AbstractAccording to their strength, the tracing properties of a code can be categorized as frameproof, separating, IPP and TA. It is known that, if the minimum distance of the code is larger than a certain threshold then the TA property implies the rest. Silverberg et al. ask if there is some kind of tracing capability left when the minimum distance falls below the threshold. Under different assumptions, several papers have given a negative answer to the question. In this paper, further progress is made. We establish values of the minimum distance for which Reed-Solomon codes do not posses the separating property.

AbstractWe recently showed that synaptophysin (Syph) and synapsin (Syn) can induce liquid–liquid phase separation (LLPS) to cluster small synaptic-like microvesicles in living cells which are highly reminiscent of SV cluster. However, as there is no physical interaction between them, the underlying mechanism for their coacervation remains unknown. Here, we showed that the coacervation between Syph and Syn is primarily governed by multivalent pi–cation electrostatic interactions among tyrosine residues of Syph C-terminal (Ct) and positively charged Syn. We found that Syph Ct is intrinsically disordered and it alone can form liquid droplets by interactions among themselves at high concentration in a crowding environment in vitro or when assisted by additional interactions by tagging with light-sensitive CRY2PHR or subunits of a multimeric protein in living cells. Syph Ct contains 10 repeated sequences, 9 of them start with tyrosine, and mutating 9 tyrosine to serine (9YS) completely abolished the phase separating property of Syph Ct, indicating tyrosine-mediated pi-interactions are critical. We further found that 9YS mutation failed to coacervate with Syn, and since 9YS retains Syph’s negative charge, the results indicate that pi–cation interactions rather than simple charge interactions are responsible for their coacervation. In addition to revealing the underlying mechanism of Syph and Syn coacervation, our results also raise the possibility that physiological regulation of pi–cation interactions between Syph and Syn during synaptic activity may contribute to the dynamics of synaptic vesicle clustering.

ABSTRACT Our regimentation of Goodman and Myhill’s proof of Excluded Middle revealed among its premises a form of Choice and an instance of Separation. Here we revisit Zermelo’s requirement that the separating property be definite. The instance that Goodman and Myhill used is not constructively warranted. It is that principle, and not Choice alone, that precipitates Excluded Middle. Separation in various axiomatizations of constructive set theory is examined. We conclude that insufficient critical attention has been paid to how those forms of Separation fail, in light of the Goodman–Myhill result, to capture a genuinely constructive notion of set.

Intermarriage is a phenomenon that is rife with the development of increasingly rapid technology weapons. Implementation of mixed marriages must not be separated from the constraints and risks will dihadi offender Mixed Marriage itself. One of the problems that arise are related to the occurrence of the Joint Treasure especially over land rights as legal consequences arising from the holding of intermarriage intermarriage especially if implemented without prenuptial agreement. The author of this thesis wants to study and analyze more about the law as a result of intermarriage without severance agreement treasure to land ownership and settlement of land ownership issues arising from mixed marriage without separation agreement treasure. The method used is a normative legal research, namely legal research done by researching library materials or secondary law while in locating and collecting data is done by two approaches, namely legislation and conceptual approaches. The results showed that the legal consequences of intermarriage in the absence of agreement separating property to the ownership rights to the land after the enactment of Law No. 1 of 1974 About the marriage, property acquired during the marriage is community property as engaging joint property so that if it is not made an prenuptial agreement the property rights to land shall be released within a period of one (1) year or the land falls to the state. The resolution attempts to do to the problems of land ownership arising from mixed marriages without the agreement split the treasure is in the form of drafting of a treaty mate after marriage or reduction of land rights from property rights into rights of use in accordance with the provisions of that kind of tenure, which may possess by someone follow the status of their land rights subjects in accordance with the provisions of the legislation

To investigate the influence of entraining and separating effect of gas–liquid two-phase on self-priming performance in the flow-ejecting centrifugal pump, three different schemes of adding the baffle plate behind the guide vane were proposed. Experiments on self-priming performance for three different guide vane schemes were carried out, and numerical calculations on entraining property in the ejector and separating property in the chamber were analyzed by means of the Eulerian–Eulerian multiphase flow model. Meanwhile, the frequency domain properties of pressure pulsation and the pump performance curves were obtained to further verify the feasibility of the scheme in practical application. The results show that the simulation analysis agreed well with the test results. The area and magnitude of high velocity region and vorticities in the ejector of scheme 2 are remarkably larger than those of other schemes. Gas–liquid separation efficiency in a pump chamber also significantly improves when the baffle plate behind the guide vane is mounted at an appropriate position. Furthermore, different guide vane schemes have certain impact on the characteristics of internal and unsteady flow pulsation phenomena in model pump but are within the acceptable operation range. The head and efficiency of scheme 2 are also slightly higher than those of the prototype in the full operation range.

A new style single outlet downhole hydrocyclone desander with spiral deflectors was designed according to the working characters of downhole desander, which combined hydrocyclone separation and sediment separation. Numerical simulation was conducted to analysis effect of produced liquid viscosity on flow characteristics and separating property. The results show that the tangential velocity of hydrocyclone desander decreases rapidly and the axial velocity and radial velocity of hydrocyclone desander changes slightly when the produced liquid viscosity changes in the range of 1.5mPa·s ~ 30mPa·s. Separation efficiency drops sharply and pressure drop decreases slightly with the increasing of produced liquid viscosity.

AbstractIn this paper we first consider a real-linear isometry T from a certain subspace A of C(X) (endowed with supremum norm) into C(Y) where X and Y are compact Hausdorff spaces and give a result concerning the description of T whenever A is a uniform algebra on X. The result is improved for the case where T(A) is, in addition, a complex subspace of C(Y). We also give a similar description for the case where A is a function space on X and the range of T is a real subspace of C(Y) satisfying a ceratin separating property. Next similar results are obtained for real-linear isometries between spaces of Lipschitz functions on compact metric spaces endowed with a certain complete norm.

Dynamic hydrocyclone is currently used in separating oil and water from the crude oil, in which the fluid rolling motion is drived by the external power. Compared with the static type, the dynamic hydrocylone has higher separating property, while its structure is more complex and its separating property is influenced seriously by all the rotary components. Based on the original model, dynamic hydrocyclone of the new type is designed and manufactured, while applying the vibration signal collection and analysis system of IOtech640 type in the vibration characteristic analysis of the model body. The result shows that, when the rotating speed rises from 600r/min to 2000r/min and the flux from 1 to 3 m3/h, the level time-domain vibration peak of the monitoring site both the near the electromotor and the faraway is under 3.4×10−4, while the vertical is under 3.2×10−4, with steady frequency components in the vibration signal. It is illustrated that vibration intensity of the dynamic hydrocyclone of the new optimized type is lightened, which may confirm the improvement of the separation property and the operational life.
