The aim of this study was to evaluate different shape descriptors applied to images of polygons that represent the organization of football teams on the pitch. The effectiveness of different shape descriptors (area/perimeter, fractal area, circularity, maximum fractal, rectangularity, multiscale fractal curve—MFC), and the concatenation of all shape descriptors (except MFC), denominated Alldescriptors (AllD)) was evaluated and applied to polygons corresponding to the shapes represented by the convex hull obtained from players’ 2D coordinates. A content-based image retrieval system (CBIR) was applied for 25 users (mean age of 31.9 ± 8.4 years) to evaluate the relevant images. Measures of effectiveness were used to evaluate the shape descriptors (P@n and R@n). The MFD (P@5, 0.46±0.37 and P@10, 0.40±0.31, p < 0.001; R@5, 0.14±0.13 and R@10, 0.24±0.19, p < 0.001) and AllD (P@5 = 0.43±0.36 and P@10 = 0.39±0.32, p < 0.001; R@5 = 0.13±0.11 and R@10 = 0.24±0.20, p < 0.001) descriptors presented higher values of effectiveness. As a practical demonstration, the best evaluated shape descriptor (MFC) was applied for tactical analysis of an official match. K-means clustering technique was applied, and different shapes of organization could be identified throughout the match. The MFC was the most effective shape descriptor in relation to all others, making it possible to apply this descriptor in the analysis of professional football matches.

Leadership in motion - close/leadership in practice. The article discusses events from the project ”Leadership in motion”, where the researchers co-walked ten directors in early childhood centers in a big municipality after reorganization of leader teams. The events are impulses used to explore close leadership. Inspired by such post-human perspectives and concepts as diffractions, entanglements and the not-yet-seen, we undertake diffractive readings of events. Through confabulations between researchers and directors, various understandings of close leadership implications are produced and explored. We discuss how close leadership is expressed in the practice of early childhood centers, where everything is entangled and at the same time in motion. When encountering new leader team organization, for example the not-yet-seen, the leaders point to listening, doubt, resistance, and insecurity as part of close/leadership. They are alert to the situations, present in thought, time, and space, with openness and interest for what is coming.

This study aims to determine the management of learning Taḥfiẓ Alquran which includes planning and organizing learning, implementing the learning and evaluating learning. This research is qualitative with a case study model. The collection method uses observation, interviews and also does documentation. The results showed that: (1) Management of learning Taḥfiẓ Alquran in increasing interest in memorizing the Koran at the Taḥfiẓ Al-Fawwaz Foundation includes: (a) learning planning consisting of memorization targets, learning objectives, learning programs, time allocation to learning tools, (b) learning that has a teaching team organization division and students are also grouped, (c) the implementation of learning which consists of learning activities and learning motivation, (d) learning evaluation.

Abstract Objective Our objective was to assess how, and to what extent, a systems-level perspective is considered in decision-making processes for health interventions by illustrating how studies define the boundaries of the system in their analyses and by defining the decision-making context in which a systems-level perspective is undertaken. Method We conducted a scoping review following the Joanna Briggs Institute methodology. MEDLINE, EMBASE, Cochrane Library, and EconLit were searched and key search concepts included decision making, system, and integration. Studies were classified according to an interpretation of the “system” of analysis used in each study based on a four-level model of the health system (patient, care team, organization, and/or policy environment) and using categories (based on intervention type and system impacts considered) to describe the decision-making context. Results A total of 2,664 articles were identified and 29 were included for analysis. Most studies (16/29; 55%) considered multiple levels of the health system (i.e., patient, care team, organization, environment) in their analysis and assessed multiple classes of interventions versus a single class of intervention (e.g., pharmaceuticals, screening programs). Approximately half (15/29; 52%) of the studies assessed the influence of policy options on the system as a whole, and the other half assessed the impact of interventions on other phases of the disease pathway or life trajectory (14/29; 48%). Conclusions We found that systems thinking is not common in areas where health technology assessments (HTAs) are typically conducted. Against this background, our study demonstrates the need for future conceptualizations and interpretations of systems thinking in HTA.

ABSTRACT Objectives: to know the nurses’ perception on violence against children by their companion in pediatric ward; describe the nurses’ actions in this situation; analyze these actions in light of government policies; and know the organization and communication of the multidisciplinary team to face this phenomenon. Method: a descriptive qualitative research conducted through semi-structured interviews with nurses. Thematic analysis identified three categories: “A perception of violence”; “Actions and interventions performed by nurses”; and “Multidisciplinary team organization and communication”. Results: nurses recognize the types of violence, but attaches greater severity to physical violence. The reported causes were children with difficult temperaments, transgenerational violence and hospitalization. The actions were dialogue, companion-child separation, registry and notification to the Guardianship Council. Poor communication from the multidisciplinary team and medical-centric organization have been reported.

Using theoretical research, this article presents the structure of student’s collaborative problem solving competence. Based on the results published by Patrick's team in 2014, 2015 and OECD 2015, the author proposes 4 levels corresponding to each specific criterias of three component competencies: (1) establishing and maintaining shared understanding, (2) taking appropriate action to solve the problem, (3) establishing and maintaining a team organization. Based on this theory, the paper also proposes a matrix of assessment toolkits and corresponding criterias of collaborative problem solving competence teaching chemistry of the non mental using interdisciplinary integrated teaching perspective and Kolb's Experiential Learning Cycle. Each assessment tool specifically analyzes the functions and techniques implemented in students' collaborative problem solving processes
