Virtual and Augmented reality has established itself in many sectors including education. The virtual is progressively entering the classrooms. MOOCs (Massive Open Online Course), those online interactive lessons available for all, are useful tools to complete the traditional school system. There are also more and more e-learning platforms that propose online lessons and follow-up for any student. Immersive contents appear as playful alternatives to traditional lectures. But, the integration of VR/AR equipment in classrooms raises questions. What is the place of augmented and virtual reality in education and teaching? In order to be able to answer this important question, our article takes place as the result of a literature review on the field of virtual and augmented reality in education. Our objective, first of all, to deepen our knowledge domain in order to provide the necessary answers to « the question », and, secondly, to identify principles that can guide the design of educational artefacts in virtual and augmented reality. The methodology of the literature review is based on the EPPI method (Evidence for Policy and Practice Information and Co-ordinating). Results will be presented by themes such as motivation, immersion, collaboration, and design.

INTRODUCTION Heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) is a condition where the left ventricular function is ≥50%. This population has a high morbidity and mortality compared to its counter-part heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF). However treatment in this group remain spares. Hypertension medications are widely used in practice for patients with heart failure with reduced ejection fraction, however its efficacy in HFpEF is still an ongoing research. METHOD Evidence based research from various different search engines such as Medline® , Cochrane ® , and Proquest® with inclusion of high quality evidence such as meta-analysis, systematic review, RCT, and cohort studies. The selected papers were screened for validity, importance and applicability to the case in question. RESULT The two different RCTs studies showed that ACE-I had no effects in HFpEF. Research by Kitzman et al. showed that ACE-I did not show any improvement of left ventricular mass, neuro-hormonal profile, and 6 minutes walking test. This was also confirmed by Zi et al., which in addition showed that ACE-I did not increase the quality of life in the geriatric subjects. CONCLUSION All in all, ACE-I as a type of anti-hypertensive medication does not benefit geriatric population of HFpEF

The aim of the article is to present the assumptions of the concept of the career adaptability of Mark Savickas and to present the psychometric properties of the Polish version of the Career Adapt-Ability Scale. It consists of five dimensions: concern, control, curiosity, confidence and cooperation. The analyzes were carried out with the participation of young adults (N = 664; 63% women, 37% men) aged 18 to 34 years (M = 24.4, SD = 2.9). The reliability of the tool was assessed on the basis of internal consistency method. Evidence of construct validity was obtained through confirmatory analysis and correlation with other, conceptually related variables such as social participation and tolerance of ambiguity in a career decision situation, measured using four indicators – preference, tolerance, confidence, and aversion. The results obtained indicate very good psychometric properties of the questionnaire. A high level of career adaptability is characteristic for two types of social participation – integration and assimilation. The higher intensity within all five components of Career Adapt-Ability Scale is also accompanied by a stronger acceptance of unknown, complex, inconsistent and unpredictable information when professional decisions are made.

Objective – The purpose of this study is to evaluate and compare the overall company performance using the concept of Balance Scorecard at conventional insurance firm and its Syariah counterpart. This study took the case of an insurance company which have its conventional as well as Syariah branch namely PT AB Medan Branch and PT AB Syariah Aceh Branch. Design/methodology – Sample in this study were employees and partners both from PT AB Medan Branch and PT AB Syariah Aceh Branch. Secondary data were derived from financial statements for 2 years period of 2018-2019. Results – The results of the study showed that (1) when viewed from a financial perspective, PT AB Medan Branch is better than PT AB Aceh Branch; (2) when viewed from a non-financial perspective (customer satisfaction and learning growth), both PT AB Medan Branch and PT AB Syariah Aceh Branch show very good signs of satisfaction, namely the average value above 4; and (3) when viewed from a non-financial perspective (internal business processes) PT AB Medan Branch is better than PT AB Aceh Branch. This implies the different strength portrayed by conventional and shariah insurance firms indicating the areas that they can focus for improvement.

Abstract Leadership is a critical component of a health system and may be particularly important in Sub-Saharan Africa, where clinicians take on significant management responsibilities. However, there has been little investment in strengthening leadership in this context, and evidence is limited on what leadership capabilities are most important or how effective different leadership development models are. This scoping review design used Arksey and O’Malley’s approach of identifying the question and relevant studies, selection, charting of data, summarizing of results and consultation. A comprehensive search strategy was used that included published and unpublished primary studies and reviews. Seven databases were searched, and papers written in English and French between 1979 and 2019 were included. Potential sources were screened against inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data were grouped into common categories and summarized in tables; categories included conceptual approach to leadership; design of intervention; evaluation method; evidence of effectiveness; and implementation lessons. The findings were then analysed in the context of the review question and objectives. Twenty-eight studies were included in the review out of a total of 495 that were initially identified. The studies covered 23 of the 46 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa. The leadership development programmes (LDPs) described were diverse in their design. No consistency was found in the conceptual approaches they adopted. The evaluation methods were also heterogeneous and often of poor quality. The review showed how rapidly leadership has emerged as a topic of interest in health care in Sub-Saharan Africa. Further research on this subject is needed, in particular in strengthening the conceptual and competency frameworks for leadership in this context, which would also inform better evaluation. Our findings support the need for LDPs to be accredited, better integrated into existing systems and to put greater emphasis on institutionalization and financial sustainability from their early development.
