Abstract The multi-channel lidar has the characteristics of fast acquisition speed, large data volume, high dimension, and strong real-time storage, which makes it difficult to be met using the traditional lidar data storage methods. This paper presents a novel approach to store and convert the multi-channel lidar data by traversal method of the tree structure and binary code. In the proposed approach, a tree structure is constructed based on the multi-dimensional characteristics of multi-channel lidar data and the hierarchical relationship between them. The adjacency table storage structure data in the memory is used to generate the sub-tree of the multi-channel lidar data. The results show that the proposed tree structure approach can save the storage capacity and improve the retrieval speed, which can meet the needs of efficient storage and retrieval of multi-channel lidar data.

This article presents a comparison of data storage methods available in the Android SDK. Analyzes the following information storage methods: SQLite, Room, Content Providers, SharedPreferences and DataStore. It examines the relationship between the complexity of the data structure and the cost and efficiency of data storage with the use of given methods. Presents the results of the performance test and conclusions drawn from their analysis.

Artificial insemination of livestock has been a staple technology for producers worldwide for over sixty years. This reproductive technology has allowed for the rapid improvement of livestock genetics, most notably in dairy cattle and pigs. This field has experienced continuous improvements over the last six decades. Though much work has been carried out to improve the efficiency of AI, there are still many areas which continue to experience improvement, including semen analysis procedures, sperm selection techniques, sperm sexing technologies, and semen storage methods. Additionally, the use of AI continues to grow in beef cattle, horses, and small ruminants as the technology continues to become more efficient and yield higher pregnancy rates. In this review, AI trends in the various livestock species as well as cutting edge improvements in the aforementioned areas will be discussed at length. Future work will continue to refine the protocols which are used for AI and continue to increase pregnancy rates within all livestock species.

This study aims at finding an acceptable storage method for three varieties of Maize grown in the Ashanti Mampong Municipality of Ghana. Survey and standard laboratory protocols were carried out to gather the necessary data for the study. The background study revealed that 18%, 13%, 24%, 15%, 12%, 8% and 10% of farmers store their maize by heaping on the floor, storing in cribs, conventional jute sack, plastic drum, clay pot, triple-layer hermetic bag and polypropylene respectively. The findings also indicated that moisture loss was reduced in the plastic drum and triple-layer hermetic bag after the four months of storage. The proximate composition of the stored produce showed that maize preserved better in the triple layer hermetic bag. It is recommended that the triple-layer hermetic bag should be extensively used in storing maize as it has the ability to reduce moisture loss, and also preserving the nutritional and market value of the produce stored in it.

Background: Drug is the most common form of therapy and an integral part of almost all levels of care. The conditions and proper way of storing medicines at home are important aspects of safe and effective drug treatment. Information about the knowledge of patients with appropriate storage conditions, rational drug use, appropriate drug use and management of various drugs is essential in helping pharmacists identify which medicinal products and aspects of home storage require more attention when counselling patients. Objective: The aim of this systematic review is to identify and characterize the mode of storage associated with home-stored pharmaceuticals. Methods: This systematic review analyzes the storage methods for medicines to identify and characterize the storage methods associated with medicines stored at home. The limitation of publication used, namely English and Indonesian in the last 10 years, and obtained through literature that can be considered relevant. Results: This systematic review was conducted in the period July, August, September 2020 - February 2021. As many as 20 journals were obtained. Those who met the inclusion criteria were 10 journals. Of the 10 journals that had met the inclusion criteria, 3 journals were excluded so that only 7 journals were used in the literature review / systematic review. The storage of medicines in the household is based on the presence of family members who have certain diseases so that they have to consume drugs in the long term, the presence of health workers, and the education level of family members. Problems that can arise with drug storage conditions are impaired drug stability and can accelerate drug degradation prematurely. Storage of medicines in the medicine cabinet and out of reach of children is highly recommended. Placement of drugs in one place without being separated and a lack of awareness in administering specific markings can increase drug administration errors and lead to non-compliance with over-the-counter drug use. The application of drug management in the family can improve the quality of life and avoid the adverse effects of drug misuse. Conclusion: This study raises relation to medicines stored inside homes that warrant addressing that need pharmacists regarding public education in relation to drug therapy that goes beyond the dispensing process. They were judging by the finding that pharmacists were not considered primary sources of drug-related information. Good practices should be encouraged through continued health education at health institutions and retail medicine outlets.  Keywords: Drugs, Storage, Household

Abstract A research experiment was conducted after sugar beet harvesting season of 2018/2019 to study the losses in sugar beet roots quality after harvesting and reducing it by using different storage methods (storage roots in shadow and open air), covering (without, covering with rice straw, sugar beet foliages and net) and spraying treatments (without, spraying with tap water and Mepiquat chloride at the rates of 0.5, 1.0 and 1.5 cm/L) during storage periods (one, two, three and four weeks from beginning the study) under environmental conditions of Dakahlia Governorate, Egypt. The experiment was carried out in factorial experiment in randomized complete blocks design with three replicates. Stored sugar beet roots in piles under shading net conditions indexed the highest sucrose and quality percentages and lowest K, Na and alfa amino nitrogen percentages in roots. The highest sucrose and quality percentages and lowest K, Na and alfa amino nitrogen percentages in roots were obtained by covering sugar beet piles with sugar beet foliages. The highest sucrose and quality percentages and lowest K, Na and alfa amino nitrogen percentages in roots were resulted when spraying piles before storage with Mepiquat chloride at 1.0 cm/L. It can be concluded that stored sugar beet roots after harvesting directly in piles under shading and covering with beet foliages and spraying piles with Mepiquat chloride at 1.0 cm/L to reduce losses in sugar beet roots quality after harvesting and during storage and achieve high quality characters of roots under the environmental conditions of Dakahlia Governorate, Egypt.

Background: trans-anethole is the main component of anise, and its flavor is characteristic of all the aniseed spirits. It is known that trans-anethole oil/ethanol/water solution could result in the undesirable emulsion effect called the “ouzo effect”. Moreover, trans-anethole can undergo chemical decay, producing unhealthy compounds, mainly cis-anethole and para-anisaldehyde. In this work, the trans-anethole stability was challenged simulating commercial products' long-term storage. Methods: Anethole standard solutions and two Italian aniseed spirits, namely Sambuca and Mistrà, were used to evaluate the trans-anethole response to light (both ultraviolet and visible) and its stability under thermal stress. Anethole decay was monitored by trans-anethole quantification using an HPLC method. Results: Light and high-temperature exposure affect the trans-anethole content of aniseed spirits during the storage, but sucrose revealed a role in the trans-anethole protection. Conclusions: as transport and storage are involved in the anethole decay, the Regulations on the minimum of the anethole that must be a guarantee in the aniseed spirits should be revised.
