The establishment of fuzzy judgement matrix plays an important role in the accuracy of seismic damage assessment using Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP). The optimization analysis is mainly focus on the fuzzy judgement matrix because the important value of each two influencing factors is given by the seismic damage experience and seismic design theory subjectively. In this paper, the initial fuzzy judgement matrix has been set up and the assessment results are given by them. Optimization analysis of single factor is carried out in the adjustment of fuzzy judgement matrix to obtain the best assessment results under the assumption of keeping the fuzzy evaluation matrix of index layer unchangeable. The result shows that accuracy of assessment calculated by the optimal fuzzy judgement matrix has been improved by 1.48%.

Supplier selection is a significant issue of multicriteria decision-making (MCDM), which has been heavily studied with classical fuzzy methodologies, but the reliability of the knowledge from domain experts is not efficiently taken into consideration.Z-number introduced by Zadeh has more power to describe the knowledge of human being with uncertain information considering both restraint and reliability. In this paper, a methodology for supplier selection usingZ-numbers is proposed considering information transformation. It includes two parts: one solves the issue of how to convertZ-number to the classic fuzzy number according to the fuzzy expectation; the other solves the problem of how to get the optimal priority weight for supplier selection with genetic algorithm (GA), which is an efficient and flexible method for calculating the priority weight of the judgement matrix. Finally, an example for supplier selection is used to illustrate the effectiveness the proposed methodology.

The group decision-making is a new way recent years in the world which is based on the analysis of linguistic information.A method for this kind of group problems based on two-tuple linguistic theory is proposed in this paper.First, the method transforms initial linguistic information into group judgement matrix, and then give the select process of optimal alternative based on an operator. Finally,a numerical example is given to illustrate the validity of the proposed method.

DEM matching algorithm without control points is the base for detecting deformation method, the deformation existing in DEMs is treated as gross error. The detectability and locatability of multiple gross errors is very critical according to the surveying error and reliability theory. The interactive observations number (ION) derived from gross error judgement matrix is adapted in this paper. The relationship between zero-column vectors in judge matrix and the rank of the coefficient matrix of DEM matching is discussed in theory, and prove none zero-column vectors exist with real date sets. ION Equal to the number of redundant observations. Experimental results show that DEM matching algorithm has the detectability and locatability of multiple gross errors, and the deformation can be correctly detected by robust estimators in prearranged confidence level.

In this paper, the definition of additive consistent intuitionistic fuzzy complementary judgement matrix (ACIFCJM) was given; The addition and subtraction algorithms of intuitionistic fuzzy value representing the relative importance degree in the matrix were given, then the definition of the scale transition matrix of intuitionistic fuzzy complementary judgement matrix (IFCJM) was given; The additive consistency recursive iterative adjustment algorithm about the IFCJM was given, then priority vectors formula of IFCJM was introduced; At last, the steps of intuitionistic fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (IFAHP) were introduced, then the method was applied in actual examples, and its effectiveness was verified.

In order to evaluate the identification precision and the computational efficiency of identification indices on damage detection and provide a reasonable basis to choose identification indices for deeply developing structural damage identification, a fuzzy analytical hierarchy process is used to comprehensive analyse and assess nine kinds of identification indices. By establishing the mathematical relationship between the precedence relation matrix and the fuzzy judgement matrix, the consistency of the judgement matrix in analytical hierarchy process is effectively improved. Using above methods and based on three evaluation standards that include mean error, network scale and measuring difficulty , a fuzzy hierarchy to assess identification indices is set up. On the basis of the fuzzy judgement matrix, the performance of nine kinds of identification indices is ranked. Empirical results show that deflection, first modal shape and fundamental frequency are more suitable for identification indices than other indices. And a fuzzy judgement matrix can be established only using the relative relationship between identification indices in the fuzzy analytical hierarchy process. Thus, the fuzzy analytical hierarchy process can be convenient extended to evaluate other identification indices and effectively improve the identification precision and the computational efficiency on damage detection.
