Abstract Merawu watershed is one of the upstream areas of Serayu Watershed that serves as catchment area and protect the downstream area. In addition, the condition of natural landscape development which is accompanied by population growth potentially affects spring water ecosystem services. This study aims to determine the potential condition of spring as one of water providers in Merawu, then also to analyze the status of spring. Water balance analysis and Pollution Index (IP) analysis ecosystem services management were used. In this study, 12 springs were discovered with Kasimpar spring having the highest discharge (5.01 liters/second). The overall condition of the spring ecosystem services is one of surplus water / carrying capacity has not been exceedee (Dda ratio > 1), and the condition appropriate with water quality standards (IP <1). In conclusion, this study plays an important thing to figure it out about the existence of water ecosystem services in this area, as well as being a pioneer study on Payment for Ecosystem Services (PES) model in Banjarnegara Regency with an integrated upstream-downstrean concept and based on the principle of sustainability

Anodized aluminum oxide (AAO) nanochannels of diameter, D, of ~50 nm and length, L, of ~60 µm (L/D: approx. 1200 in the aspect ratio), were synthesized and applied as an electrode for the electrochemical growth of Co/Cu multilayered heterojunction nanocylinders. We synthesized numerous Co/Cu multilayered nanocylinders by applying a rectangular pulsed potential deposition method. The Co layer thickness, tCo, ranged from ~8 to 27 nm, and it strongly depended on the pulsed-potential condition for Co layers, ECo. The Cu layer thickness, tCu, was kept at less than 4 nm regardless of ECo. We applied an electrochemical in situ contact technique to connect a Co/Cu multilayered nanocylinder with a sputter-deposited Au thin layer. Current perpendicular-to-plane giant magnetoresistance (CPP-GMR) effect reached up to ~23% in a Co/Cu multilayered nanocylinder with ~4760 Co/Cu bilayers (tCu: 4 nm and tCo: 8.6 nm). With a decrease in tCo, (ΔR/Rp)−1 was linearly reduced based on the Valet–Fert equation under the condition of tF > lFsf and tN < lNsf. The cobalt spin-diffusion length, lCosf, was estimated to be ~12.5 nm.

Kata kunci: Biodiesel, metil ester, transesterifikasi langsung, ulat jerman Abstract The aims for this studies was to determine the optimum reaction time of biodiesel from superworm (Zophobas morio L.) using H2SO4 catalyst by direct transesterification method. Reaction times 8, 12, 16, and 20 hours in two different conditions (comparison of hexane-methanol solvents 1:2 and 1:5) were investigated. The results of this study have not yet found optimal time in both conditions. It was found that the most potential condition of biodiesel products had fulfilled two of the three standard biodiesel parameters, was the condition of the comparison of hexane-methanol 1:5 solvents with a reaction time of 20 hours producing 20 mL biodiesel, density 0.8950 g mL-1, kinematic viscosity 12.17 cSt, and acid number 0,41 mg KOH/g sample. The GC-MS result showed the methyl ester from biodiesel product are contains methyl palmitate, methyl palmitoleate, methyl linoleic, and methyl stearat Keywords: Biodiesel, direct transesterification, methyl ester, superworm

Technological advances in UAV (Unmanned Arial Vehicle) photogrammetry have been more efficient and accurate in the field of mapping and monitoring surveys. This study aims to determine the level of potential mangrove forests seen from the density of its vegetation, mangrove species and know how the relationship to marine biota contained in coastal areas bale-bale Batam. The recording data was taken on 26-08-2017. The method used to determine the density is the transformation of the NDVI vegetation index combined with the field transect. the field transect was conducted to see the species and biota of its association contained in each type of mangrove forest vegetation. The results of this study indicate that mangrove in coastal bale-bale has an area of 4.915 Ha, with the potential of mangrove forest area is still in potential condition seen from the extraction vegetation density from the transformation of vegetation index used and with the identification of mangrove species that is Avecennia and Rhizopora, relationship with the type of biota association Ocypodidae, Coenobitadae, and Gobiidae especially for Rhizopora mangrove species, it is because rhizopora is the most dominant type of mangrove in the research location.

Although there are many different kinds of sales, they all can be grouped into two general classifications: promotional and clearance. By recognizing the type of sale, a consumer is better able to anticipate the potential condition of merchandise and the amount of price reduction. This document is Fact Sheet FCS 5019, a series of the Department of Family, Youth and Community Sciences, Florida Cooperative Extension Service, Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences, University of Florida. Abstract Gastrin-17 (G-17), pepsinogen-1 (Pg1) and pepsinogen-2 (Pg2) reflect the functional state of gastric mucosa and are used for non-invasive diagnosis and screening of atrophic gastritis. The aim of the study was to clarify if erosive reflux disease (ERD) or non-ERD (NERD) can be distinguished from other dyspeptic conditions in patients, in a non-invasive manner using specific biomarkers. Levels of G-17, Pg1, and Pg2 were measured in 141 ERD patients (median age 48 years, males — 68), 122 NERD patients (median age 45 years, males — 32) and 410 control patients (median age 50 years, males — 97). Levels of biomarkers in ERD and NERD groups were compared to controls. Median levels of G-17 (1.94 vs 2.92 pmol/L, p = 0.036) and Pg2 (6.70 vs 7.79 µg/l, p = 0.046) were lower in the ERD group compared to control patients; no difference with respect to the control was found for the NERD group. After exclusion of the patients having at least one potential condition that might modify the levels of the biomarkers (gastric mucosa atrophy, Helicobacter pylori colonisation), no difference in levels of biomarkers was observed with respect to the control for both the ERD and NERD groups. G-17, Pg1, and Pg2 based tests cannot be used to distinguish ERD or NERD from other dyspeptic conditions in patients.
