Lessons learnt from the initial stages of the COVID-19 outbreak indicate the need for a more coordinated economic and public health response. While social distancing has been shown to be effective as a non-pharmaceutical intervention (NPI) measure to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, the economic costs have been substantial. Insights combining epidemiological and economic data provide new theoretical predictions that can be used to better understand the health economy tradeoffs. This literature review aims to elucidate perspectives to assist policy implementation related to the management of the ongoing and impending outbreaks regarding the Health Economic Dilemma (HED). This review unveiled the need for information-based decision-support systems which will combine pandemic spread modelling and control, with economic models. It is expected that the current review will not only support policy makers but will also provide researchers on the development of related decision-support-systems with comprehensive information on the various aspects of the HED.

Firstly, this paper describes a phenomenon of transnational organization and general condition of world and ‘man in the world’. For developing a comprehensive framework, it presents authentic literature review beginning from modernity to post modernity using the hermeneutic-interpretivism research tradition to show the similarities between modernism and post modernism. By revealing the missing link in the quantum paradigm of ralph Kilmann (scholar of quantum organization) on one hand, it develops the possibility of reviving revealed knowledge back into the main frame knowledge of organization theory, on the other hand. By raising and addressing the question of how can the revealed knowledge addresses the current economic dilemma, the paper describes the three lenses available used to understand natural world, socio economic world and behavioral world in Newtonian verses quantum assumptions on organization theory   along with their implications. For cross fertilization of ideas and better understanding of God, cosmos and human it presents an alternative of Islamic way forward suggested by scholarly views from East and West. To further substantiate, it presents the stunning insights from the renowned wisdom traditions (pragmatic civilizations) to highlight why religions matter to show (the levels of reality and levels of selfhood as well as relationship between Necessity being and contingent being), responding the situation of power and domination prevalent in organizing world by suggesting historical/civilizational ethical mode and adopting psycho, spiritual-pragmatic approach with holistic world view (Big picture).

Historic structures are unparalleled jewels of the past embedded in the built environment. They integrate the present society with the past and future through its historic fabric existence over the decades. The negligence due to the economic dilemma in our part of the world is one of the major reasons of the disappearance of many such historic structures. Building condition assessment tool is very useful in decision making for such historic structures that can be saved for the future generations within the available resources through the maintenance prioritization listing developed regionally. The presented research was carried out on one of the historic structure Samadhi Dewan Mal situated in Multan (which is known as the city of saints). The city of Multan displays rich historical evidences in the form of tombs, mosques, historic residential houses, palaces, temples and archaeological sites. Through the visual analysis in addition to the damage identification and observations maintenance matrix was developed for different parts of the historic structure that can be replicated for other structures/ sites as well to stop further destruction of neglected heritage. The concluded rating of Samadhi Dewan Mal placed it in medium condition that needs repair strategy to regenerate its original essence with authenticity.

Spiders use venom to subdue their prey, but little is known about the diversity of venoms in different spider families. Given the limited data available for orb-weaver spiders (Araneidae), we selected the wasp spider Argiope bruennichi for detailed analysis. Our strategy combined a transcriptomics pipeline based on multiple assemblies with a dual proteomics workflow involving parallel mass spectrometry techniques and electrophoretic profiling. We found that the remarkably simple venom of A. bruennichi has an atypical composition compared to other spider venoms, prominently featuring members of the cysteine-rich secretory protein, antigen 5 and pathogenesis-related protein 1 (CAP) superfamily and other, mostly high-molecular-weight proteins. We also detected a subset of potentially novel toxins similar to neuropeptides. We discuss the potential function of these proteins in the context of the unique hunting behavior of wasp spiders, which rely mostly on silk to trap their prey. We propose that the simplicity of the venom evolved to solve an economic dilemma between two competing yet metabolically expensive weapon systems. This study emphasizes the importance of cutting-edge methods to encompass the lineages of smaller venomous species that have yet to be characterized in detail, allowing us to understand the biology of their venom systems and to mine this prolific resource for translational research.

Trade and investment are significant aspects in economic cooperation between Guangzhou and BRI (Belt and Road Initiative) countries. To solve its economic dilemma in export and manufacturing sector, Guangzhou should try to identify the BRI regions to promote overseas production capacity cooperation, especially in trade and investment. By dividing the BRI countries into six regional groups and using a modified ESI (Export Similarity Index) model, this paper aims to examine the level of competition between Guangzhou and various BRI regional groups from perspectives of trade and investment. From the results, we find that Guangzhou has the highest competition level with ASEAN and South Asian countries in trade while in investment, ASEAN and Central and Eastern Europe are the most potent competitors for Guangzhou. We think there are insightful implications within the empirical analysis and could promote the efficiency of Guangzhou's trade and outward investment under the BRI framework.

Most researches on migration have often targeted the host cities where the living conditions and the coping strategies of the migrants are documented. The push factors in their home towns and regions are theoretically being referred. The most common among the factors are poverty and unemployment resulting from the dwindling fortunes in agriculture. The study selected the Northern region because it is the largest, both in terms of agriculture and the supplier of migrants for the kayaye business. The outmigration of this group of people has remained a serious socio-economic dilemma for policy makers in Ghana. The study sets out to review why some selected key policies have failed to reverse this menace. At the same time it examines the structural economy of the region which is generally agricultural. Three different quantitative techniques are used to determine the relationship between labor and agricultural production. Results of all these techniques suggest a significant reduction in the labor employed in agricultural production. This brought to light how agriculture, the traditional occupation of these migrants rejects their labor. With educational and skills barriers to the industry and services sectors, the kayaye business is an inevitable alternative. In the light of these findings, policy recommendations have been provided.
