Present technology used for soft material cutting robot are laser, water-jet, ultrasonic, plasma and oxy-gas cutting. The scope for designing and fabrication of soft material cutting robots are increasing due to its cost effectiveness and quality of cutting. Cartesian robots are mainly used in assembly and manufacturing applications. They also have a high degree of mechanical rigidity, accuracy, and repeatability. A previous work of more elementary kind was used as a skeleton model to start this work The purpose of the work is the maintenance and implementation of a 4 Degree of freedom robot and also to provide intelligence to the robot using Fuzzy logic and Neuro-Fuzzy for soft material cutting. The kinematic modeling of robot manipulator is done using Denavit-Hartenberg (D-H) parameterization method and Euler-Lagrange method is used for dynamic analysis to determine actuator torque for each joint. The image is acquired with the help of the digital camera which is fixed in a suitable position so that it can scan the entire workspace. Prewitt edge detection algorithm was used for image processing and analysis. The signal for the cutting is interfaced through the Arduino Uno r3 controller.

Sappan wood contains substances that have health benefits. The community has made use of sappan wood in various forms, such as powder and shavings. In addition, sappan products are found in the form of blocks and spindles. If the product is in the form of blocks or logs, then people can recognize several characteristics of a wood, such as color, texture, hardness and weight. This will be more difficult to do if the product is in the form of powder or shavings. These advantages can be utilized in forms that have a specific purpose, such as the use function and decoration function. The use function can be done by soaking sappan wood using water, at a certain temperature and time. The process will produce a solution with a certain content which can be measured based on the absorbance value. The decoration function can be carried out by forming the sappan wood using the chisel principle, reducing the volume of raw materials. This research was conducted to determine the impact of shape on the concentration of content in sappan wood, so that it produces considerations that can be used in designing a product made from sappan wood. Experiments were carried out on 4 types of treatments, N specimens representing the treatment of repeated use, LPA and LPB specimens representing different surface area treatments, and specimens V representing treatments with different volumes. Each treatment produced a solution which was measured using UV-Vis Spectorphotometry. The measurement results in each specimen solution show the absorbance value can be taken into consideration in designing a product made from sappan wood. The things that need to be considered are the distance between cavities, product thickness and material cutting patterns.

AbstractThis article deals with the adjustment of a 3D printer for laser engraving and material cutting. The print head can be fitted with a solid laser diode module, which achieves a compact size while retaining its useful power. Two paths lead to the use of such a concept. It is possible to equip the existing print head with a module, which also brings a number of disadvantages such as, for example, the reduction of the printing space or the need for a suitable mounting design. A more elegant solution is to consider this in the design of a 3D printer and design a system to exchange the print heads for 3D printing and laser engraving. Such a solution allows full utilization of the workspace and simple installation of the effector for the required type of work. According to the installed power of the laser diode, it is possible not only to engrave but also cut material such as thin wood, veneer or acrylic glass. The use of such a machine is not only for graphic elements but for the creation of various stencils, boxes or simple models, which can be made up of plastic-burning pieces. The laser module is controlled by a driver, which is designed for the device. This is connected to a 3D printer control board. It is, therefore, necessary for the control board to have at least two pins, which can be controlled after adjusting the control firmware. Most laser modules are normally equipped with an adjustable lens, which is used to concentrate the focus of a laser for the given distance against the worktop. Thus, the modified 3D printer can perform its function as a multi-purpose CNC machine, while a basic platform similar for both devices is used.

CV Upgrade Graphic Design, perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang periklanan, utamanya di material cutting sticker, sticker printing, one way, vision, sticker sablon, sticker poliplex, dan segala jenis sticker. Media promosi yang digunakan oleh banyak perusahaan sticker saat ini masih banyak yang hanya menampilkan hasil design dalam bentuk dua dimensi (2D) pada objek motor atau sekedar print out dalam bentuk kertas hingga banyak konsumen yang kurang puas dengan hasil design yang ditampilkan tersebut. Penelitian ini membuat hasil design yang di tampilkan dalam bentuk tiga dimensi (3D) menggunakan aplikasi blender dan seolah-olah ada di dalam sebuah ruangan bengkel sticker, serta memiliki fitur capture, rotate dan hanya menampilkan sticker motor yang sudah disediakan dalam aplikasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan bahasa pemograman C# (C Sharp) dan aplikasi game engine unity 3D  5.6.2f1. Dengan adanya aplikasi yang di tampilkan dalam bentuk 3D maka hasil desain dari sticker motor mendapatkan daya tarik lebih terhadap peminatnya, dari hasil pengujian aplikasi sticker motor scoopy ini memiliki persentase rata-rata 99%.
