This paper proposes and experimentally investigates a novel nondestructive testing method for ferromagnetic elements monitoring, the Magnetic Recording Method (MRM). In this method, the inspected element must be magnetized in a strictly defined manner before operation. This can be achieved using an array of permanent magnets arranged to produce a quasi-sinusoidal magnetization path. The magnetic field caused by the original residual magnetization of the element is measured and stored for future reference. After the operation or loading, the magnetic field measurement is repeated. Analysis of relative changes in the magnetic field (for selected components) allows identifying applied stress. The proposed research methodology aims to provide information on the steel structure condition unambiguously and accurately. An interpretation of the results without referring to the original magnetization is also possible but could be less accurate. The method can be used as a standard technique for NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) or in structural health monitoring (SHM) systems.

Legal arrangements for child exploitation during the Covid-19 pandemic have not yet been included in the Criminal Code (KUHP). So that parents who employ their children as hawkers are still free from legal snares and can easily justify economically. This study aims to examine the legal arrangements for perpetrators of criminal acts of child exploitation as hawkers and reveal criminal sanctions for perpetrators of acts of exploitation of children as hawkers during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research method uses normative legal research by applying a conceptual approach and legislation. The data used are primary, secondary and tertiary legal data obtained by the recording method. After the data has been collected, the next step is to process and analyze it in a systematic way with legal intervention. The results of the study show that legal arrangements for perpetrators of criminal acts of exploitation of children during the Covid-19 pandemic, one of which is child exploitation, are not specifically regulated in Article 13 of Law no. 35 of 2014 amendments to Law no. 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection. Therefore, in this case there is a void of norms, but the crime of child exploitation based on the provisions of Article 103 of the Criminal Code states that crimes against children are a special crime. Related to criminal sanctions, they are sentenced to a maximum imprisonment of ten years or a maximum fine of Rp. 200,000,000.00 (two hundred million rupiah

The Xenopus tadpole visual system shows an extraordinary extent of developmental and visual experience–dependent plasticity, establishing sophisticated neuronal response properties that guide essential survival behaviors. The external development and access to the developing visual circuit of Xenopus tadpoles make them an excellent experimental system in which to elucidate plastic changes in neuronal properties and their capacity to encode information about the visual scene. The temporal structure of neural activity encodes a significant amount of information, access to which requires recording methods with high temporal resolution. Conversely, elucidating changes in the temporal structure of neural activity requires recording over extended periods. It is challenging to maintain patch-clamp recordings over extended periods and Ca2+ imaging has limited temporal resolution. Extracellular recordings have been used in other systems for extended recording; however, spike amplitudes in the developing Xenopus visual circuit are not large enough to be captured by distant electrodes. Here we describe a juxtacellular tetrode recording method for continuous long-term recordings from neurons in intact tadpoles, which can also be exposed to diverse visual stimulation protocols. Electrode position in the tectum is stabilized by the large contact area in the tissue. Contamination of the signal from neighboring neurons is minimized by the tight contact between the glass capillaries and the dense arrangement of neurons in the tectum. This recording method enables analysis of developmental and visual experience–dependent plastic changes in neuronal response properties at higher temporal resolution and over longer periods than current methods.

Background: It is generally believed that the anticholinesterase effect is induced by the organophosphate insecticide parathion only through its bioactive metabolite (i.e., paraoxon) that is created in the liver. Objectives: This study aimed to evaluate the intrinsic anticholinesterase effect of parathion, compared to its main metabolite. Methods: This study has been conducted to prepare the isolated chick biventer cervicis nerve-muscle using the twitch tension recording method. Results: According to the results, paraoxon (0.1 µM) induced a highly significant increase (more than 100%) in the twitch height, while higher concentrations (0.3 and 1 µM) induced partial or total contractures. Furthermore, parathion induced almost the same percentage of increase in the twitch height at 1 µM and partial or total contractures at 3 and 10 µM. It should be noted that pralidoxime (2-PAM), at 300 µM, reversed the effects of paraoxon and its parent (i.e., parathion). Conclusion: These results demonstrate that both parathion and its metabolite inhibit the acetylcholinesterase enzyme which can be reactivated by pralidoxime, whereas parathion is about 10 times less potent, compared to its metabolite. Therefore, the intrinsic toxic effects of parathion, regardless of its metabolite, should be considered in future studies.

This article deals with the problem of embedding personal data into replicated photopolymer security holograms with a maximal preservation of the hologram area during its visualization. A method of recording personalized security holograms on a photopolymer material is proposed. By this method main security hologram with a visualized image includes an additional computer-generated Fourier microhologram with individual personalized data. The synthesis algorithm and a technical implementation of the Fourier microhologram recording method are presented. The efficiency of the proposed method is confirmed by experimental studies on recording and reading of personalizing Fourier microholograms.

The possibility of vehicle steering system diagnosis based on analysis and visualization data processing is considered. The video recording method for the diagnostic troubleshooting of steering system and front suspension group is proposed. The method provides for placement of the motor vehicle on the diagnostic station, with further webcamera installation for measuring the steering wheel rotation angle and clear contract marking on the steering joint under experiment, setting the webcamera to fix and record the beginning of the movement steering joint under experiment, the video registration of the steering test results and further video processing using dedicated software. The outcomes of the evaluation of the method is delivered.

This study uses sociopragmatic theory, especially regarding code-mixing in speech acts at opening an event, greeting the listeners, and talking to interviewees. The purpose of writing is to determine the form of code-mixing and explain the meaning of the code-mixing used by the radio announcer, whether it is entered into locus, illocution, or perlocution. This paper is divided into three stages. The first stage is to provide data using the listening method by listening to radio broadcasts followed by the recording method. At the analysis stage, the data obtained were analyzed using related theories. At the last stage, it is making the conclusions and suggestions. In this research, the average Classy FM radio announcers use code-mixing in their speech acts when broadcasting. Apart from being influenced by the names of the programs that is titled in English, it is also influenced by the standardization of the words used by Classy FM itself. For example, to invite the listeners to keep listening, the term”keep in tune" is used. The term of Classy FM listeners refers to the term ”Classy People," and many other terms are used. Besides, it is also found that in one speech act, there are three types of actions that are included in it, namely the act of locus, illocution, and perlocution. Although there are also some data found only in the locus (speech acts to state something).
