We found the logical way to prove the existence of the mechanism that maintains the rates of biodegradation and regeneration of cervical spine cartilage. We demonstrate, that after we restore access to arterial blood flow through cervical vertebral arteries to rhomboid fossa it causes the prevalence of regeneration over biodegradation. This is in the frames of consideration of the human body as a dissipative structure. Then the recovery of the body should be considered as a reduction of the relative rates of decay below the regeneration ones. Then the recovery of cervical spine cartilage through redirecting of inner dissipative flow depends on the information about oxygen availability that is provided from oxygen detectors in the rhomboid fossa to the cerebellum. Our proposed approach explains already collected data, which satisfies all the scientific requirements. This allows us to draw conclusions that permit reconsidering the way of dealing with multiple chronic diseases.

Two of the most prominent phases of bosonic matter are the superfluid with perfect flow and the insulator with no flow. A now decades-old mystery unexpectedly arose when experimental observations indicated that bosons could organize into the formation of an entirely different intervening third phase: the Bose metal with dissipative flow. The most viable theory for such a Bose metal to date invokes the use of the extrinsic property of impurity-based disorder; however, a generic intrinsic quantum Bose metal state is still lacking. We propose a universal homogeneous theory for a Bose metal in which geometric frustration confines the essential quantum coherence to a lower dimension. The result is a gapless insulator characterized by dissipative flow that vanishes in the low-energy limit. This failed insulator exemplifies a frustration-dominated regime that is only enhanced by additional scattering sources at low energy and therefore produces a Bose metal that thrives under realistic experimental conditions.

AbstractThe current investigation aims to examine heat transfer as well as entropy generation analysis of Powell-Eyring nanofluid moving over a linearly expandable non-uniform medium. The nanofluid is investigated in terms of heat transport properties subjected to a convectively heated slippery surface. The effect of a magnetic field, porous medium, radiative flux, nanoparticle shapes, viscous dissipative flow, heat source, and Joule heating are also included in this analysis. The modeled equations regarding flow phenomenon are presented in the form of partial-differential equations (PDEs). Keller-box technique is utilized to detect the numerical solutions of modeled equations transformed into ordinary-differential equations (ODEs) via suitable similarity conversions. Two different nanofluids, Copper-methanol (Cu-MeOH) as well as Graphene oxide-methanol (GO-MeOH) have been taken for our study. Substantial results in terms of sundry variables against heat, frictional force, Nusselt number, and entropy production are elaborate graphically. This work’s noteworthy conclusion is that the thermal conductivity in Powell-Eyring phenomena steadily increases in contrast to classical liquid. The system’s entropy escalates in the case of volume fraction of nanoparticles, material parameters, and thermal radiation. The shape factor is more significant and it has a very clear effect on entropy rate in the case of GO-MeOH nanofluid than Cu-MeOH nanofluid.

Abstract Solar energy is about the study of solar radiations and a method to enhance the efficacy of solar aircrafts with the utilization of solar radiations and nanotechnology. Solar radiations has been considered a heat source. The heat transmission performance of the wings is scrutinized for the situation of various effects like thermal radiations, heat generation, variant thermal conductance, thermal conductivity, and viscidness dissipative flow. Entropy generation analysis has been carried out in the status of Reiner Philippoff nanofluid (RPNF). The performance of the solar aircraft wings (SACW) improves in relations of thermal transmission for the status of amplification in thermal radiation, heat generation, viscidness dissipative flowing, and thermal conductivity parameters.

If we accept that human body is a dissipative structure, then the recovery of the body should be considered as a redirection of the enegy flows. The recovery of vertebral cartilage through redirecting of inner dissipative flow requires the understanding of how is this case the fact of reversibility can be proven. We proposed the approach, that according to the collected data, satisfies all the scientific requirements.

A numerical treatment for the unsteady viscous-Ohmic dissipative flow of hybrid ferrofluid over a contracting cylinder is provided in this study. The hybrid ferrofluid was prepared by mixing a 50% water (H2O) + 50% ethylene glycol (EG) base fluid with a hybrid combination of magnetite (Fe3O4) and cobalt ferrite (CoFe2O4) ferroparticles. Suitable parameters were considered for the conversion of partial differential equations (PDEs) into ordinary differential equations (ODEs). The numerical solutions were established by expanding the unknowns and employing the truncated series of shifted Legendre polynomials. We begin by collocating the transformed ODEs by setting the collocation points. These collocated equations yield a system of algebraic equations containing shifted Legendre coefficients, which can be obtained by solving this system of equations. The effect of the various influencing parameters on the velocity and temperature flow profiles were plotted graphically and discussed in detail. The effects of the parameters on the skin friction coefficient and heat transfer rates were further presented. From the discussion, we come to the understanding that Eckert number considerably decreases both the skin friction coefficient and the heat transfer rate.
