes, process and results of the recent serious reform of the criminal legislation of the Federal Republic of Germany on responsibility for crimes against sexual self-determination (the thirteenth section of the German Criminal Code). The focus is on the Forty-ninth Law on Amendments to the Criminal Code in connection with the implementation of the Pan-European Provisions of January 21, 2015 (BGBl. 2015 I S. 10) and the Fiftieth Law on Amendments to the Criminal Code in connection with the strengthening of the Protection of human rights to Sexual self-determination of November 4, 2016 (BGBl. 2016 I S. 2460). Other acts (for example, the Sixtieth Law, which entailed the reformulation of certain provisions of the thirteenth section) are not considered, since they do not affect the specifics of criminal liability. The novelty of the study lies in the fact that for the first time in Russian scientific periodicals, the main parameters and consequences of the recent reform of criminal legislation on responsibility for sexual crimes in Germany have been outlined. Not only the decision-making process is demonstrated, but also their main causes are characterised. It is established that the main result of the reform was the transformation of the norms of the law, which now provide for liability within one paragraph (article) for violent acts of a sexual nature and for sexual harassment, which should be considered as sexual acts without the use of violence, any threats and without using the helpless state of the victim, committed contrary to the recognisable or unrecognisable will of the latter.

Directory of Scientific-Periodicals of Georgia

This publication is an English-language version of the Directory of Georgian Scientific Periodicals. The directory contains the bibliographies of 149 international scientific periodicals that have been assigned ISSN by the ISSN International Centre and the Georgian National Centre and which reflect to a certain extent their preparedness for entering international scientific literature databases. The publication details are taken from official journal websites, are publisher-checked and certified. The directory data served as a basis for the Georgian scholarly journals’ monitoring and identifying the international scientific literature database entry criteria: publications’ peer-review, periodicity, independent website, international editorial board membership, DOI (Digital Object Identifier) assignment, the state of indexing in academic databases, etc.

Organizational-Economic Trends and Urgent Problems of Digitalization of the Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The purpose of this scientific article is to identify modern trends in the formation of the economic and organizational foundations for the development of the digital economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, to identify the main problems in these areas and ways to solve them. The main initial data for writing a scientific article were official statistical information in the field of development of communications and information and telecommunication technologies, scientific periodicals, including the near and far abroad, practical data of entrepreneurial structures directly leading production and economic activities in the digital and computer technology. The hypothesis of scientific research is the need to form the institutional foundations for building a digital economy, focused on the implementation of infrastructural development of digitalization processes at the macro and micro levels. The institutional framework affects both the public sector and the business entrepreneurship sector. In the strategic period for the development of the digital economy, indicative programs for business structures, as well as organizational scenarios for the state, should be developed. The main methods of scientific research were analytical and synthetic, statistical, computational, and analytical research methods, the method of hypotheses. As the results of the study, attention was focused on the dynamics of the contribution of digitalization processes to the economic growth of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the main economic problems that hinder the intensification of the development of the digital economy were identified. The main scientific contribution of the study is focused on the priorities for solving the problems of digitalization of the economy within the strategic and long-term periods, including micro- and macroeconomic levels.

Pesquisa Científica em Inovação no Brasil: Análise na Base de Dados Spell

Esse estudo teve por objetivo verificar as características da pesquisa científica em Inovação no Brasil. Este trabalho possui natureza exploratória e utilizou a técnica de análise sistemática. A pesquisa foi baseada em fontes secundárias a partir da base de dados Scientific Periodicals Electronic Library- SPELL. O período analisado contemplou o período entre 1995 a outubro de 2018, mês de realização da pesquisa. Para a busca, utilizou-se a palavra-chave inovação em título do documento, resumo e palavras-chave. Foram encontrados 401 artigos, sendo validados pelo critério de filtros 353, que compuseram a base de dados dessa pesquisa. Os resultados evidenciaram que os temas que emergiram da análise dos artigos gestão da inovação e inovação tecnológica possuem maior índice de pesquisa. Dentre os artigos que fazem referência à metodologia empregada predominam os artigos de natureza qualitativa descritiva, bem como o paradigma não positivista.

