Infliximab (IFX) is a chimeric monoclonal antibody biologic drug that works against tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α) and is used to treat autoimmune diseases. This is case of a 45year old female patient who had suicidal thoughts after receiving infusions with IFX. She did not report any family psychiatric history. She was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. She had many relapses and she was treated with azathioprine and prednisolone. After many incidents of diarrhea, she started therapy with infliximab infusions. She had totally 13 infusions during a period of 13 months. The last year and in particular during the time of Infliximab intake, she reported suicidal ideation. Due to lack of improvement in her physical symptoms, she voluntarily discontinued medication and resorted to a nutritionist and a mental health counselor, where she followed cognitive and behavioral interventions. Treatment of autoimmune disorders with infliximab raise an awareness among medical and paramedical staff involved in the care of these patients about the psychiatric side effects of the drug.

Abstract Background The Health Counselor of Sicily in Italy, appointed the “Forum Meridiano Sanità” 2020 dedicated to Health Tourism (HT). Sicily is a member of the Italian network “Mattone internazionale salute” that focus the development of Health Tourism aiming at: Establish the state of art on HT;Defining a strategy to give visibility of the services targeting health tourists;Defining joint actions/projects to strengthen Italy's attractiveness and the action plan to promote/valorize health performances and the touristic services offered. Sicily, making use of its cultural/environmental characteristics, landscapes, climate, food traditions and its Mediterranean diet, wants to be accounted for a destination on health/wellness tourism. Target groups are seniors, disabled people and people affected by particular pathologies Contribution of Sicilian Region (Sicilian Health Government and CEFPAS) and of the European program 2021-2027 are promoting in Sicily the implementation of such in the development of the “Health and Wellness Tourism”. In order for this to be integrated in a broader framework a discussion on the first European Charter on Health Tourism will be developed with participants. Results The “working table” has elaborated a document “Framework on health and tourism - the interregional point of view” containing the definitions of Health tourism, a state of art of the national/European legislative framework and a mapping of the touristic flow and the needs of seniors. The Regional Health Government is also starting articulations with other Regional Governments (e.g. Tourism/Environment). Strategic alliances/resources able to transform the tourism sector, should focus a strategic policy agenda for health prevention/promotion linked to a wider concept of general wellness. Key message Promote health/wellness tourism targeting seniors and people with disabilities/pathologic diseases is considered worth the investment.

Over the past few years, the topic of marijuana is featured in the media. Students have an ambiguous information on the medical benefits and the torment of marijuana use. Students under minimum supervision from their guardians are among high risk groups of its abuse. The abuse of marijuana among students is associated with the cognitive impairment, adverse academic performance and the low-level satisfaction of life. Aims: To find out the prevalence of marijuana abuse among college students staying away from their parents. Place and Duration of Study:  Sample: 10 colleges from 5 wards of BBMP between February 2014 to February 2015. Methods: This was a descriptive cross-sectional survey (n=250). Qualitative (interview) and quantitative (structured questionnaire) were used to collect the data about the current use of marijuana, smoking habit, perceived effect and source of supply among Nepalese students studying in Bangalore. The Current user is defined according to the CDC guideline (An adult who has smoked 100 times in his lifetime and who currently smokes marijuana. Findings: The current prevalence of marijuana abuse among male Nepalese students in Bangalore is 36%. At least one-time usage of marijuana is 51%. Among current users, 38% are using marijuana daily. Similarly, 37% of the participants reported that local friends are the source of supply for them and 32% reported that they get marijuana from college friends. Among current users, about 58% of the users said that they don’t want to quit using marijuana. Conclusion: It is evident from the study that marijuana use is widespread amongst Nepalese students in Bangalore. The parents whose children are away from home town should maintain a very close relationship with them, their academic supervisors, and their friends. A significant number of current users (41%) wish to quit the addiction of marijuana use, this demand an immediate need for the mental health counselor in the colleges in Bangalore.

BackgroundDespite the increasing reliance in counselor education on online teaching and learning, the efficacy is not well documented.ObjectiveTo investigate learning outcomes for master's-level rehabilitation and mental health counseling students.MethodsThis study compared on-campus and online learning course delivery methods with pre-and post-tests using 41 participants across four courses.FindingsSignificant differences were found within both groups between the pre- and post-test, indicating significant gains in knowledge acquisition. No significant differences were found between group modalities in the magnitude of improvement in test scores.ConclusionsFindings suggest that no differences exist in these learning outcomes when online and on-campus teaching modalities are compared and that both modalities produce positive learning outcomes. Continued research is needed to address additional questions in this area.

ABSTRACT Objective: Understand the time of awakening to social control and its contributions from the perspective of health counselor nurses. Method: Semi-structured interviews were conducted with eight nurses who work/worked as health counselors. The information was analyzed using the thematic analysis of Minayo. Results: The interest in participating in the council emerged from the professionalization in the Family Health Strategy, whether in the continuation of the Municipal Council of Health, in the training, or in the participation in the student movement. The contributions included the development of a critical and reflective spirit, better understanding of health system management, increased sensitivity to the needs of the user, and close relationship with the community. Final considerations: Despite some deficiencies and misconceptions of nurses, it is believed that nursing is on the right track in the defense and construction of a societarian project.
