Youtube is one of the most famous video-sharing and social networking platforms in the world. Due to its comment section function, Youtube also plays a role in describing the perception and reaction of the general public. This study aims to examine the discourse prosody found in the adjective suki and its co-occurrences. This is a mixed-method research where corpus linguistics is used for quantitative data analysis and, discourse prosody for the qualitative method. The Youtube comments chosen are five videos from Japan’s number one Youtuber, Hajimeshachoo in January 2020. Only the first 24 hours comments were picked. The findings show that the adjective suki is the most significant na-adjective used in the Youtube comments gathered. Na-adjective mainly co-occurred with an adverb that modified the adjective suki mostly to elevate the sense of likeness, adoration, or fondness of the content and/or creator of the video. The adjective suki can have both positive and negative discourse prosody depending on its co-occurrence.

ABSTRACT Today most energy companies have very sophisticated Emergency Response plans and training, covering a multitude of incident scenarios, including but not limited to oil spills, plant explosions, and yes, even pandemics. However, regardless of incident type that preparation rarely extends to the Finance Section itself let alone up the Risk & Insurance ladder. Those missing pieces could mean that these same companies are also missing opportunities to spend less and save $$. This paper explores best practices concepts of mitigating overall incident response risks specifically with respect to ICS – Finance Section responsibilities. The information and data for Part 1 of this report has been collected through interviews, internet research, and many years of hands-on experience. Originally designed to be included in a single report a specifically designed industry survey, the completion of which was thwarted by the COVID pandemic, will be published at a later date as Part 2. Significant findings include the facts that oil spills seem to be increasingly and overwhelmingly expensive and that relatively few organizations seem to understand or analyze the potential for more favorable results that could be gained by a properly trained and functioning Finance Section. Based on these findings, the authors conclude that there are a number of low-cost measures that could be incorporated into response planning efforts to enable responsible party to realize cost savings.

The variable section structure could be the physical model of many vibration problems, and its analysis becomes more complicated either. It is very important to know how to obtain the exact solution of the modal function and the natural frequency effectively. In this paper, a general analytical method, based on segmentation view and iteration calculation, is proposed to obtain the modal function and natural frequency of the beam with an arbitrary variable section. In the calculation, the section function of the beam is considered as an arbitrary function directly, and then the result is obtained by the proposed method that could have high precision. In addition, the total amount of calculation caused by high-order Taylor expansion is reduced greatly by comparing with the original Adomian decomposition method (ADM). Several examples of the typical beam with different variable sections are calculated to show the excellent calculation accuracy and convergence of the proposed method. The correctness and effectiveness of the proposed method are verified also by comparing the results of the several kinds of the theoretical method, finite element simulation, and experimental method.

Abstract A bounded domain $K$ is called polynomially integrable if its parallel section function $V_{n-1}(K\cap \{\xi ^\perp +t\xi \})$ is a polynomial of $t$ (on its support) for every $\xi $. A complete characterization of such domains was given recently. Here we obtain a generalization of these results in the setting of dual quermassintegrals. We also address the associated smoothness issues.

AbstractA robust Kalman filter improved with IGG (Institute of Geodesy and Geophysics) scheme is proposed and used to resist the harmful effect of gross error from GPS observation in PPP/INS (precise point positioning/inertial navigation system) tightly coupled positioning. A new robust filter factor is constructed as a three-section function to increase the computational efficiency based on the IGG principle. The results of simulation analysis show that the robust Kalman filter with IGG scheme is able to reduce the filter iteration number and increase efficiency. The effectiveness of new robust filter is demonstrated by a real experiment. The results support our conclusion that the improved robust Kalman filter with IGG scheme used in PPP/INS tightly coupled positioning is able to remove the ill effect of gross error in GPS pseudorange observation. It clearly illustrates that the improved robust Kalman filter is very effective, and all simulated gross errors added to GPS pseudorange observation are successfully detected and modified.

The early-age concrete properties are the basis for structure nonlinear analyzed under construction structure period. But at present the study on early-age concrete is lagging behind which there is not suitabel theory. This paper takes early-age C20 concrete as an example to analysis the early-age concrete properties. According to the distribution characteristics of early-age C20 concrete experiment data in the octahedral stress space, using section function expression form, by the method of mathematical derivation and linear fitting, the failure criterion and the elastic yield criterion of early-age C20 concrete materials in the octahedral stress space are established. By comparison between failure criterion and elastic yield criterion of C20 concrete, the subsequent yield criterion could be derived based on the non-uniform isotropic strengthening criterion.

Base on Knothe time function, a new time function was proposed by adding parameter which is approved more accurate in predicting surface subsidence than Knothe funciton. Combing this new time function with section function of surface subsidence basin, a dynamic model is proposed to predict surface subsidence induced by underground mining and a case study based on this model was carried out. The results illustrates this model is more accurate to reflect the dynamic process of surface subsidence

A new time function was proposed to cover the disadvantage of knothe time function in predicting surface subsidence by adding parameter k. The velocity and acceleration of the progressive surface subsidence obtained from this new time function were compared with actual subsidence data from an iron mine in China. Combining this new time function with section function of surface subsidence basin, a dynamic mode was proposed to predict surface subsidence induced by underground mining and a case study based on this model was carried out. It shows that this model accurately represents the actual subsidence pattern observed. Instruction
