The article attempts to draw attention to the fact that the future of Western Europe depends on a certain extent on the timely resolution of immigration problems related to Muslims. The aim of this article is to make a contribution to research of the issue concerning the future of Western Europe immigration process, which depends on a certain extent on the timely resolution of immigration problems related to Muslims. The point is that immigration flows, especially from the Muslim world, from a sporadic phenomenon have become a constant factor and raised questions about the development and implementation of measures to adapt Muslim immigrants to new working, living and cultural conditions in their new countries, search decisions aimed at reducing the pressure of the demographic factor on the economic development of host countries, cooperation in respect of human rights.

Specific ethnocentric international migration processes can be observed in Hungary: a significant proportion of immigrants are of Hungarian ethnic background and come from neighboring countries. Similar processes can be observed between other kin-states and co-ethnic communities of Central and Eastern Europe, but this type of migration has not been studied intensively yet. The focus of the research is on the effects of this immigration on Hungarian society and the economy. Population projections were also carried out according to two research questions: “what would have happened if the immigrants had not arrived according to the processes that were experienced?” and “what will happen if the immigration process changes?” The research is based on the 2011 census data sets; the target group is the population born in neighboring countries that moved to Hungary after 1985. Results show that the ethnic Hungarian immigrant population has been a crucial human resource in Hungary. Without these immigrants, Hungary's demographic trends would also be less favorable. Moreover, in contrast to the situation typical of European immigrants, the socio-economic situation of the former is more favorable than of the host society. Potential decline of this immigration population could indeed be challenging.

A great deal of countries is currently absorbing waves of immigrants. It is true that in the past two years, 2018 – 2020, the immigration among countries has begun to decrease. However, if we take a look at the last decade, this is a worldwide movement, possessed by movement of populations. The absorbing countries were partially coordinated as per their absorption policy (mainly the European Union countries). In contrast, most of the other countries, inclusive of North America and Australia, are already ,,experienced”, and thus, already have clear policies at their disposal. This article will try to present the immigration process and absorption in Israel, and to point on problem steps.

Abstract Background Syphilis is a sexually transmitted disease and infects tens of millions of people every year. In China, syphilis has its characteristics in spreading patterns: this disease always spreads with the migration of the floating population. But rarely quantitative modeling studies have been conducted in this field.Method Based on the Bayesian back-calculation method and datasets collected in Zhejiang Province, China, a novel model to analyze the syphilis transmission and immigration process is constructed. Results The results show that immigrant patients are the main source of syphilis in the Zhejiang province. By using the PRCC method to analyze the relationship between parameters and infected cases, we find two main effective measures to control syphilis: the patients paying attention to their behaviors and using sexual protection measures. Conclusion With the increase of intensive personnel exchange among different countries and regions, it is becoming more important to study the transmission of diseases within the floating populations. The method we use in this manuscript provides a quantitative research method by using the diagnosed cases. All the methods and models in this manuscript could be used in the studies of other diseases where immigrant patients should be considered.

Many immigrants face obstacles as they navigate through the lengthy and stressful immigration process and its procedures. This project is based on an investigation of an outline discussion forum through which successful immigrants and prospective immigrants exchange information regarding their immigration proceedings. The target groups that were chosen for my inquiry are prospective immigrants from Romania and the Republic of Moldova. Drawing on both quantitative and qualitative data this paper generates valuable knowledge about the first-hand experiences of individuals applying to come to Canada through Quebec's Skilled Workers immigration program. The findings show that although there is plenty of official information offered to prospective immigrants, they still encounter difficulties as they navigate through the immigration process.

Despite recent government policies aimed at attracting international students as immigrants, little research has involved this population directly. This study explores the experiences of international students in their transition to permanent resident. Data gathered from fifteen semi-structured interviews with current and former international students seek to answer: Why do international students decide to remain in Canada after graduating? What challenges do they face during this transition? What strengths do they possess and what strategies do they use to help them become permanent residents? The findings suggest differing levels of need for support services during their transition and the strong impact of individual decisions on integration success. Participants and the author make recommendations for improving the immigration process.

Canada's family class immigration policy has been studied as a gendered policy that has differential and harmful effects on women sponsored by their male spouses for immigration to Canada (Côté et al., 2001; National Association for Women and the Law, 1999; Thobani, 2000). As women are commonly seen as migrating for marriage and men for work (Sweetman, 1998), there has been little research done on the experiences of women who sponsor male spouses for immigration to Canada. This study explores the experiences of sponsoring women, mainly how their economic and family situations are affected by immigration policy and process. Using multiple forms of data, particularly judicial cases and interviews with sponsoring women, the study extracts themes related to immigration policy, immigration process, neo-liberalism, and the Sponsorship Agreement. It concludes that immigration policy and process create barriers to the family reunification of sponsoring women and their partners, increase the economic marginalization of women, and re-victimize women who have been abused by sponsored partners by holding them responsible for the Sponsorship Agreement.