Application of Polymers as a Tool in Crystallization—A Review

The application of polymers as a tool in the crystallization process is gaining more and more interest among the scientific community. According to Web of Science statistics the number of papers dealing with “Polymer induced crystallization” increased from 2 in 1990 to 436 in 2020, and for “Polymer controlled crystallization”—from 4 in 1990 to 344 in 2020. This is clear evidence that both topics are vivid, attractive and intensively investigated nowadays. Efficient control of crystallization and crystal properties still represents a bottleneck in the manufacturing of crystalline materials ranging from pigments, antiscalants, nanoporous materials and pharmaceuticals to semiconductor particles. However, a rapid development in precise and reliable measuring methods and techniques would enable one to better describe phenomena involved, to formulate theoretical models, and probably most importantly, to develop practical indications for how to appropriately lead many important processes in the industry. It is clearly visible at the first glance through a number of representative papers in the area, that many of them are preoccupied with the testing and production of pharmaceuticals, while the rest are addressed to new crystalline materials, renewable energy, water and wastewater technology and other branches of industry where the crystallization process takes place. In this work, authors gathered and briefly discuss over 100 papers, published in leading scientific periodicals, devoted to the influence of polymers on crystallizing solutions.

Engajamento no trabalho: Estudo Bibliométrico da Produção Científica Nacional nas Plataformas CAPES e SPELL (2010-2019)

Este artigo teve por objetivo realizar uma análise bibliométrica da produção nacional de artigos sobre engajamento no trabalho, no período entre 2010 a 2019, tendo como referência trabalhos indexados à base de periódicos da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES) e a plataforma eletrônica da Scientific Periodicals Electronic Library (SPELL). Foram identificados 74 artigos, entre os quais 15 foram efetivamente analisados, uma vez que seu conteúdo trata do engajamento enquanto elemento do comportamento organizacional. Conclui-se que, a discussão sobre o tema ainda é incipiente, sua difusão dar-se em periódicos sobre administração, gestão e psicologia, não há concentração expressiva das publicações em relação à questão de autoria, o construto tem sido problematizado de forma individual ou em associação a outras temáticas comportamentais, a realização das pesquisas têm se fundamentado, predominantemente, em instrumentos de diagnóstico tridimensionais e as contribuições dos estudos refletem fenômenos e processos organizacionais.

Consulenza contabile amministrativa: un nuovo modo di fare impresa attraverso la tecnologia

Obiettivo: Descrivere l’impatto degli ostacoli e delle potenzialità che la tecnologia ha portato alla consulenza contabile. Domanda: In che modo la consulenza contabile amministrativa può aiutare un’azienda a utilizzare le tecnologie? Metodi: Lo studio è una rassegna bibliografica. È stata condotta una ricerca con i descrittori: tecnologia; innovazione; contabilità; sulla piattaforma dati di Spell (Scientific Periodicals Electronic Library) nel giugno 2021. La perquisizione ha portato a 10 articoli. Risultati: i risultati portati come ostacoli: Il crescente progresso tecnologico, adattarsi all’uso di queste nuove tecnologie, Centralità del ruolo del contabile nei modelli tradizionali, Mancanza di conoscenza del software,Mancanza di forza lavoro specializzata, malfunzionamento della connessione, manodopera qualificata. E come potenzialità: Utilizzo di diverse tecnologie digitali, Agilità e guadagno di tempo, Convenienza, rapporto inseparabile tra tecnologia e contabilità consultiva promuovendo un supporto agile e di qualità ai suoi vari utenti, soddisfazione del cliente, velocità e flessibilità e riduzione dei costi. Conclusioni: È chiaro che le tecnologie dell’informazione influenzano positivamente l’esercizio della contabilità consultiva, anche se oltre ai vantaggi presenta i suoi svantaggi. Vale la pena ricordare che le tecnologie consentono il controllo delle informazioni contabili per l’ingresso e l’uscita di materiali e input, nonché la loro origine e destinazione finale, evitando perdite inutili, tra cui deviazioni, agilità, flessibilità e sicurezza.
