Muara Angke Wildlife Reserve (MAWR) is the smallest natural reserve area in Indonesia with a wetland ecosystem type, dominated by open swamp and mangroves, and greatly influenced by freshwater from the Angke River. Although small, this region plays an important role in protecting biodiversity, especially for mangrove ecosystems in Jakarta. However, this area has suffered severe degradation because of river pollution and decreasing salinity so that rehabilitation efforts carried out to maintain the presence of mangrove ecosystems. We asses the hydro oceanographic aspects, i.e. tidal conditions, sedimentation and bathymetry by conducting field survey and modeling. Based on the results, there is 0.35 m increase in the water level compare to previous period. The value of Formzhal 2.47 is obtained which indicates the mixed tide prevailing diurnal type, mainly because of the influence of the river, although sometimes their mixed tides with very different heights and periods. The tidal mounts in Muara Angke based on the Admiralty method are 0.94 meters. Then, from the results of the sediment test, it was found the type of mud sediment with a value of TSS between 23 mg/l - 74 mg/l. The result of this study is that the sustainability of the mangrove ecosystem in Muara Angke Wildlife Reserve depends on these three aspects. There needs to be mitigation efforts to reduce sedimentation and overcome freshwater immersion from rivers so that mangrove rehabilitation in this region can be successful.

Lipstick (Lipstick) is a cosmetic sedan that is used to color the lips with an artistic touch so as to enhance aesthetics in facial makeup. One of the plants that can be used as natural dyes is kelumba keling (Bixa orellana L). Kesumba rivet contains bixsin and nonbixin compounds, which can be used as natural dyes that have the potential as antioxidants. The aim of this study is to utilize kelumba keling as a natural coloring agent in lipstick sedans.Making Keeling keumba seed extract by maceration using 70% ethanol as a solvent. The formulation was made by means of a lipstick base added with variations in the concentration of kesumba keling seed extract 18%, 20%, 22%. Tests carried out on a lipstick sedan made include organoleptic test, irritation test, PH test, melting point test, lipstick sediment test , during storage for 30 days. The results of the test of the lipstick extract of the kesumba rivet seed in the stable orange color organoleptic test can be seen in the irritation test of the non-irritating lipstick sedan, at the melting point test at 51oC for 15 minutes formulation F0, F1, F2, F3 the lipstick made can melt, at Sedian rub test was carried out 5 times basting. In this study it can be concluded that the kesumba keling seed extract can be used as a natural coloring agent in lipstick sedans. Kata Kunci    : Biji Kesumba Keling, Lipstik, Evaluasi lipstik

Clinical urine test with the correct interpretation can help the clinician in the diagnosis of the urinary system diseases, as well as other organs and systems. Most laboratories in medical institutions are currently switching to an automated urinary sediment test, but microscopy appears relevant. Unfortunately, clinicians often interpret only three or four (most often proteinuria, leukocyturia and erythrocyturia) of all the numerous indicators of urine test, unfairly ignoring the others. The urinary cylinders are one of these important elements of the urinary sediment. The article presents the characteristics of the main types of urinary cylinders, their origin, composition, morphology and clinical significance.

DEVELOPMENT of Nitzschia sp. AS SEDIMENT TEST ORGANISM. Sediment bioassay requires a test organism which suitable with the test material, for example sediment. However, benthic phytoplankton as the test organism has not been widely applied in Indonesia. Recently, bioassay test still uses phytoplankton which lives in water column such as Chaetoceros gracilis, Tetraselmis sp., Isochrysis sp., or uses another test organism like mussel, sea urchin larvae and amphipod. In addition, Nitszchia sp. is one of culture collection at Research Centre for Oceanography so it could be added value of culture collection. Therefore, this paper aims to describe the potential use of phytoplankton benthic, Nitzschia sp. as sediment test organism.
