In India major road accident is based on potholes. To identify this potholes and humps in roads may reduces the road accident and also reduces the damages in cars and bike. To identify the holes and humps or speed breakers, the ultra sonic sensor, display board and buzzer also used in it. Project is mainly used in the prototype model of the vehicle which has the capable to find holes and humps in the road. When the vehicle identify the holes and hump it started showing the distance of obstacles, once the distance of obstacles reduced to 10m range the buzzer gives the alarm signals to drives that obstacles is near to vehicle so that they can reduces the speed of the vehicle and go slow through the obstacles or they can change the path. The display board given near the dash board that drivers can easily view the board and buzzer is given inside the vehicles and ultrasonic sensors given in the front of the bumper so it act efficiently. Here the arduino board is used for the power supply and programs, so this project reduces the accident occurs in the road due to holes and humps.

: The article focusses on the working principle of devising a display board and introduction to a working model of a single unit of a novel prototype of a computer display board for blind people. Objective: The developed prototype is aimed at converting a conventional computer screen to a braille screen based tactile display board. The arrangement will enable the blind people to accesses soft data as a converted braille language text. In addition, the position of the write-up will also be recognizable by the blind. Methods: The system employs six number of micro linear actuators providing haptics feedback. Results: The ABCD display unit was tested with the blind and was found to be received well by the community. According to the survey, this raised dot mechanism is very effective for blind communication.

The research sought to investigate the surface roughness parameter (Zo) and wind shear exponent (α) of Kisii region (elevation 1710m above sea level, 0.68°S, 34.79°E). A six-month experiment was set at three sites of Kisii region. Two PRO AcuRite 01036 Wireless Weather Stations with pro+ 5-in-1 Sensors were placed at different hub heights above the ground and data were sent and received by a display board set at a room through remote sensing at an interval of 12 minutes. Data was collected from the display board through the pc connect software, grouped into discrete data and then calculated to represent mean wind speed, diurnal variation, daily variation, and monthly variations. The calculated averages of wind speeds at hub heights of 10m and 13m were then used to determine the wind shear exponent and surface roughness parameter of the sites. The wind shear exponents were found to be 0.92, 0.41, and 0.54 for Nyamecheo, Kisii University, and Ikobe stations, respectively, with an average of 0.64. The roughness parameter was also calculated and found to be 3.75, 1.32, and 1.96 for Nyamecheo, Kisii University (KSU), and Ikobe, respectively, with an average of 2.35.

Background: Tobacco kills more than 7 million people a year. India has one of the world’s heaviest tobacco-related health burdens. The government of India has enacted the Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act (COTPA) 2003 to control the factors which favor the use of tobacco products. The present study was taken up with the objective to determine the proportion of educational institutions having display boards prohibiting tobacco sales and use, having advertisements & tobacco selling outlets nearby and to assess the awareness regarding rules for tobacco sales among the persons selling tobacco products in these outlets. Methods: Cross-sectional study conducted from October to December 2017, in all the educational institutions of Mandya city using a pretested, structured questionnaire. Descriptive and inferential statistics was used for analysis. Results: Of the 92 educational institutions 13 (14.1%) had “No smoking” display boards. 30 (32.6%) had the display board that sale of tobacco products is prohibited within a radius of 100 yards of the educational institution. 146 tobacco selling outlets were present near the 71 educational institutions. 19 (13.0%) sellers knew that sale of tobacco products is prohibited within a radius of 100 yards of the educational institution. Conclusions: One sixth of the educational institutions had “No smoking” display boards and one third had display board that stated that the sale of tobacco products was prohibited within a radius of 100 yards of the educational institution. The awareness regarding sale of tobacco products was inadequate among the persons selling tobacco products.

Communication is very important in our everyday living. Posting announcements and information is one way of communication. Normally, in some business leisure, school premises and community at large, if a person wants everybody to know important information, he uses notes and then post it in different areas. Traditionally, announcements, advertisements and important information have been provided by way of fixed sheets which are pasted to a backing. This manner is very tiring and energy and time consuming. Moreover, those important information, most of the times, are not read by the concerned personnel due to some presumptions that no new information is posted. With these, it becomes one of the major problems encountered by the teachers, employees, students and parents in Lemery Senior High School. This Research, Development of Content Based e-System Bulletin Board is a system that will lessen the time, energy and effort by the person informing important messages by applying the new technologies of moving led matrix display board through Arduino Microcontroller IDE. The system will also provide convenience to its user as it will just type in the laptop or desktop computer keyboard the announcement and display it digitally moving in the led matrix display board. Using the system, the school administrations will save time and effort on posting important announcements. The project is eye-catchy and it can be used to inform most of the students and teachers of something very important. The project is deemed to disseminate timely and important information’s. The system will not only help the teachers and its employees but also all the students of Lemery Senior High School.
