Retail enterprises are embracing new technologies to provide innovative services to customers and engage them. Unmanned retail stores offer a completely new seamless shopping experience for customers. Moreover, artificial intelligence (AI) technology and sophisticated customer behavior should be explored in depth to develop a smart system to serve customers. This study focused on achieving a sustainable user experience with a smart system installed in an autonomous store. The development of core functions and a rule-based knowledge set are regarded as the most important tasks in designing autonomous services. In the case study, the core functions were developed on the basis of the design science concept and the rule-based knowledge set was constructed using the action research approach. The developed smart system was optimized to understand in-store customer behavior by continuously observing and refining the user experience. The practical experience of this study provides insights into AI technology use in retailing and can guide enterprises in developing smart systems.

This paper studies the discursive generalizations in the congado songs of the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais through the Discourse Analysis of French line. From the concept of discursive generalization, developed by Ali-Bouacha (1993, [2007] 2020) and by Moirand (1990), and throught the concepts of language competences, discursive strategies and enunciation, from the Semiolinguistic theory developed by Charaudeau (1983, [2000] 2020a, 2004a, 2004b, 2005a, 2005b, [2006] 2020b, 2008), we understand that discursive generalizations would be effects of meaning based on the assignation of this discourse to a meta-enunciator, building effects of universal truth. This procedure contributes for that a knowledge set forms the identity of a social group deeply identified with the Afro-Brazilian cultural traditions.

Abstract BackgroundThis study aimed to evaluate how undergraduate students and junior paediatric doctors performed against an examination of knowledge set by non-academic consultants at a “must –know “ level for starting in paediatrics. We named this the Minimum Accepeted Competency (MAC) examination.MethodsExamination (comprised of 30 MCQ questions) was delivered to undergraduates also to new junior paediatric doctors. Results of this examination ascertained if participants had reached a clinician determined MAC, were compared with official university examination results and compared students to junior doctor performance.ResultsTotal of 478 participants. Mean MAC score was 45.9% for students and 64.2% for doctors (significantly higher [p < 0.01]). A significantly reduced number of students passed the MAC compared with their official university examinations 68% V 97%). A Spearman’s rank co-efficient showed a moderate but statistically significant positive correlation between students results in their official university examinations and their score in the MAC examination.ConclusionThis work demonstrates a disparity between student and junior doctor levels of knowledge with consultant expectations from an exam based on what front-line paediatricians determined to as “must-know” standards. This study demonstrates the importance of involvement of end-users and future supervisors in undergraduate teaching.

In this article, the author, establishes a knowledge set for Indigenous social work practice based on Indigenous wholistic theory. An overall framework using the circle is proposed and introduced followed by a more detailed and elaborated illustration using the four directions. The article identifies the need to articulate Indigenous wholistic theory and does so by employing a wholistic framework of the four directional circle. It then systematically moves around each direction, beginning in the east where a discussion of Spirit and Vision occurs. In the south a discussion of relationships, community and heart emerge. The western direction brings forth a discussion of the spirit of the ancestors and importance of Indigenous knowledge and Indigenous knowledge production. The northern direction articulates ideas surrounding healing and movements and actions that guide practice. Finally, the article begins with a discussion on all four directions together with a final examination of the center fire where all elements interconnect and intersect. Lastly, the article proclaims the existence of Indigenous wholistic theory as a necessary knowledge set for practice.

The expansion of dishonorable information in normal get entry to social access media retailers like internet based media channels, news web journals, and online papers have made it hard to identify dependable news sources, subsequently growing the need for technique tools able to deliver insights into the reliability of online content substances.. This paper comes up with the applications of Natural language process techniques for detective work the dishonest news, that is, dishonorable news stories that return from the non-reputable sources. Solely by building a model supported mistreatment word tallies or a Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency matrix, will solely get you to date. Is it potential for you to make a model which will differentiate between “Real “news and “Fake” news? Thus our planned work is going to be on grouping a knowledge set of each pretend and real news and uses a Naïve mathematician classifier so as to make a model to classify an editorial into pretend or really supported its words and phrases.

Stock price prediction is always a most challenging task. Artificial Neural Network prediction clears the stock price prediction challenge by forming the training set. By using the past information as the network input, one can predict the expected output of the network. In order to predict the expected result as the accurate we add multi-layer perceptron to the knowledge set we formed from the past historical data available in the nifty NSE and Sensex BSE. This paper proves that proposing the learning knowledge set using multilayer neural network will predict the accurate closing price of future stock in stock market.

Hematologic and oncologic disorders pose unique challenges, particularly in the setting of chronic disease. Many of the pathological states in this chapter are seen in subspecialized practice settings but are required knowledge universally because of the frequency of such patients suddenly deteriorating as disease and age progress. The rise of novel oral anticoagulants and their reversal agents adds to the complexity of this topic. The surgical population in particular requires the application of this knowledge set for safe patient care. As result, coagulopathy is definitively in the wheelhouse of every perioperative physician and can be expected to have daily application in practice.

In the last decade, the emergence of violence has been since visible among the youth in school and even in higher education (HE). The number is various forms such as bullying, cyber bullying and even bullying victimization. It can be seen that forms of instance reported are many violence which refers to the perpetration among the school aged students. This paper aims to examine the problems on violence at any forms to propose a model to solve the knowledge set of compassionate based empathy. The findings reveal that the series of feeling mindful of self and social empathy should be developed to enhance the awareness with the ability to interact and care among HE. Providing the framework for the current issue of impending futile effort in terms of caring for terminal patients, nurturing compassionate based empathy could be one of the sources to assist the knowledge on the instructional design and assessment through best practice to improve the social and self-empathy awareness with compassion in HE.
