The aim of the research is to develop a mathematical model of the hydraulic injector of the flushing system and to determine the design parameters of the injector that ensure the destruction of milk deposits on the surface of the elements of the milking parlor of complex geometric configuration. A physical and mathematical model of the process of operation of the hydraulic injector of the flushing system has been developed, which creates a jet of detergent solution of directed action for cleaning the inner surfaces of the milk system. As a result of theoretical researches dependences of radius of a site of blow of a stream Ra and its pressure on a surface of milk pipe system pa on internal diameter of a nozzle dn, distance to it Hj at various values of pressure on an exit of a nozzle pn are received. Using the element base of the milking equipment, a low-pressure centrifugal type milk pump (≈ 3 atm) was selected as the basic hydraulic pressure generator. The dn = 2.1 mm, Hj = 16.6 cm, Ra = 23.6 mm. As a result of experimental studies of the hydroinjector of the flushing system, the dependences of the value of the force of the cleaning solution jet on the surface Fa and the degree of cleaning of the surface from milk deposits after flushing χ from the nozzle outlet pressure pn, the distance between the nozzle and the surface Hj and its inner diameter dn. Visual and statistical (according to Fisher's criterion F = 1,68 <F0,05 (6,30) = 2,42 and correlation coefficient R = 0,97) comparison of theoretical and experimental results of researches allows to assert about adequacy and logic of the received dependences of force of action. jet of detergent solution on the surface of Fa from the research factors in the appropriate range of their values. Pn = 500 kPa, dn = 0.00175 m, Hj = 0.191 m were determined as rational design and mode parameters of the hydroinjector from the condition of the maximum degree of cleaning of the surface from milk deposits after washing χ = 40.1%.

Aim: To determine the denture cleaning routine and habits in complete denture wearers according to cleaning frequency, patient age and life of dentures. Methods: In this cross-sectional study, a self-administered questionnaire was designed to learn about patient’s attitudes toward denture cleanliness in the Prosthodontics department. A detailed questionnaire was applied for total 130 patients visiting the Department of Prosthodontics in the Rehmat memorial postgraduate hospital Abbottabad for follow-up care. Data was recorded and analysed by using SPSS version 15.0 for results. Results: Total 130 participants including 90 males (69.3%) and 40 females (30.7%). 48.6% of participants clean their dentures every day, 32.9% once a week, and 18.5 % only occasionally. The highest percentage is seen in Group 1, which is 41.2%. Approximately 77% of Group 2 participants clean their dentures at least once a week, including both daily and once-a-week denture wearers. 71 individuals had been wearing dentures for 3-5 years. 41.2% of them clean their dentures every day, while 58.6 percent clean them twice a week. 6-8 years denture wearers do not clean them on a regular basis. Most patients 42% use only water, while 30% use a combination of water and a toothbrush. Around 20% of participants used soap and water, but only 8% of denture wearers utilised cleansing tablets in addition to water. There was significant difference among all groups (P=0.001). Conclusion: In this study it has been observed that full denture patients have trouble cleansing their dentures. A lack of regular cleaning practises and decreased use of cleaning solutions is the primary cause of poor denture hygiene among the seniors. Dentists should educate patients regarding optimal denture maintenance and materials used for cleaning verbally and in written form. Abstract The purpose of this study was to see if Cymbopogon schoenanthus aerial extract (CSA extract) could reduce the corrosion of aluminum brass in acid cleaning solutions in the distillation plant. For this assessment, measurements of weight loss and polarization technique have all been used. We discovered that at 250 ppm, the efficiency of CSA extract was excellent (97%). Polarization assessments confirmed that the organic compounds in CSA extract were effective mixed-type corrosion inhibitors. HPLC and FTIR analysis were used to explore the key chemical components of CSA extract. CSA extract caused the corrosion process to have a higher energy barrier. Observations of SEM and FT-IR spectra confirmed that CSA extract prevents corrosion attacks at the aluminum brass’s surface.
