Abstract In AdS/CFT we consider a class of bulk geometric quantities inside the entanglement wedge called reflected minimal surfaces. The areas of these surfaces are dual to the entanglement entropy associated to a canonical purification (the GNS state) that we dub the reflected entropy. From the bulk point of view, we show that half the area of the reflected minimal surface gives a reinterpretation of the notion of the entanglement wedge cross-section. We prove some general properties of the reflected entropy and introduce a novel replica trick in CFTs for studying it. The duality is established using a recently introduced approach to holographic modular flow. We also consider an explicit holographic construction of the canonical purification, introduced by Engelhardt and Wall; the reflected minimal surfaces are simply RT surfaces in this new spacetime. We contrast our results with the entanglement of purification conjecture, and finally comment on the continuum limit where we find a relation to the split property: the reflected entropy computes the von Neumann entropy of a canonical splitting type-I factor introduced by Doplicher and Longo.

The method for determining the organizational system elasticity has been developed. The value of elasticity within the network organizational structure is formulated. The classification of elasticity of organizational networks is given - from inelastic to elastic structure. It is customary to consider elasticity of the organizational network in conjunction with the concept of «reservation», where production capacities of enterprises that are not included into the structure of the organizational network according to directive indicators are taken as a reserve. The method of calculating elasticity by the i-factor and the j-type of the supplier enterprise is presented. The integral elasticity indicator should be considered as a quadratic average for each type of product from each type of supplier enterprise with introduction of weighting coefficients that take into account the shares of the supply volume for each type of enterprise. Verification of methodology for determining elasticity of the organizational network was carried out. The dependence showing the growth of the elasticity coefficient with increase in the difference between the volume of the requested product and volume of delivery from the enterprise is revealed. It is determined that the elasticity coefficient of the organizational network decreases when products from subsidiaries, dependent or contractual enterprises are not included into the reserve.

Quality control in geotechnical engineering is becoming an important issue, especially when products are buried underground. Seismoacoustic methods are widely used for investigations in such structures. In this article seismoacoustic well logs from hidden structures (made by jet grouting technology) are being processed with the goal of obtaining additional information about distribution of heterogeneities in improves grounds. Two methods of estimation Q-factor are used: frequency shift method and amplitude ratios method.

The ESCRT-I factor Tsg101 is essential for sorting endocytic cargo and is exploited by viral pathogens to facilitate egress from cells. Both the nucleocapsid (NC) domain and p6 domain in HIV-1 Gag contribute to recruitment of the protein. However, the role of NC is unclear when the P(S/T)AP motif in p6 is intact, as the motif recruits Tsg101 directly. The zinc fingers in NC bind RNA and membrane and are critical for budding. Tsg101 can substitute for the distal ZnF (ZnF2) and rescue budding of a mutant made defective by deletion of this element. Here, we report that the ubiquitin (Ub) E2 variant (UEV) domain in Tsg101 binds tRNA in vitro. We confirmed that Tsg101 can substitute for ZnF2 when provided at the viral assembly site as a chimeric Gag-Tsg101 protein (Gag-ΔZnF2-Tsg101) and rescue budding. The UEV was not required in this context; however, mutation of the RNA binding determinants in UEV prevented Tsg101 recruitment from the cell interior when Gag and Tsg101 were co-expressed. The same Tsg101 mutations increased recognition of Gag-Ub, suggesting that tRNA and Ub compete for binding sites. This study identifies a novel Tsg101 binding partner that may contribute to its function in recognition of Ub-modified cargo.
