This project is based embedded system used for monitoring the voltage, current, and temperature and oil level of a transformer. Furthermore it is capable of recognizing the break downs caused due to overload, high temperature, over voltage and oil level intimation of transformer. The design generally consists of units, one in the substation unit, called as display unit, display units in the substation is where the voltage, current and temperature are monitored continuously by AVR microcontroller and is displayed through the display unit. The ultimate objective is to monitor the electrical parameters continuously and hence to guard the burning of transformer or power transformer due to the constraints such as overload, over temperature, input high voltage and double protection of CB operation by using the Internet of Things (IoT).

Attendance records are one of the main administrative roles on campuses. Therefore, several technologies can be used on an attendance system, including barcode, radio frequency identification (RFID), fingerprint, and faceprint. The main functions of attendance systems on campuses are mainly focused on how to obtain the attendee data list, store on the database, and display the list on the information system. This research proposes an attendance system in the smart classroom which supports the system’s previous activities as well as its integration with security and classroom management. In this system, the NodeMCU which was connected to the Wi-Fi router served as the controller, while the fingerspot revo FF-153BNC functioned as the system input. In addition, the database server was used to allocate attendee and classroom management data. This system is connected with the information system and classroom display unit, and component and system testing were applied in this research. The results showed that each system unit successfully integrated and managed the attendance, security, and classroom schedule.

Democracy is a gift from the golden throne; from 2008, Bhutanese people started to choose their leader by casting a vote. The right to vote and more importantly the exercise of franchise by the eligible citizens is the heart of every democracy [1]. Through this exercise of their right to vote have the ultimate power to shape the destiny of country by electing representatives who run the government and make decisions for the growth, development, and benefit of all the citizens. However, the voter turnout seems to be decreasing at an alarming rate based on the Election Commission of Bhutan [5]. This paper proposes an electoral process aiming at better voter turnout. It replaces whole electoral system using Biometric Fingerprint scanner for the voter authentication and a display unit connected to a central database which helps a voter to cast their vote from nearest polling station instead of having to go to his/her polling station to cast vote. It is a hybrid of internet voting and a traditional electronic voting method where the system uses electronic equipment at the nearest polling station to cast vote instead of using a personal laptop or mobile phone to cast vote using an app. The hybrid system is adopted with the major findings shown in “Internet Voting in Estonia” [13] which is a small country and suitable to adopt internet voting.

Dynamic accommodation under natural viewings, such as driving, could be affected by the lighting condition. This study aimed to investigate the accommodation rock after the visual display unit (VDU) activity with and without ambient lighting. It was measured in cycle minute (cpm) with Hart Chart before and after each lighting condition's VDU activity. The VDU activity involved a one-hour visual task in 30 young adults. There was significant different [c2(3) = 23.42, p<0.001, Friedman test] in accommodative rock with VDU activity under different lightings. Low lighting lowered the rapid change of accommodation at different distances under natural viewing.

: The article focusses on the working principle of devising a display board and introduction to a working model of a single unit of a novel prototype of a computer display board for blind people. Objective: The developed prototype is aimed at converting a conventional computer screen to a braille screen based tactile display board. The arrangement will enable the blind people to accesses soft data as a converted braille language text. In addition, the position of the write-up will also be recognizable by the blind. Methods: The system employs six number of micro linear actuators providing haptics feedback. Results: The ABCD display unit was tested with the blind and was found to be received well by the community. According to the survey, this raised dot mechanism is very effective for blind communication.

Energy may be a key ingredient for the development of a nation. India is a country that is profusely endued with renewable energy sources. It is an outsized nation and the rate of electrification have not unsubdued speed with the increasing people, development and industrialisation has resulted in the increasing shortage between need and supply of electricity. Individuals who are not provided the facility grid need to be dependent on fossil fuels like diesel and petrol for his or her power wants and additionally incur significant revenant expenditure. We have taken initiative to design and implement a pump which will be operated on multiple energy sources. The pump is operated by taking power from the prevailing AC grid and facility taken from the standalone electrical photovoltaic system. The pump works on renewable solar power and whenever there is a shortage of solar power, it is switched to AC grid. Additionally, to the system, a self-display unit has been put in within the pump. This unit helps the buyer to observe the motor parameters like voltage, current and frequency any time. This unit helps in reducing the value for putting in a separate meter close to the starter of the pump. This increases the compactness of the pump.

Vehicles need repair after a certain interval of time and if are not repaired at fixed intervals it can lead to accidents. The objective of the project is to continuously notify the owner about the air pressure of tire, quality of exhaust gas, wear of breaks, leakage of oil, the excessive heating of the engine or the blockage in fuel pipe, etc. Tire pressure monitoring sensor is used to get live tire pressure reading, gas sensor gives the readings of amount of carbon dioxide (CO2), Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) etc. as amount and quality of exhaust gives the proper working condition of engine, flow sensor is used that senses the over flow of oil or leakage of oil, temperature sensor is employed in the engine that warns the owner about overheating of engine and a flow sensor is used that senses the proper flow of fuel in the pipe. All these sensor data is displayed on LCD display unit integrated with Arduino microcontroller.

This paper presents a new compact single beam advanced echosounder system designed to estimate fish count in real time. The proposed device is a standalone system, which consists of a transducer, a processing unit, a keypad, and a display unit to show output. A fish counting algorithm was developed and implemented in the device. The device is capable of performing all the functions required for fish abundance estimation including target strength calculation, simultaneous echo integration, and echogram generation. During operation, the device analyzes ping data continuously and calculates various parameters in real time while simultaneously displaying the echogram and results on the screen. The device has been evaluated by technical verification in a lab and on-site experiments. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed device is on par with a commercial echosounder and is capable of accurately estimating the fish abundance. The proposed device is beneficial for fish management.
